The reason the seed loaded so fast in Sand Kingdom was because they set a time at the beginning of the run in the switch settings so that when you are in the shop room daylight saving time hits and it jumps forward an hour, since it usually takes 20 minutes for the seed to grow into the moon. Just thought you would like to know that Noah.
7:11 For those observant there, that nut shouldn't have grown that fast. Now the reason why it happened is because of Daylight Savings Time Abuse. Before the run, the runner changes the time and date to line up with daylight savings so the clock skips ahead an hour while he is in that area so that when he comes out, the nut is grown because the game accounts that time skipped by Daylight Savings. I believe Speedrunners used to change the time and date mid run but of course that takes time to do so they align it with the time it takes to get to that point in the run
And one more thing, that's also why the dates are incorrect when you collect a moon.

Little thing you might have not noticed, that flower in sand you plant doesn't grow instantly. The players make it so their switches time is set before daylight savings time so that when they go into that room, and when they come out it has been an hour and the flower has grown, allowing you to get that moon. :)

there's a video of this game compiled of multiple players ranging from both solos and co-op players that submitted their best times on different parts and it all rounds up to 55 minutes. I recommend you watch it cause it's pretty cool cause some co-op players in the video play with both hands and feet meaning that they control mario with their hands and cappy with their feet. It's really cool and shows just how dedicated the community is to take the game to it's limit
noah! fun fact about this speedrun, the nut that he throws in sand kingdom right away normally takes longer than a couple of seconds to get however, he sets his console's date and time to be a little before daylight savings time so the nut instantly grows all the way up so he doesn't have to wait for it. which also means that the beginning of the run has to be basically perfect or else he would have to wait for the nut to hatch.

This game is so incredibly cool. The insane level of skill and mastery required to run through this game with incredible movement stringing together ridiculous tricks and moves without mistakes, frame perfect movement one after another to achieve a world record in a highly optimized game is so impressive. The memorization of the exact key inputs in every single part of the game. He destroyed this game and made the boss fights look like a breeze. Such a skill based movement based speedrun. I loved his reaction at the end, over 22000 attempts culminated into one moment of outstanding achievement. Sad it was beat by two seconds but still big ups to this speedrunner for his skill and dedication

I’d just like to mention my favorite skip in sand kingdom. When he gets the moon from the seed usually you have to wait for it to grow but for the run they set up their switch so that right when they get to that part that day light savings goes ahead an hour so the game thinks it’s been an hour and the moon is there

noah should react to the 3 captures world record in super mario odyssey bc that run uses multiple frame perfect tricks such as Cappy return cancel and nut jumps. they also have to use 2 player mode and play with hands and feet.
As a person that actively speedruns this game, I appreciate seeing Noah's reactions.

The point of throwing the cap at random times is because when Mario gets the cap he does a spin that gives slight movement speed and height

My brother speedruns this game and it truly confounds me how difficult it is
51:00 the boss fight he had, that shocked me cuz I think u had to wait for them to rotate sides to get them one by one which takes way more time but he jus ground pounded all of them in 20 secs

I don't think yall realize how difficult this is for anyone to pull off. It's an hour-long speedrun, filled with extremely precise and skillful movement. This kind of stuff takes months to get down, maybe even years. They need to memorize every single glitch, movement trick, what jumps are possible, and what aren't. It's truly impressive.
Super Mario World was my most favorite Mario game of all time with Odyssey being a close 3nd
