    • I do agree on this but would like to add that some people aren’t raised with this style but do have it in them to pull it of once they discover it, in my eyes that is what this channel is mainly about: to find and teach the young guys who have the determination, willingness, manners and or physical appearance to pull of this style about this style. Those that do not have what it takes will fail but only the right guys with the right attitude will be able to take away from these videos and succeed in wearing this style with confidence. Some people who are born into this style don’t have it in them to continue life with this style and will become like most of genz but for example this guy was a goth before and now you would almost think he was raised in Buckingham palace.

  • My main issue with the 'old money' look is that too often you'll look like a complete twat if you try it. Imagine wearing a cricket jumper on a night out in Manchester. You'd have your own blood on it before too long. Old money outfits work great if you're attending a polo match or a regatta. If you live on a council estate in Wigan, they're not going to help much. My experience has been that it's better to have your own sartorial style, and base it on the Four Commandments of dressing well; -Put some thought into your outfit -Choose your shoes wisely; women WILL notice them -Put your outfit on with care -Forget you're wearing it. Nothing looks worse than a self-conscious man trying to look cool.

    • Kind of depends, though. There's not a lot of difference between some of the more casual fringes of old money aesthetic and the archetypal 80s hooligan look (Ralph Lauren polo shirts, Sergio Tacchini tennis sweaters, Burberry accessories, etc). And tbf, you'd look as much of a twat wearing an Adidas trackie at Henley Regatta as you would wearing a blazer and cricket sweater on a Wigan council estate. Different outfits for different occasions... The main thing I dislike about the old money aesthetic is the name and its implications, because real old money dresses like complete shite (tatty cardigans, muddy boots, corduroy trousers that have been handed down across 9 generations and the like). Not to mention the fact that if you're curating a specific aesthetic (one made popular on fucking Instagram no less) it doesn't seem very authentic to me. I have no problem with the clothes per se (shit, I own 2 cricket sweaters myself), but much more of a problem with people trying to curate a specific "image" they copied off social media, no matter what that image is).

I like to combine the white one with a plaid shirt and my leather and sheepskin flying jacket personally, while the navy one I find works best with a striped or patterned shirt and a light-coloured jacket or suit.

It was sad really because they were supposed to Men much older than I at the time but they were dressed like children and they were acting like children and this is now the "norm"? • It's true. Women care less what a guy wears and more about his looks. If he is tall and handsome he is always going to be more attractive than the short, balding well dressed guy in a suit. If you put a tall male model wearing nothing but thongs, boxers and a singlet next to a 5 foot thinning red haired man in a perfect fitting bespoke suit, I bet you the the good looking guy wearing thongs will 99 percent always win the girl. Even if he were dirt poor and dirty. However if by any chance the short ugly dude scored a date with the rare 1 percent of women, you can be assured it's a gold digger. Think of it like real estate. A tall handsome but unkempt badly dressed man is a renovators dream. But a well dressed short ugly man is a nice house with a termite infestation

      @oysterman962@oysterman9622 ай бұрын
    • Yes a lot of it is subconscious. Women can be very intuitive with how they actually think about stuff, which means that they could rationally say one thing but then when it comes to it actually happening they say or think another thing. This is not a bad thing btw, it’s just the nature of being feminine. It’s probably also why women are so much more empathetic than men generally.

    • @@chimpanzeeenjoyer4667 How can the trait of contradiction not be a bad thing? imo it's a major communication flaw! A woman's indecision causes confusion, disruption, anxiety in a relationship. It could be misinterpreted as nonchalance, disrespectful, rude and heartless which could result in dishonesty and infidelity, this can then escalate to further more violent conflict. It's probably the cause of many problems in relationships today and even in the corporate world where decisions need to be made quickly and effectively. There are zero benefits of being indecisive and contradictory. It's utmost important to mean what you say and say what you mean!

      @oysterman962@oysterman96214 күн бұрын
    • @@oysterman962 men and women both need eachother, and one of the best things you can provide to your woman as a man is firm decisiveness. The only reason it would cause anxiety in your relationship is if you can’t make decisions for yourself in the relationship. And especially if it leads to VIOLENT conflict, that means you should not be in a relationship with a woman. Honestly if you want someone who always speaks their mind and says exactly what they think, you might be better off with a man.

  • I think the last comment Augustina made was the most accurate and relevant. Everything else is subjective. Especially that all but 2 guys in your sample photos are models, I think they can get away with wearing a lot more than what normal fat, short, bald, disproportional bodied men can't pull off. With women it's more about the looks, build and height of the man than his clothes. If you put a well dressed short bald ugly guy next to a tall muscular well chiseled jawlined model wearing thongs and a t shirt; I guarantee she will always pick the better looking guy than the best dressed. And there's nothing wrong with that because it's an instinct humans are drawn to attractiveness for procreation of our species. But to judge clothing style is an individual choice. To be honest I don't find Augustina's style was to my preference. That 1950s dress and headband reminds me of the Happy Days era. A bit outdated for modern times. She was also wearing an Apple watch which was offensive. However, if she looked like a supermodel I'm sure I would overlook her style mistakes
