I'm 73 and I get these calls all the time.. While computer proficient, I'm certainly no hacker.. HOWEVER, I have managed to keep them busy for up to an hour on more than one occasion as they explain how much danger my account is in and how to get on my computer so they can "help me". I have folded a load of laundry and emptied the dishwasher while I was supposed to be getting a pen and paper. I'm sorry there are people that fall for this stuff. I've just always had a sense that Amazon, Microsoft and Social Security don't call you!! thanks for what you do.

The thing is that the banks wont help and the police dosent do much, even if they arrest them they get bailed out, or they bribe the cops. And in some cases these local scam centers pay huge amount to the local politicans and they become untouchable. And the poor people have to suffer.
