Wait until you see what my cameraman found...he retired moments later.
Thanks to Bill at Island Creek Oysters for having us and taking us through the full process of oyster farming.

He's already far foo lmao
Dude you’re growing so fast been here since I think around 200k and it’s so crazy bro you’re an inspiration! God bless you
Oh cool. I think i was here since 4
@@markusikast8510 There is no reason to make that comment.
First video I saw was his beef Wellington one that he made like a year or so ago
@@Jaxonj09 was there a reason to make that one? he was sharing so i dont blame him at all. be quiet and get back to eating your 20 big macs.
@@colethelegend omg I just re read that comment I thought he was being a smart Alec and said this: “Oh cool i’ve been here since 4.” Also I don’t like McDonalds soooo..
I've done some work with oysters in school in the past few months, they're really fascinating creatures. We made what's called 'oyster condos' and put them in the bay, they will settle on them so we can measure their growth and health. It's pretty interesting work, and I've really enjoyed learning more about them. This video was really fun for me to watch, I enjoy all of your videos, but this one hit different. Keep up the good work, can't wait for the next upload!
This 10-minute video went by so fast! Who knew growing oysters would be so interesting!
There’s a bot that stole your comment
I've never had an oyster or even thought about having an oyster, but I will still watch this video
what a generous specimen
U should try it , it is salty with a fish texture
You should try it, quite delicious, a little lime a pinch of salt, and a dash of tapatio, oof chefs kiss
They are delicious. And their are a variety of flavors depending on the species, location, etc. So if you try one and don't like it, try a different one.
If it's any competition i am vegetarian 🤣
Your videos are just getting better and better Nick! I’m loving seeing you visit all of these different places! 🙌🏽
Nick would be the one to knock on Mannys door when he retires and say “your fired”
I think this is the most memes and swears nick has put in a video 😂😂😂
A bit too much
Your videos are class man, really enjoy them. Keep pushing👏🏻👏🏻
Hey Nick. You will have to come down to New Orleans sometime to get some oysters. We have some excellent restaurants down this way for you to try - Brennan's, Cafe Du Monde, Arnaud's, Commanders Palace, Galatoire's, plus many more.
True facts
@@sunlityy I went to Felix’s the other day for lunch.
@@KennethJames7273 honestly new Orleans is underrated and sometimes the places that don't look convincing sell banging foods
I love watching your videos every time it says you post a new video I get so excited 😭
Bro, the editor/s deserves some recognition 👏 Good Job! You always make the videos entertaining to watch. Also, history was made. 1st time Manny Quit instead of being fired.
This should be a shorts vid
wait did he legit quit for real?

Nick makes our days better
ive had a ton of oysters, the best without a shadow of a doubt are wild Apalachicola oysters, but they are now banned from harvest until 2025. There are farm raised ones but they are generally smaller and don't have the same texture or salt taste.
U know ur oysters ! U r spot on. I grew up eating them.
I have a question, do you chew the oysters? I prefer small oysters so I can swallow them whole
Nick's Haircut: when a Pro Barber meets a Pro Chef 😂
Love ur vid man keep doing vids like this 👍❤️
Hey Nick! Been following you for awhile before I even realized you were from Massachusetts! Duxbury resident here! Island Creek is the best!
Next nick should give a tour of his wagyu farm
As someone who can eat raw oysters every day of the week, this video is a blessing
Always a good day when nick post
Absolutely love and enjoy watching your videos
the video was absolutely brilliant keep up the excellent work nick
Nick, I enjoy your content. I am hard of hearing, so when you have a production that doesn’t include body mics for all on-screen talent, you’re basically excluding the folks who can’t hear so well from enjoying what you’re doing in these cool videos. I hope you consider making an investment into your production quality and mic up all speakers in the future.
I’m an audio engineer here and the truth is, it just takes an audio engineer to sort and truly level things out, that includes using compression, eq, limiters etc etc, so until they figure that out it’ll take some time, doesn’t have to be great or even good mics for that matter, just good work
Thanks for uploading often
Oysters are my favorite seafood to eat by far!!! It's so good it's unbelievable
I didn't have them for a long time, not just cuz of the price but because they looked so weird, but no regrets once I did. The trick is adding right combination of condiments, like lemon juice, vinegar, hot sauce, etc. Best ever were in a SF Bay Area Marina side restaurant. Fresh from the farm.
My family LOVES oysters but I have never tried one but have always wanted to. How did Manny manage to find the pearl HOW.
That is what he gets for quitting his job
When you didnt expect gods plan
That's the big question 🤣
I think it was planted. There's a second when the camera is not on his hands. It wouldn't take much to slip one in
Man I love your content keep up the good work.
I like these informative videos and comedy together the best of the best
oysters are delicious, especially with lemon juice 😋
; P yum
Island Creek Oysters are fantastic- great taste, great variety (they sell for a lot of different oyster farms that are producing various types of oysters), reasonable price, fast shipping, and they have other good fresh and tinned seafood. I highly recommend them if you want to have oysters at home.
This is probably my fav video. That guy matches your energy Nick haha
Goodbye Manny, We all know you will be back again.
Loved this, This man loves his craft so bravo to that 👍
I miss ur long cooking vids nick. Bring them back plz :)

I love the lil sidetalk NYC clip in there 🤣 bing bong!
Very educational. Great content man.
Did he actually find a pearl? It seems too good to be true.
Oysters do not reproduce asexually 😂 it's sexual reproduction, since as mentioned it involves male and female gametes, all that stuff. Otherwise great video!
I actually have one of these near me so whenever me and my family go paddle boarding we also pass through to check on it its pretty cool.
@viloet🌺⤵️ lol im a liteal minor thats actually illegal!!!
When I was a child I'd go in the water and pry out oysters from rocks, open them, wash them out and eat right there on the spot/by the rock, salty, briny and goowy, delicious and ALIVE! BTW that took place in Tapera, Florianópolis, SC, Brazil. Before the 90's.

I can’t tell you how elated I am that you put a clip from Trailer Park Boys in this video. Jim Lahey was the man! “Shithawks…big dirty Shithawks…They’re comin Bubbles”
All Bubba wanted was a shrimp farm. Life gave him oysters.
Nick = good content and daddy
“I ate oysters alive” Damn, i have never done that
Manny got so lucky to get a big pearl
The Jim Lahey clip had me rolling💀💀
If I wasn't subscribed and didn't watch your video, I would have never have known that this was an actual profession. Fun fact oysters shells are like razor blades and will cut you open with a quickness. In the wild, they can be full of bacteria, ask me how I know.
