  • Sony just lowered the 65" and 55" BRAVIA 7 prices for all authorized dealers. So now the 65" BRAVIA 7 is $1,999. and the 55" is just $1,699. all in and delivered Nationwide. Plus check with your favorite Sony Diamond dealer :) for even more savings!

    • @@mrbillinsfhigher color volume in hdr comes from higher brightness. Also it doesn't just mean making your tv a Gian flashlight. A tv that can output more light in a smaller space, more commonly referred to lumens in a 10% window, the better the tv can display a bright object without oversaturating close elements in the shot. That is why professionals publish their films on screens that have over 4000 lumens

The blooming has the characteristics of a CSOT panel. The 85 in last 2 years of miniLED got AUO panels. Don't know though if that will be the case with B7. It might have CSOT across the board.

Plus a lot of completion in this range for "average" consumer . The 98" is crazy price though . If Samsung discounts it's S95D 77" dramatically , would be hard to go past that ( in my country always cheaper than LG G series ) . • Thanks for the video, looking forward to more and especially some comparison maybe with X95L, as 85 vs 85 and maybe against some other TVs. Some observations I saw. It does bloom a bit, partly could be camera showing it more strongly than real life if it took in more light. Or it could be what it is. The bloom had a slight blueish hue which tells me it's CSOT panel and I have a feeling like the lower sizes again with Bravia 7 as previous models will have different quality. The 85" likely best black level and native contrast. The TV does look great though I like all the features. I don't think it's behind in gaming. It has basically all the "game settings" you could want, even motion blur reduction (BFI) if you so choose of course more input lag with that. It has predefined setting and you can change it all. The game mode is the most realistic on a Sony as in accurate and you can tweak it to punch more. For me I would not want it to punch more than what the Sony can do. Then it's just an absolute mess of oversaturation etc. It has some unique game bar features. The "Screen size" setting, is really cool and useful if you go with a really large size and sit close. You do not want to play COD/Battlefield or any competitive MP shooter on an 85" sitting close. You wouldn't be able to see the periphery well and you would have to move your eyes and head too much. So the ability to reduce the size to a 75" or 65" size right in the center could be really nice for those types of games. Reality creation can enhance low quality and blurrier games etc. I seen 120hz is about 8.6ms in game mode. That is basically 3ms above a Samsung or LG. So, yeah I doubt I'd notice 3ms. The thing is you might even be able to change that since reality creation seems on by default at "10" (out of 100). That is processing and turning it off might net a little bit of a reduction in input-lag? I am going for Bravia 9 and since this Bravia 7 is likely closer to X95L there should be a pretty big difference. Still the Bravia 7 looks great for those who can't go for B9.

    • Excellent comment! They are behind in gaming my friend. Only 2 hdmi2.1, no 1440p even though the PS5 has it , no 144HZ capabilities even though most companies do. The game mode looks amazing but being real they are behind. They also know it and own it. The moniker is bringing cinema home not gaming home😁 It's a 65" mini led so blooming is inevitable however they do not suppress the brightness to compensate. Shadow detail and peak brightness for HDR impact is their signature

  • Hello Brian, thanks for this video! Do you think the Bravia 7 is reaching the level of a X95L? Would you buy now the 7 or would you go to one of the last x95L in the shops? Your last words in your video describes it as more vibrant than the x95L. I'm just awaited the new flag ship Bravia 9, instead of buying a x95L just 2 months ago. But Sony badly decided not to sell 65" Bravia 9 in Europe.. Now I'm to decide to buy a x95L or a Bravia 7. what would you do? The last x95L should be a few hundred bucks cheaper than the 7. I'm fan of LED TVs because of bright living room. We use now a 55" Samsung FALD LED TV (LED topmodel from 2018), but the hdmi inputs of this tv are dying. Need a new one up to 65".

    @eliaselias4647@eliaselias464715 күн бұрын
    • You can game in any mode you like but it won't be game mode. You would simply add motion interpolation to help with lag. You'd also lose the game bar. Which isn't important if you are able to use all the other settings
