It was a really good day unfortunately losing so 4 guys pretty early in the trip! But everyone got home and got home safe! 👌🏼 that pick up truck really did well few mishaps along the way but proved it’s worth against the land rovers!! 😉

Hey David thanks for watching!! Yeah I don’t think a V8 would last long in that deep water! We lost 1 disco at the start,then 3 after first river crossing then the black truck near the end!..was a tough day for all only two completed the whole route! 🤦♂️👌🏼👌🏼 hope you enjoy the channel!

Would love to explore over there do they have green lanes over there or do you have to seek Permission from landowners like you do in Scotland??
@@ALL_4_WHEELS at least on the west coast where we where off roading it wasn t a problem. we knew off roaders that had access to local quaries and from my experience farmers where happy to let us trough their land when asked.things like beaches and abandoned railway tracks are not a problem either.most people are still amazed when our landys pulled up and wanted to have a chat with us.

Hey Shaune how’s it going buddy?? This was a good trip a few days after we had a big storm and we went out and found a lot of deep rivers and fords! Some were pretty deep! All in all a really good day! Thanks for watching! 🤘🤘
@@ALL_4_WHEELS mate you guys are legends. I’ve done a few deep water crossings myself up and over the bonnet. I just don’t have a snorkel fitted yet and it’s a v6 3.0 ltr petrol. My old girl hasn’t let me down yet. I’ve never had any problems getting her thru most stuff. She’s still pretty standard for now but she getting there. Anyway another ripper of a track and love watching you guys and the videos mate 🤙😎🇦🇺

Yeah he was as he spent everyday tweaking and modifying it ready for that day only for it to be over in 10mins! But he’s sent me a vid new parts and all up and running!!!

That sounds like a plan!! Haha disco td5 are good along as they have cdl and traction control good set Tyres and your good to go as long as you don’t have the 3 amigo’s lights on the dash!! Get yourself a tidy defender prices are going up on these very quickly now!! 👍👍

The first one could upgrade his suspension so the axle actually twists like you see in rock crawling. Just a thought as I'm not an expert on 4x4 I just enjoy watching. I ain't even got a license 🤣

The steed did really well and it’s stick suspension all terrain type tyres no difflocks but did well. Was a bit of a sketchy nervous moment when it was floating in the river!! Thanks for the support hope the other vids will interest you!

So much deep water. My D2 doesn't have a Raised air intake as the Mrs finds them too unsightly, but I got the ECU in a waitrose bag now! because I'm posh! 🤣 I'd have had to sit out most of the day or ride with somebody else! Also I don't know my door seals would be able to repel such epic amounts of water at their age.
Haha top quality Waitrose bag!! It was pretty deep we don’t normally go in that deep but as it was a two hour drive we made the most out of the day! Some epic lanes! Most under deep water haha!! 👌🏼👌🏼

My mother loves to tell anyone who'll listen that she learnt to drive in my grandad's Series 2 (which would have been new at the time). I'm only giving you a hard time because I'm currently driving a 2nd Gen Surf. Tell any Toyota guys that join you on a trip to plumb their diff breathers into the airbox (cheap, quick easy DIY) if they want to do any of this stuff.They sit just above the axles in a lot of cases...

@@ALL_4_WHEELS Isuzu are great. The Rodeo was known as the Big Horn down here and was sold with a bullet proof 2.8 turbo diesel, I owned the SWB version for ten years, amazing trucks. The yanks had the petrol version called the Trooper. They eventually morphed into the D-Max utes and Mu-X SUVs we have today. My sister drives a new Mu-X and they are still just as bullet proof as they were.

People complain if they are muddy,complain they too dry,complain they too wet,complain they too challenging,complain they not challenging,complain about anything they are all roads(minor roads we pay road tax ) we drive these roads and most where fords and river crossing so always wet..😉👌🏼👌🏼

Put on a language alert in the title, families watch these videos. Also why ruin the roads further driving them in such terrible conditions. It just fules walkers and horse riders to campain to councils to close off the lanes and they do, we've lost so many lanes in the UK because of bad decisions or large ego's. We repair lanes in our group and fund raise to keep them maintained but you lot come along undo all our hard work. Please keep off the lanes in these conditions and use a play n play site if you want mud and water fun. Think this video will make me un subscribe and I only joined yesterday. On a positive note, well done for not putting music over the footage.
This was an old video not my group just went out with different people. I repaire lanes too in fact I’ve done 10 in my area looking after them when we can I’ve worked with glass high ranked guys even the editor came out with us and helped open up a lane we’ve had land rover magazine out with us as well so we’re not bad..
