  • The way Prior confronted the cousin about her contact with Tammy over the last year was him alluding to "you weren't that close anyway were you?". I wonder if that's what Chad was whispering to him about. (Especially if it was the case that Chad was isolating her from family and loved ones) 😡

    • Exactly how I felt about Prior’s body shaming comment regarding Tammy not looking thin or small, or concerning her BMI; Chad had been writing notes and whispering to Prior before then and I’d bet Chad came up with those questions himself.

  • I’m infuriated over Chad calling Tammy lazy.

    @Jo-Elle504@Jo-Elle50417 күн бұрын
    • Me too. He's projecting his laziness onto her. Chad definitely isolated Tammy from her friends and family and he was also mentally and emotionally abusive. My heart breaks for Tammy because she deserved to live a long life filled with joy and happiness. Chad and Lori also deprived Tammy's grandchildren the chance to be loved by their grandmother. There's nothing like the love a child feels from their grandmother. My infant son loves his Ima and she loves him so much. I am so grateful that we have her in his life.

  • I wish Chad’s devoted children could be in court to hear the evidence. The way Tammy has been betrayed is a betrayal to her. She wasn’t the one running around behind Chad’s back, calling her lover all the time it was Chad. Just goes to show how much control he has on them

  • Chad had obviously devalued and discarded Tammy before he murdered her. However, one would think that Chad would have been smart enough to not talk $hit about her during her funeral. It's really sad that Garth thinks that it's okay that he and Tammy had to hide their leisure time from Chad.

    @snowwhite2524@snowwhite252417 күн бұрын
  • I can’t wait to they bring up the text where Chad tells Lori that everyone thinks I am sad about Tammy’s death, but it is really missing you ! Something like that! He is heartless to kill one person much less 3.

  • For the jury to really absorb information, they need breaks and lunchtime. This isn't a time to cram for a test, it's ingesting a lot of important information to process, to be able to make for a fair trial. Not just for the defendent, but for the victims and their families.

Complaining about me seeming depressed or being negative about me. If you are with an abusive partner yes you become depressed. You try to be perfect and it's never enough and the abuse just continues

  • Tammy was lazy and hard to live with??? How cruel for a husband to say this to a church full of people. We know who was the lazy one. The SLUG. When he wrote his eulogy he would have definitely showed it to his kids to see if he should have added more and fine tuned it. Poor Tammy. Chad GASLIGHTED Tammy for the children to not think highly of her.

  • There are stairs to a loft type room in the Daybell house, most likely in the large addition to the rear. The real estate photos are online. It irked me when Prior asked the witness if she knew the home was one storey without a basement.

    @VictoriaCatLady@VictoriaCatLady17 күн бұрын
    • I wondered about that too. Even though house is one story a lot of those older homes have some stairs and have rooms that are higher or lower than others.

      @DivineDiscoverist@DivineDiscoverist16 күн бұрын
    • What worries me is that Prior is so aggressive & knows this case inside out. It was the Prosecuting Attorney’s job to know the lay out of that house. He should have known about that loft! He should have came back in direct and asked her if she was aware of the upstairs loft. He didn’t know! It is not the first time he’s made mistakes. I’m afraid that if they don’t stop this, it is going to not bring justice for Tylee, J.J. & Tammy.

    • Yes! I caught that too. If I recall correctly, a previous witness mentioned going up to the loft to speak with Chad and Prior didn't push back on that. Prior knows there are stairs in that house! He's just trying to sow seeds of doubt and wreck the credibility of these witnesses.

  • I watched the Apple River murder trial and one thing the judge repeatedly said to the jury was the defense attorney's comments & Questions was not evidence, only the answer that the person testifying was evidence. I have never heard this before in my life. And I've been watching a lot of trials. I think they should do this with John Pryor because he alludes to things that aren't in evidence and then doesn't even put up on the screen to show proof. And his responses intimating that the witness is lying... sick. "Oh, okay."

  • what is up with prior fixated on the "upstairs/downstairs" in chad's house? it's irrelevant. he keeps talking about that. she said "down to the office" from what i heard which doesn't even mean necessarily down"stairs." it's just a turn of phrase "i went down to the office" but he keeps saying so you're saying she went from her UPstairs bedroom to his DOWNstairs office??? but their house is one story?? like it's some kind of gotcha where he caught her in a lie or something. she said she's never been to their house, genius. she's just recounting what she remembered him saying 5 years ago.

  • @hiddentruecrime I’d love to hear your opinion on Prior saying the house is a single story home when the witness testified that Chad said “upstairs/downstairs”. If there aren’t stairs then why did they call that witness? If there is a loft over the garage then why didn’t they state clear that up in recross or with the next witness? (The video from today by “Lawyer You Know” explains what I’m asking). Thanks!

The daughter testified she went through the line twice - once with her mother and once with her father (2 hours apart). Chad told them a different story where he and Tammy went to bed at the same time. Then Chad woke up to her hitting the floor. The prosecution wanted to clarify the daughter was close enough to her father/mother to hear Chad explain what happened. I wonder if they’ll be calling her father to testify as well.
