    • Guys, I was on a JP´s concert in Prague in 2017, and there was something around 50 people. SERIOUSLY! He´s still rather unknown, and I don´t know why? I´ve heard his songs on the radio, but we live in the world when „dance monkey“ has big credit and this true artist not...:-/ And i was checking his tour list and there´s not Czech republik or Slovakia - and it´s understandable, but it makes me sad. His concert was great experience for me.

    • This is good, but his transition to his falsetto is a little nasal. Billie has an incredibly pure head voice. Also he does not sing the outro for some reason .

  • This cover brought a new understanding of the song’s lyrics. I started thinking about my reluctancy to let go of a previous relationship. It was like a dream, everything I wanted. It taught me of my own darkest insecurities. Never believing I was deserving of anyone’s love or acceptance. Never ending people pleasing. But every moving I wake up feeling the one I lost and the lesson of self love that our relationship taught me

    • The way I interpret the song is that Billie is describing a dark phase of her life where she wanted to be gone. To end her life. She had a dream about it... by 'stepping off the Golden'_ she's from the Bay area. And that's 'everything she wanted' at that very moment. But in her dream, no one actually cared. 'Nobody cried. They didn't even notice'. She's talking about her bullies or whoever made her suffer then and pushed her to the extend of wanting to leave this life. When she woke up, her brother was there to remind her her value and tell her how much the people who are making her suffer don't actually deserve her. It seemed pretty clear from her first lines: _ 'I had a dream' _ 'I got everything I wanted' >> She finally ended her life by stepping off the Golden gate _ 'Not what you think' >> Not what everyone might think of while hearing these lyrics (positive stuff) _ 'And if I am being honest it might have been a nightmare to anyone who might care' >> that thing she wanted and she finally did in her dream is indeed a nightmare for everyone who cares about her because she referring to a suicide

    • That is exactly what a cover should be. A lot of the covers are essentially karaoke. If there’s no style or personal spin, why cover a popular song other than to get views. Speeding tempo or slowing it down is also not a cover. Thanks for doing this song some justice.

    • I can't speak on what you're going through, but I feel you... it does feel like people have forgotten kindness. I was making some chicken not too long ago, and someone commented saying "it smells like trash around here"... and that comment hurt me. It could be due to the fact that I've known what it's like to be eating food out of a garbage can, or maybe because my mother taught me not to speak that way about other people's food; it's just not one of those things you say. Funny thing also is that, the person who said it, is the same person that also commented on how "bomb, that chicken was" when they've eaten it before. Now, this isn't a huge problem, just something small... there are larger things in my life going on, but I guess that hit a button for me. But I've been able to meditate and find my center again... then I came in and found this song playing and it just made me smile! This too shall pass... I've apologized to the person for coming at them defensively after that comment, and now just have to let time due it's healing. No matter what people say or do to me nowadays, I love myself enough to know that I have to sleep with my own feelings and actions. It's hard, but it's a day to day spiritual battle that can be won. I believe in you. Glad we could bond over such great music as well!
