No wonder the new jackass sucked
@@ImJustMeanBruh Bruh you missed the point

I love Ehren’s no-bullshit attitude. He seems like the least “crowd pleasing” member of Jackass. What you see is what you get. You can tell he’s been through some times, and figured out early that he’s got to use his situation wisely.
For some reason I always hated Steve-O. Then I found out he grew up a rich brat. I doubt Ehren did.
I'll become a fan when be admits be got got on the terrorist taxi bit twice
@@PokemonBlueVersion why does someone else’s money affect you? You could stop feeling sorry for yourself and go out and earn something, or you could continue being a loser.
@@PokemonBlueVersion I mean Steve O was kicked out at one point and was basically homeless for a chunk of his life up until one of the Jackass films. As a kid he had a well off family, but he wasn't getting that money or support in his teenage or early adult years lol. He was bouncing from friends house to friends house for awhile and doing whatever to make money. Steve O was also broke for a part of his life too.
And I love that he was on Portlandia
Are we really surprised a man named “Poopies” would sign a bad contract
P )( 3 )( d )( 0 Jeff really does robbing people
They ripped him off. Poopies deserves better.
@Aldo R When you paved the way for this shit you have a reason to feel entitled. It is true plenty of people would line up for free to do it.
@@mulcher4permaculture720 he’s getting the attention now…………….rough road but he’ll make it. Jackass was the moment he needed.
@Aldo R Taste of reality for you. Poopies is hitting it as hard as he can. I have faith he’ll be successful.
“Plenty of people have opportunities and still blow it, and plenty of people don’t have opportunity and make it.” Underrated quote
I would have never thought that Ehren’s personality was so responsible and put together. 🤣 wtf 🤯
oh you mean egotistical?
@@imjagg9066 no.
One reason why I kinda do hate when celebrities say things like you can became a millionaire from 10k, after that motivation speak he says many people try it and blow it. Like yeah that's the thing, people don't know where to put the 10k safely so it will grow fast and steady but celebrity status does grant for you to talk for free all day to people who knows business and if you end up trusting any of them you can take the an advice on what is the best route. Also another part of becoming a celeb for example today is that fighters, actors or musical artist doesn't get paid the sameway they used to so all of that is kinda integral, to put money on housing markets and sh!t or they will be broke with many of them having crazy spending habits. Do your own whiskey or weed brand because your celebrity status will sell that and get you in rooms for further deals (or say a hot sauce gröhöm, altough I think Steve-O does make good money because he was kinda only one of them to really being able to integrate into youtube and podcasting worlds because he stood relevant).
he's always been the one that didnt even want to be there.
Makes sense that theu bullied him the most for the same reason.

Ehren is a smart/genuine dude. Good guy to have on your side as a friend. He has his head on his shoulders as best he can after the smoke from jackass cleared away.
Funny how his character always seemed to look so washed up with 2 neurons firing
Dude hes taken enough nutshots to be able to call out any of the new crew. Talk about sacrificing your body, holy fuck.
He has legit taken the worst of the worst that jackass had to offer imo. Anytime the skit included him, you knew who was going to get the worst of that skit.

Watching this triggered a memory for me of back in 2012 my GF and I were staying at my parents house for 2 months and one Sunday morning still dark out my GF had gone to sleep so I was able to use her ipad...I put on Jackass 2 and 3 and watched it until like 7am. I was laughing so hard I wasn't even making a sound I remember it as if I was drunk or high but I wasn't. Everybody else on the planet was asleep and I went deep into Jackass. And it's honestly one of the most serene beautiful memories of my life.
wow i wasted my time reading that
I remember back growing up and watching MTV cribs and it showed Ryan Dunn “Crib” and he was sharing this tiny apartment with couple buddies and seemed he was barely getting by. Then they showed Chris Pontius living his in Toyota Tacoma one episode. But it just seem like a “skit” and was funny cuz they’re were the “Jackass guys”. Knowing the higher up we’re making hundred of millions and they stars were barely getting by is just unreal and heartbreaking
@Aldo R I mean, people would though lol…it gave them the platform to become the people they are today…a lot of the guys wouldn’t have amounted to anything without jackass as their beginning (not ALL, but a lot lol)
Cribs was a scripted show I'm 100% serious you can Google it if you don't trust me. 99% of the celebrity homes were rented air BNB type places.
Johnny and bam's net worth was already above 10 million btw during that time but then You should see pontius's actual house in another crib episode but yeah Tremaine and Knoxville paid gave them like a used condom and half a sandwich as a offer
@@hippityhoppity3964 bam made his money from his own show. He has stated he didn’t make much from jackass. But ya I do remember when pontius did his actually house
@@MTSGaming you’re mistaking though. The jackals crew made jackass. Obviously they gave them the platform but many many shows have gotten chances to be on MTV and didn’t amount to anything. The actors made jackass. They 100% got screwed over. Especially knowing the producers made hundreds of millions and most of the actors where barely getting by
Poopies being broke ..made him the best NEW member ..it's something about being humble and real that sticks with the viewers
Did u notice poppies never mentioned maybe getting a job. No shot ur gona be broke. He doesn't work.
I believe poopies is gonna get it tenfold not far down the road
@@okiedokie7282 Really? Are you about to send him some money or something?
@@okiedokie7282 I hope but man. He is in a position he could easily be making money. Think about it. some high end skate shop or surf shop would absolutely hire him in a min. Garuntee the most money he made was compensation from the shark bite he got on shark week. But then again they prob signed wavers giving up their right to sue if injured.
They pretend to care about Poopies, and pray he doesn’t sue. I don’t believe Stevo had to put much effort into pushing Poopies to support their narrative, but I believe stevo, Knoxville, etc put some effort into convincing Poops that the shark bite was a good thing. You watch poopies talk about the incident, he’s clearly traumatized. Couple that with not paying them or giving some sort of royalties…I don’t see this as a good thing
I like that Ehren is wearing a T-shirt of himself from the Terror Taxi skit. 😂
I forgot about that skit. The pubes of everyone glued to his face ,

Love how “real talk” this interview is. Zero smoke and mirrors.
I agree that it’s crazy in these interviews how responsible and intelligent they actually are compared to their attitudes in the movies. It’s interesting to listen to them just have a normal conversation
They cut Bam because he was asking for millions ad they can still pay these new kids in peanuts. Had nothing to with anything else at all.
@@morningwood9222 what does this have to do with my comment? Lol
I think is like rockstars. If you see the "rockstar world" the ones who rock 24/7 are the ones who die young in horrible ways, and the ones who understand that it is actually a show business are the ones to make it to an old age. You can be the craziest rockstar in the world while on stage, but once the gig is over you go back to your family, your friends, your normal life and responsibilities. Is a job, and you don't have to kill yourself doing your job. I know a few mexican rockstars and when I worked with them personally I was surprised on how professional, mature and responsible most of them are, with the same problemas as me, with the same daily basics as me and even with the same lifestyle as me. Those are the ones who make it in this crazy industry.
Didn’t help that in everything they were in before the third movie, they were pretty much all heavily drinking and on pills among other things lol. Getting constantly hurt sucks a lot more when you’re sober.
Making a lot of mistakes in life tends to make one wiser. Also if your gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough.
This conversation is reinforcing to me just why I hate money with what Ehren said.
Steve-O permasmile Is so funny. He literally doesn’t stop smiling

It's interesting talking about the new crew and money... I can't help but noticed most, if not all of the new crew were established one way or another before this. They already have quite a few bucks behind them. Jasper is related to Tyler the creator Zackass and poopies were established on YT , and the girl was previously a stand up comic.
Loiter squad and too stupid to die (Zachs show) where produced by the same company that produced jaxkass. The 2 of them went from JV to varsity

Never thought Ehren was so bright and positive and constructive
I think Steve-O is trying to continue the legacy of what's left of Jackass before they finally close the saga for good. Bringing in new people and giving them a chance to be on it to finish it up. I understand some of where Ehren is coming from, but i don't think Steve-O is quite ready to end it yet without giving it one more go. Then he'll move on with life. They just want to give the new guys a chance. I'd even be in there if i could.
Famous Broke is not the same as Normal Broke. A famous broke person can easily scrape together a Million doing public appearances and commercials. They may not like it, but its better then working the grill at Waffle House.
Yeah exactly. That little bit of fame can easily be flipped into financial success if you play the right cards and make the right moves and usually with minimal effort

Danger closing out comments were awesome... Steve O great pod cast... love you guys...
They'll end up doing so many more movies with the new crew. Sadly, it'll just be for the money and not for quality of the brand bc we all know Jackass isnt Jackass without the real original cast.
And they will all be trash just like the most recent one was

Squince from the Sandlot grew up to do some pretty funny stuff on that comedy stunt show 😊
Movie makes 70+ million in pure profits and the most recognizable character (from the new crew) can't even put gas in his car and you guys are praising Ehren for not giving a shit about that? K
yeah ehren says he was broke during the tv series but like jackass is a huge name these days like they should get paid more
Best talk for Stevo's Wild ride so far, "Show me tha moneeey!"
Let’s be real jackass forever was all Ehren
Carried the movie. New guys are okay but it ain't the crew.
I remember his disappointed face in the "tazer maze" scene 🤣👍💕
Awesome convo. Love these guys!
I respect the opinion but my view on it is way different lol. Just because the original cast didn’t get paid, does not mean the new cast shouldn’t be. Original should have gotten paid too, or more than they were. Risking injury and all kinds of shit, just because “anyone would do it for free” doesn’t mean they should. Paying them in “exposure” reminds me so much of the Instagram assholes “will you send it to me for free and I’ll post about it and pay you in exposure?” Fuuuck that. Exposure doesn’t pay the bills.
Fr and trying to play this off as a lesson like oh we went through the same thing so you should be fine with it is kinda wild especially if you have the resources for it
@@archivefolds Right! Thank you! It’s like because they weren’t paid, they made sure the new cast wouldn’t be either. Some of them got very…self important and stuck up. I still love the Jackass crew but come on. Pay the employees for their work. This isn’t the 90s.

The owner of the company refused to give me perdíum after I couldn’t find a spot in a new country for a full day that I wanted to ride/get a clip on… he told me “I’m thinking perdium should go to the people who worked today not the guys who were there for support” 😢
This is the realest podcast I’ve heard in a while. We never know what anyone is going through especially celebs, they’re only human after all. People expect every celeb to be powerful gods with no feelings, worries and an endless amount of power. That mentality is the same reason why they wouldn’t last a second in their shoes. Being famous might seem fun but it is the hardest thing ever. It also doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t strive for your dreams but you must be realistic in order to make it. Know that you’re going to struggle almost all the time but also know that it’ll be worth it in the end!
Ehren easily got the worst of it LOL. Legend

Steve-O is starting to sound like one of the large movie heads he would have hated 20 years ago. These new cast mates should be greatful for the, "opportunity," to be in the film. He wanted more money and to pay the new guys in, "exposure."

A new cast seems corny imo. I think what they had with jackass was a thing of the times. It was very punk rock and it meshed well with the skating scene and rock bands. But now watching the new movie it felt like seeing that one group of friends in high school still doing stuff they did in high school. Like that’s cool and sweet but yikes. I’m always gonna have a soft spot for Steve O and the crew and keep up with them. But the new cast and seems lame and always felt like it was a force reaction in the movie.
It's more of paying them with opening doors of opportunities. I mean you gotta do what you gotta do. Charge 10 bucks for a meet and greet or 20 bucks for a shout out or whatever
Wait there's a new Jackass?! 😮 😂😂😂 There is only one crew 😎
As a kid I always that danger ehren was stupid cause he always looked silly and did some of the hardest stunts. It's nice realizing as an adult that he's probably the most insightful level headed one in the group.
I forgot about that jug 4 lyfe tattoo lol... might I have a suggestion?? Steve O and he can find a tag team vs icp in a backyard wrestling match...I'd prolly actually pay to watch that shit lol but it would have to be on the level of cactus sack and drunk Terry funk stranglemania type shit lol
I'd wager that the first-time cast members in Forever got less lucrative deals than the original cast for the first movie. The OG crew got back-end royalties from the box office/DVD sales, and there's no way the new ones got that.
It was either spike or Matt Tremaine who called him
Made them into celebrities? I don't remember any of them
Steve-o might actually be just as bad as Bert K when it comes to interrupting and talking more and over his guests lol
Don't have any recovering friends do you. Just how they are.
@@Agave310 not every recovering addict talks over someone they’re speaking with. Plus Bert is an addict and Steve-O’s been sober for like 14 years. Plenty of recovering/recovered addicts who’ve fried their brains and basically talk in slow motion

Kinda throws me off when he says "if it doesnt work, find new dreams. Dont give up.. isnt finding new dreams giving up on the old one?
I totally understand what you mean, but, for a twist of positivity, frame the reality as that particular dream coming to an end by the realization that you've taken whatever it may be, as far as you can. Acceptance doesn't have to imply failure. Self-awareness is important, albeit, seemingly quite rare. Learning to know our strengths, weaknesses and boundaries is just one of the many kickass aspects of life. Hope you're doing well!
