As a kid he had a well off family, but he wasn't getting that money or support in his teenage or early adult years lol. He was bouncing from friends house to friends house for awhile and doing whatever to make money. Steve O was also broke for a part of his life too.

    • One reason why I kinda do hate when celebrities say things like you can became a millionaire from 10k, after that motivation speak he says many people try it and blow it. Like yeah that's the thing, people don't know where to put the 10k safely so it will grow fast and steady but celebrity status does grant for you to talk for free all day to people who knows business and if you end up trusting any of them you can take the an advice on what is the best route. Also another part of becoming a celeb for example today is that fighters, actors or musical artist doesn't get paid the sameway they used to so all of that is kinda integral, to put money on housing markets and sh!t or they will be broke with many of them having crazy spending habits. Do your own whiskey or weed brand because your celebrity status will sell that and get you in rooms for further deals (or say a hot sauce gröhöm, altough I think Steve-O does make good money because he was kinda only one of them to really being able to integrate into youtube and podcasting worlds because he stood relevant).

If you see the "rockstar world" the ones who rock 24/7 are the ones who die young in horrible ways, and the ones who understand that it is actually a show business are the ones to make it to an old age. You can be the craziest rockstar in the world while on stage, but once the gig is over you go back to your family, your friends, your normal life and responsibilities. Is a job, and you don't have to kill yourself doing your job. I know a few mexican rockstars and when I worked with them personally I was surprised on how professional, mature and responsible most of them are, with the same problemas as me, with the same daily basics as me and even with the same lifestyle as me. Those are the ones who make it in this crazy industry.

  • This is the realest podcast I’ve heard in a while. We never know what anyone is going through especially celebs, they’re only human after all. People expect every celeb to be powerful gods with no feelings, worries and an endless amount of power. That mentality is the same reason why they wouldn’t last a second in their shoes. Being famous might seem fun but it is the hardest thing ever. It also doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t strive for your dreams but you must be realistic in order to make it. Know that you’re going to struggle almost all the time but also know that it’ll be worth it in the end!

  • A new cast seems corny imo. I think what they had with jackass was a thing of the times. It was very punk rock and it meshed well with the skating scene and rock bands. But now watching the new movie it felt like seeing that one group of friends in high school still doing stuff they did in high school. Like that’s cool and sweet but yikes. I’m always gonna have a soft spot for Steve O and the crew and keep up with them. But the new cast and seems lame and always felt like it was a force reaction in the movie.

  • I'd wager that the first-time cast members in Forever got less lucrative deals than the original cast for the first movie. The OG crew got back-end royalties from the box office/DVD sales, and there's no way the new ones got that.

Acceptance doesn't have to imply failure. Self-awareness is important, albeit, seemingly quite rare. Learning to know our strengths, weaknesses and boundaries is just one of the many kickass aspects of life. Hope you're doing well!
