To be completely honest with you, hearing that scream SPECIFICALLY in this game gives me chills. What doesn't give me chills however, is frag grenades sending people flying into the air, grenades can't do that. Artillery? I guess if it doesn't blow you to pieces then yeah.

As neat as gore is in games, because we’re talking about Frostbite, chances are that shit would fuck something up. DICE’s signature engine isn’t exactly airtight, unfortunately.

I DO understand why dismemberment isn't in Battlefield games though, it would defeat the purpose of the Medic class, you can't "revive" someone that has their head half blown off and spewing blood everywhere. Although it would have been cool to see it in BF1 and V, World War 1 was brutal, and World War 2 was even worse. It's not like you get shot in the heart and you can get back up and fight, you get shot in the heart and you're done for.
