Francis Ngannou stunned the world on his debut when he floored Fury last October, although the WBC heavyweight world champion ultimately won via split decision.
He is now set to face no other than Anthony Joshua! This 10-round heavyweight clash is slated to go ahead on Friday, March 8.
It is taking place on a Friday due to the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit also being held that weekend. The boxing action is once again scheduled to take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - the location for Joshua's win over Wallin, and Ngannou's defeat to Fury.

Whatever is said about Ngannou's Boxing ability, is based on referencing ONE Fight, beyond that it's speculative hyperbole, inferences, and people talking about how they want him to live up to a story they made up about his Boxing ability, which they based on his MMA success and his "legendary power"..... How "good", was his Boxing against what was, Fury's bad Boxing, really....? Ngannou has been doing a lot of "heavy" training for the AJ bout, he's carrying a massive amount of Muscle, AJ has been moving more fluently faster in training......
I don't get it. He does cardio and light weight almost exclusively, training all the time and he's gaining weight looking more like a smooth Bodybuilder

I see AJ outboxing Ngannou and Ngannou frustrated by AJs boxing skill and ring mastery. As much as AJ is a heavy hitter I see the win by KO less likely. Of course Ngannou could win by a chance KO but it would be through AJ making a mistake; as big and strong and talented as Ngannou is you can’t ignore AJs either nor his knowledge and experience in the boxing ring.
