Азаматсыңар!
Not a Chelsea supporter here, but Hasselbaink has to be one of the most underrated strikers in Europe during his time. He was so clinical and scored double digits on a regular basis, and not to mention many of his goals were screamers and decisive in nature as well. He is also one of the few Chelsea No. 9s to have been massively successful in the last 20 years alongside Drogba and Costa, and that says a lot about his ability!
Just loved his attitude. The man loved to score and if you didn't pass him the ball when he was in a better position he would let you know about it!
Anelka was gr8 too
When he hit a ball ...it was truly slapped .... (Not A chelsea fan either)
Facts!!
dddd
I love how Lampard is either kissing him or hugging him whenever he scores
Weird
Is he supposed to wink?
@@ThatGuy-tx4vm No they suppose to make out
He was pure raw power, I'm a Real Madrid fan and I still remember when he scored two goals against us on Bernabeu back in 98-99, one of my favourite strikers of all time
Да 1-3 проиграли. Но Атлетико умудрился вылететь с Высшего дивизиона
Such a talent.... I actually think he was massively underrated
Jimmy was certainly not underrated in the PL. Just that social Media was not what it is today. Jimmy was the real deal. He makes Timo Werner Look like a welfare case
He was a bit. He was around the same time as Henry and Van Nistelrooy who overshadowed him. But JFH was class in his own right
Arsenal fan here, JFH was one the greatest number number 9's on this planet truly underrated legend.

Hahaha)))))
Being a Spurs fan I was never a fan of Chelsea players but you couldn't help but like Hasslebaink. Played with a smile, struck a ball so hard and clean, good finisher and professional. I would say a very underrated striker whereas others got more plaundits
Including his time with Leeds and Middlesbrough, I didn’t realise that Hasselbaink scored so many goals against Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool, including highlight reel screamers against all of them, so he often delivered in the bigger games as well.
He’s up there with Ramires for some of the most underrated Chelsea legends. It’s a shame he didn’t win a title with Chelsea. If him and Zola stayed for the 2004/05 season we would’ve gone unbeaten.
Plastic fan👏👏👎
As a Liverpool fan I loved JFH what a player wish we had him. edit... Totally underrated.
Oh how I would love to see Jimmy in his prime in our current team, 30 plus goals a season easy. My favourite chelsea striker him luca and Didier
I fell in love with Chelsea because of him. Top top player
Same here!!
Him and Zola, a match made in heaven!
Same with me 🙌🏾🙌🏾
what a player. word class striker, Happy Birthday Jimmy
J.F.H was my favourite those times... Now 40 years old I miss those days!
I envy frank lampard. to play along both legend forward. hasselbaink and Drogba.
And Zola too
man utd fan here. my favourite chelsea player. he was so underrated. he had a rage and passion for football.
I remember watching jimmy as a young kid. A Chelsea legend.
Him and drogba are need right now we had monster strikers but now lol
Arn Montu true
Clowns like morata
Back when we could draw legends/greats to our club
@@stardust4001 morata could have probably turned it around if it weren't for people like you. Look at him now, beating Liverpool in the champions league.
@@andrewquigley8938 That means nothing He just couldnt adapt do PL. He missed so many open nets, its just unbelievable.
So talented...he would have had a massive career for the Dutch national squad if he hadn't been paying in the same era as Kluivert, Makaay, van Nistelrooij and van Hooijdonk.
Almost spot on, but Van Hooijdonk never was anywhere near Hasselbaink's level.
Jimmy and Kluivert would’ve been some pair.
@@marciano5975 completely different players
Wow.. Amazing player... Thanks for this
I remember seeing him scoring a screamer for Leeds in 1997 against arsenal and thinking wow he looks a player. Was over the moon when Chelsea signed him
Our best No. 9 this century. All others were definitely cursed
With a more attacking minded coach Morata will be great imo, only 1 striker has ever scored +20 goals under Conte and that was Costa last year
Oh like Drogba?
R Fletcher And he played at 9.
Fearless and gifted.. The kind of player you go to war with
I'm Boavista supporter from Portugal Hasselbaink played a extraordinary football on BOAVISTA
I'm a Utd fan and was at that game and even I celebrated that goal, best goal I've personally seen at OT to this day, what a player, would have loved him at Utd
One of the most underrated strikers in the EPL era. The hat tricks against Wolves in 04 and Spurs two years earlier will live long in the memory. "Its one thing knowing what's coming ... it's one thing altogether doing something about it". Brilliant.
He could bang them in from any angle!!! Truly magnificent player.
Get you a friend like (15)Mario Melchiot 2:56 he is always there to celebrate Hasselbaink's goals
Got top scorer in prem twice and one of those times was when he playes for Leeds. This guy was a real baller, an underrated one for sure.
That charming smile 😁
You know what...i think martin Tyler makes a goal even better
Disagree, extremely boring commentator.

happy birthday 👑⚽🎂🎉
Truly high class
What a player! Remember all these goals from my old footy videos
One of my favourite strikers growing up. He could put it away couldn’t he. Lethal
Imagine, if Gullit played at the World cup 1994, if Jimmy played at the quarterfinal of the World Cup against Brazil, and the quarterfinal of Euro 2000 vs Italy. What if Nistelrooy played at the World Cup Final in 2010? These are just thoughts of a Netherlands lover
Quarterfinals 1998 against Argentina not Brazil & Quarterfinals 2000 against Yugoslavia not italy
Yes I meant semi-finals
That header was more than brilliant 🤯🤯🤯
I absolutely loved Jimmy for us 💙
Here as a man united fan, what a legend
Jimmy is a very very good player i hope that he wil be a icon in fifs 22
Same here 5* 3*
His combination with Gudjohnson was absolutely bang!
I loved this period of Chelsea. Loved watching JFH, Zola, Gudjohnsen and co. Didn't matter that it was 3am here in Australia.
Destructive forward. What a player. Surinams finest
Legend has it that lampard was the first to hug him after he scored most goals
Fantastic!
Happy birthday
Incredible!!!
That's why I support chelsea it's a fantastic team with legends.
I watch clip when he plays for atletico and scores 2 goals in madrid derby...what a beast
Sadly he didn't got a real chance to prove himeself in the Dutch national team. To much good Dutch strikers at that time; Dennis Bergkamp, Ruud van Nistelrooij, Patrick Kluivert, Roy Makaay and Pierre van Hooijdonk.
He was better than van Hooijdonk. Maybe equal to Roy Makaay in some their eyes (I'd say also better). He deserved a real chance, but times we're different back then.
The man had style and attitude, may not be the highest rated footballer but till this day his world class in my book
Omg almost all goals are screamers!!!
Junaid Hussain Well its top 10 so had to be .Duh
Neptune not really, they could be good technical goals from close range or a team goal.
Junaid Hussain Hmm
No Hassel, you can Baink on Jimmy for goals
That is a bar
Happy birthday 😍😍😍😍
Man destroyed spurs with those goals🔥
Loving 😍
What a player HBD super star 💫
He was a great player and finisher
He needs to be added as a hero in EA FC! 3:45 the weirdest assist from Flo!
What a player Jimmy happy birthday.
Great wonderful player
absolute beast my second favorite striker of all time first being R9
Niggaz don't know bout R9. To me the greatest
Wish we had gave this guy another year so he could’ve won the premier league the guy was world class and that’s not even over exaggerating 23 premier league goals in back to back seasons power pace finesse guy had everything a striker needed other than Drogba in 09/10 nobody has scored more epl goals in a season than Jimmy
That chip is gorgeous
Happy birthday Legend....
Boavista and Chelsea legend
He won epl top scorer twice unbelievable
I miss that team....enjoy and shock when goals happend sudeenly
we had hasseilbank we had drogba.. we had costa. now we have morata and giroud...!!
can't believe
Give morata time but giroud I can agree with
Now we have Tammy Abraham 🙌
Now we have Abraham & Giroud
@@reececameron5070 And Werner..sigh
He was such a good player for us and whenever he played you would be excited as he could hit a banger at any moment. I wish we had him now tbh. Werner will come good eventually
A hard man
Best ever
Love Chelsea
He was so great
Jimmy the legend
Wwoooow what a Goal Machine he was...He’s a bit like Drigba in my eyes 🔥 #TuesdayMotivation
Legend yang terlupakan
Quality Player
Legenddddd
My idol
He was so good 😌
This top 10 list is such an embarrassment and does complete injustice to the kind of goals Jimmy scored. He scored waaaaaaay better goals than this. What about that 30 yarder against Notts County? The 30 yard curling low shot against Spurs in his first season? The 30 yard low shot against Liverpool in his first season? The 25 yard curler into the top corner against West Ham in his first season? The bullet free kick against Blackburn in his 3rd season? The 2nd goal from a tight angle against Everton in a 4-1 cup match in his 3rd season when everyone expected a cross? I could go on and on.
That was Chelsea's golden age
Hasselbaink..... BANG!
One of the best hitters of the ball in his days, right foot, left foot no qualms
Today is my birthday as well😁
Superb hasselbaink !
The goal he scored vs Everton in 2003, that's how Jimmy made me became a Chelsea fan. (Sorry for my bad english)
Что мне в нем запомнилось , это как он бил пенальти без разбега в угол на технику , красота ❤
True class
I'm dutch, but he was so under estimated here, while he never played in the dutch league
He did... He played for AZ
I’m a bit late but he the reason was not just because we didn’t saw him play in the Netherlands. We also had Patrick Kluivert, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Roy Makaay as number 9. We had alot of very good strikers back then 😎
@@AS-hh5xt No reason not to select him.
damn what a player
He could curl like no other, with either foot
Spurs were experts in receiving his goals i can see... man, what a striker
What a Chelsea legend
He hit the ball with rage even at 1 meter from the goal line
2:45 legend!
I admire him
