  • I live in a coastal South Carolina tourist town. And tourists will wear the craziest t-shirts, so you become kinda immune to NSFW in your face on someone’s chest. Really don’t even notice the design nowadays… But I was at the grocery store this past Sunday and saw an older gentleman (in his 70’s?) in a t-shirt that said “Puck Futjn”…. I just giggled, complimented him and he said “my mom is up there (points up) either rollin’ her eyes or laughin’ her ass off! But she was Ukrainian so I’m pretty sure she’s lovin’ it!!” Coolest dude I met this summer.

He makes us laugh, even as we want to cry, given our understanding of the severity of what Putin is doing to the Ukraine, and also to his own people. 16 "Oligarchs' mysteriously dying? For example if a teacher says "The next kid to make a noise in this classroom gets expelled" and then doesn't follow through with it. Biden's response avoids falling into this trap without saying something too vague such as "Well, there would be consequences."

    • To be fair, this one got reuploaded because they mistakenly labelled some of the dates as being from 2023, leading to people making fun of Russell for time-travelling into the future to deliver us news. Not saying the constant reuse of the same material doesn't get old, but it's a slightly different case here.

  • At this point I have realized when Putin, or Russia, think that they have anything 'modern' or 'advanced' what they really mean is that it is modern and advanced for the 1990s... Sure, their T-14 is worrisome... ... if they had more than 4 functioning T-14s it'd be an issue... also... ... no tank is really worrisome in the face of an AC-130 with two F22 escorts... I'd mention the A-10 but our Airforce has just retired them without a replacement so thats great... fucking near a trillion dollars a year on our military budget and they are retiring the most reliable close air-ground support aircraft in the world without a replacement that is better in any way at all...

    • The A-10 is not a reliable platform, and it's retirement should've happened years ago. And besides, the T-14 poses no worry at all, even if they had hundreds it's a shite tank anyway
