Batman: Arkham Origins - TV Spot

Batman: Arkham Origins lets players experience Batman's transformation from an unrefined vigilante into the Dark Knight. Bruce Wayne's journey to become a crime fighter and his steadfast morality began much earlier in his life, formed by tragedy, dedication, and honor. As you'll see in this latest trailer, his quest was anything but easy.
Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City's most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, witness identities being formed and key relationships being forged.

But since it's in a relative frame of reference how do we know we fall at all? So it all boils down to whether or not falling actually exists because remember, our thoughts make reality. The universe presents us with something, for example energy, and we ultimately decide what we want to perceive it as.

  • Batman may not be a real person, but his symbol still stays true. Anyone can be him, but not in a literal sense. He represents humans surpassing the limits they set up for themselves. Batman symbolizes anyone who is willing to break their limits and achieve their ultimate potential. We may never be vigilantes that fight crime, but we can always be better. That is the meaning of the symbol

    @bigboi9767@bigboi97672 жыл бұрын
    • Indeed Batman is the personification of perserverance, he also symbolizes human natures response to tragedies and suffering in life. He also teaches us that no matter how much money we have or how much succes we have, our wounds will always leave a scar we can not erase. He teaches how meaningless money, fame and achievments by itself is compared to our loved ones.

    • SoulRippster You mean the countryside man with obvious super powers, but also with the highest esteem for mankind, despite conquering this world would be "too easy" for him? Yeah, I guess palying "Injustice: God Among Us" is just enough to understand Superman... I love Bruce's personal journey to become the Batman, I really do. It's trully inspirational and amazing, really. But if you say that it's easier to relate to a billionaire bodybuilder polymath overachiever, master in almost every fighting style on the planet in his 30's, that is never wrong about anything or anyone, rather than an humble alien who constantly struggles in a daily basis about what he should and shouldn't do with his powers, I really don't understand people these days.

      @duffboy502@duffboy5029 жыл бұрын
    • duffboy502 What I'm saying is that at the end of the day is easier to relate to a human than an indestructible God that likes to help out because he feels like it. If it's easy to destroy as you say, it's easy to rescue from time to time, probabilistically much less risk involved, although I'm aware we're all talking about fictional characters here.

      @SoulRippster@SoulRippster9 жыл бұрын
    • Of course we are. I just don't think it's fair that people nowadays see superman as a dull,easily corrupt,virtually indestructible god that cannot be related to. They see what he can do, but not his personal struggle and his many vulnerabilities . He is a farmboy with all the cheesy american values at heart (or at least,is supposed tobe protrayed as). He is inclined to rule the world in the same manner Batman is to allow killing in his M.O and becoming a maniac. And of course,due to character popularity,the latter would never occur. But hey,thank you for lending your time to discuss superman in a batman video with me.Just made my day :)

For over seven years I was a soldier in the U.S. Army in this simple comment I can not explain what I have experienced but seeing a trailer like this brings a lot of emotion out. Going through hell and back to find a cheating ex wife and still pushing on through the fight. Every moment of my life I still think of her and the worst of afghan, and still pushing for what is right. Batman maybe just a comic book character, but his mythology reflects all those who put themselves in the line of fire and those that gave up everything. Its all still with me cause I will never forget.

  • This trailer is a masterpiece. It is bc it conveys so much emotion and information in a succinct 30 second video without words. And its very symbolic. It starts with bruce wayne happy and then the gunshot of his parents being killed as his expression changes. Then the gunshot again introduced a new frame of bruce attending his parents' funeral with a stare of "why?" And anger welling up inside him. Next is the junior high fight. All of the shock and frustration of his parents muder has caught up with him in his early teenage years. Hes a fighter. Next is him being bullied or pushed around. This foreshadows the strength of his enemies when he becomes batman. Next is his training. Hes a learner. Take note that hes looking deeply into the camera all these frames with a transforming expression across the frames. Finally, he is punched by bane. This shows is where bruce the kid in junior high and batman meet. Hes hit and he comes back with a retaliatory blow. This shows not only that hell never stop fighting, but that hes applying what hes learned. The trailer begins with the death of his parents, and ends with the full circle effect of this event that took place in his childhood. Hes giving back everything hes taken through the years tenfold by punching bane back. The final part is the song describing his current state. All of the rage, confusion, frustration, bitterness and questions still haunt him in maturity. But hes fighting so no one has to experience what he did as a child. Batman's a badass.

Batman's journey as young Bruce Wayne, who's parents were murdered by a thug, his training under Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Assassins, and the beginning to the Caped Crusader and the Dark Knight we know now. Batman gives and shows us what really tragedy and fear means. This is one of the reason why Batman is one of the respected superhero of all time. • No, combat wasn't as good as AC, because they added shock gloves, that completely wiped off the need to fight each enemy differently. And remember Arkham Asylum: combat was soooo good, that it seemed perfect and they could not add anything that would improve it, but you know what? AC just exploded my mind with so many cool new features! Besides, they changed the map and the way that you were travelling through it. They added crazy amount of new (to the game) characters. The map had a unique design in different parts of the map ( for example: steel mill, police department, church) and was filled with easter eggs. Story was brilliant ( well, yes, it wasn't as dynamic as Arkham asylum, because of the open world). Voice cast was even better than in the first game, because of the new characters. Then, AO came out. New graphics ( AC had good graphics, and I was happy with that), new voice cast ( not as good as AC), new characters ( deathstroke's execution was awful), the only feature they added is new detective mode, half of the map is from AC, not to mention the emptiness of the other part. And no, they didn't make Arkham Origins because they "care". They made it because they wanted more money from this franchise. Whoosh, sorry for my english, it's horrible...probably.

This one minute video are images of human condition. Many downs, but with his strenght, he keeps going, he never gives up, he struggles but he fights. He sacrifeces himself. Batman should not be seen as only a comic or a film, he must be seen as a human flag, a model. Batman means sacrifice for love. The goal that should belong to all mankind, to a great man and a great woman.

  • I believe this trailer shows why people love batman, it's hard to keep focus on a goal, and having that type of will is his power.

  • Both Batman Arkham Origins and God of War Ascension have three things in common 1. They’re considered the black sheep of their franchises 2. They criminally underrated 3. They got the best trailers

  • 0:26 you can see when the sword just scratches his face, and then when it jump cuts to Batman it looks like the scar is there, but really faded and un-noticeable. My eyes could be playing tricks on me... But it just shows Batman has a scar, emotionally and wont let go.

    • Watching in 2021, sometimes I watch some of these old game trailers or music videos from the 2012-2015 era. I was in Middle School then and I got my first Xbox and I have some really good memories from back then , sometimes it makes me cry. Enjoy the moments, they come and go fast and all you’ll have after are memories.

    • Morgan Freeman Yeah I've been really harsh to the game and to be fair, it's like Arkham City 2.5. It doesn't dare to do really original things, most of the bosses are copy/paste and stuff. But it's not a bad game. I wish it was less buggy.
