The nostalgia- I remember the bed update being REVOLUTIONARY and just running around looking at flowers

Usually when I see videos like this, the builders don’t put too much effort into the first few versions, probably to highlight how much was limited back then or save their energy to go ham on the later versions, but it’s really nice to see someone put in the full effort on the first version, and try just as hard as they usually would doing any build. imo that makes it clearer to see what specifically was limited, since the level of effort and creativity was the same throughout. And you guys did a nice job on the build, it helped give me some ideas for my next build 👍🏼

Back in 2018 or so all you saw were modded builds and I got discouraged because my pc can't handle the mods that were popular at the time. I'm so grateful people like you have expanded on what great vanilla builds look like! ❤

Watching this has made me realize how simple Minecraft used to be, and how much there is now. Ah, brings back memories. I feel old.
I honestly cried a bit when I saw the notification. I just got the vaccine yesterday and my whole body hurts. (The vaccine is worth it but I still feel sick) I can always count on Joel to create a video that will always make me feel better and won’t include screaming to give me a headache. Thank you for getting me through the day.
Plenty of fluids, some advil/tylenol if you can, get some rest and you should be okay tomorrow. At least that's what I've been told. I'm hoping they're right because my second shot is today.

When I saw the mossy stone I realized this wasn't really the first version of Minecraft but version 1.1 after the "official release" lol Maybe at some point you could revisit this idea but start in the beta versions? Would be even more exciting because of the limitations. (Or maybe even alpha versions)
