Photos taken April 12-13 at the Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary in Belize. There were many, many great birds that we saw while we were there, but for me the highlight was seeing the Agami heron (thank you to our very knowledgeable and friendly guide, Leonard).
One of the slides is incorrectly marked: it says “Long-billed dowitchers” but is actually a photo of Stilt sandpipers.

Hi Andrew, Nice to hear from you. I hope you are well. Yes, it was like seeing old friends. Not only the herons and egrets, but we saw American coots, a belted kingfisher, some familiar orioles, and more! It was fun!
