  • This was perfect as a vanity desk for me. kzhead.infoUgkxMAlHv7-BBWMrPRm5-uEoD6rtdT7SG2Qr Especially the glossy finish. Easy to cleanI was looking for something that wasn't the traditional white and with more of a modern feel. This fit the bill beautifully. I put it together with no problems, by myself in under an hour.Make sure you double check where you place the drawer tracks before screwing down. I had one track that needed to be aligned with different holes than the rest.

  • You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice kzhead.infoUgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lEb-a I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.

The occasional appearances by the Foreman and the Supervisor are adorably-perfect little moments so that they don't distract from you and your work. I also like how you are able to roll with the punches and correct uh-ohs on the fly; you are clever in that way. That out-feed table has GOT to be the fanciest one of those ever made! It could easily be someone's kitchen island. The hidey hole is perfect for hiding gifts and surprises from family. Great work. Great channel. Great human!

You've got a great sense of humor, and you make watching woodworking techniques I've studied and used for over 30 years actually entertaining, rather than feeling like junior high shop class the way 95% of woodworking DIY shows/channels do.

It was fantastic to see your son helping and this really reflected what our kids do too. The other thing we really appreciate is that you include the mistakes in your video cut. It would be easy to leave those out. But it is so important to see a professional like yourself leave them in and then talk about how to problem solve your way out of it. Awesome work mate, keep up the great work! You are doing so many things right when our four year old asks "Is there a new Bourbanmoth video out yet? He's so funny!"

  • Love that Harbor Freight table saw and the outfeed table is 101% perfect, the extra 1% being awarded for running those MDF strips across the length of the top. Obviously you designed that to give adequate support under the miter slots at the edge and bind together the seam in the subtop. It was nice of you to pretend to have made a mistake though. Makes the rest of us feel better.

    @andyjones6331@andyjones63312 жыл бұрын
    • Answer is that most miter saw blades deflect when you’re using them. Especially on a sliding miter saw when the slide is fully extended. When that happens you don’t get as accurate of a cut. Not really a problem in construction, but for fine woodworking…every millimeter matters. He’s using a Festool, which is like the Rolls Royce of woodworking tools…so he can get away with using his miter saw for accurate cutting. Most of us can’t afford them, so we use our table saws with sleds to get really accurate cuts.

      @JasonBreslow@JasonBreslow2 жыл бұрын
    • @@JasonBreslow Great explanation. Makes sense. But Most wood workers have table saws that cost $1000+. Sawstops, Laguna, etc, are all $3000+. They can likely afford a Festool or good Makita miter saw. But I get your explanation. Personally both my miter and table saw are both under 500 each. I personally love the miter with stops for multiple cuts. But I'm no wood worker. Just a pretty experienced garage worker. :)

  • very nice Outfeild table a little note onthe Salt in the Woodworking shop is that over the years more specifically since the decrease in Lead Paint chips the salt makes the WoodGlues and other Adhesives taste better of course IMO the lead paint chips had the best flavour
