Herbert's saga has been a story I have revisited over and over during the past 25 years. Your arrangements are incredible. Frankly, I prefer listening to these over the originals. As much as the Books, Film and TV adaptations continue to be a companion of mine though time; so too will these pieces of yours. For many years to come. I'm really happy that you included the high pitch percussion hits at 05:30 and afterwards! They are one of my favorite elements from the original track, even though I don't even know what instrument it was exactly. It sounds so epic though, something that sounds like a bell and an anvil at the same time

I have listened to many different versions of Kiss The Ring on piano and I have to say You, @KatherineCordova are by far The BEST! I only wish I could listen to that particular song on loop. Thank you for sharing your talent with us and for making beautiful and inspiring music. I love the piano. I started playing when I was 4 years old. No lessons. My first song was Little Drummer Boy. Over the years my ADD hindered my focus on playing. My music teacher in high school said I was a prodigy, but I lacked focus and discipline. I regret that now that I’m in my 50’s and partially deaf. Music is still the one thing I can’t live without and I fear one day I won’t be able to hear it anymore.. Keep playing, Katherine. I intend to enjoy your music for as long as I possibly can and live vicariously through you! Stay awesome! 😊

I haven't seen either movie, but I've listened to the soundtracks. I think A Time for Quiet Between the Storms is the best with an incredible build up throughout the song. Given that you cut it off at 2 minutes I didn't expect the other two to really pull through as well as they did. You have a way of putting them together that really elevates the songs. Really surpassed my expectations.
I considered playing A Time of Quiet Between the Storms in its entirety (or basically meshing it with Kiss the Ring) but as those songs have the same elements, it was too repetitive. I had to break it up with different chords and build from Only I Will Remain. I took a long time to decide how to go about this, but glad you enjoy the finished product!

The most amazing part of the soundtrack, is that Zimmer already had used this melody in the music "House Atreides" in the Dune (part one) sketchbook. I remember listening to these sounds back then like september 2021, now they became so epic in Part 2, and this arrangement is perfect!!
