    • You always have to consider, as a vfx or 3d artist, you always have a timeframe for your work, that you, yourself, determine. So you wanna leave yourself enough downtime. Especially when you're working on projects with a budget, then you always have in the back of your mind: "the longer I take, the lower my income per hour is". :)

  • You should try something similar again, the deep fake software has been improved so much since. I have been working on a project where I replace an actor's face in the entire movie with my own face and so far many scenes are so hilariously convincing with shadows and everything, though side profiles can still be an issue. I've spent like two months just extracting, masking (which can be also done via learning now) and most of all training the models, which actually can have resolution as high as 512 now, that is if you have loads of memory. In the latest DeepFaceLab version you can actually replace the entire head so you should definitely check that out.
