  • The first time this event came, I used Sylveon, but at the time I did not come prepared with anything, no EVs, held items, wasn't at level 100, etc. But now I can use these builds to farm Herba Mystica and beat the raid much easier.

  • Used flutter mane as well as a it's bit faster than the sylveon build. Forgot to do the picnic for dragon item drops initially. It's needed to cough up a little more drops than usual.

  • Wow, Charizard was so easy compared to some of the other 7*s we've faced. I never even had to terastallize to beat it with my standard raiding Fluttermane. I missed it the first go around, so I was very happy to see it was coming back again. Caught it in a sport ball in Violet and a fast ball in Scarlet.

  • Since I already have the Charizard, I built a support 'mon to help others get it. It's working out pretty well: Carbink with either ability (Sturdy HA possible, not necessary), Calm nature (+Sp. Def, -Atk), Leftovers as held item, EV spread: 252 Sp. Def + 252 HP + 4 Sp. atk Moves: - Moonblast - Light Screen - Misty Terrain - Rain Dance / Trick Room Strategy: T1: Defense Cheer T2: Light Screen T3: Misty Terrain (if there are no dragon attackers in your party) T4: Heal Cheer / Moonblast After this, keep up the Light Screen and/or Misty Terrain. Use Rain Dance when Charizard does its Sunny Day (note that Hurricane will have 100% accuracy, but that's better than amped up Fire Blast & Inferno). Heal cheer if needed, Moonblast as filler. No need to tera to make the best use of Carbink's typing.

  • The Sylveon build worked perfectly for me. I had previously tried a Dachsbun but it spammed Hurricane and I had to contend with the proc of Confusion. I alternated Fake Tears and Draining Kiss but didn't use Calm Mind until it used the one boost-reset. I KOed it with Draining Kiss.

  • I beat it by using Fluttermane with Mystical Fire x6, then Moonblast (Shell Bell held item) but it was a very narrow win. Thanks for the builds you covered. That will be much easier!

  • Flutter Matter is a beast in this, doesn't lose a lot of damage can calm mind enough to get good draining kiss damage and when you can tera do a moon blast and he's knocked out. thanks a lot!

  • I used Fezandipiti and it also worked, had to use 3 Acid Spray and spam Moonblast until its defeated, Calm Mind and Roost can be useful too

  • I caught mine in a Luxury ball and had 1 salty herba mystica drop with an ability capsule. I used the Flutter Mane build promoted in this video! Easy peasy! Thanks Osirus! My Charizard's nicckname is Goliath. 😊

  • Flutter Mane with Mystical fire instead of calm mind adds the same security as calm mind would, without getting you stats cleared, and it charges your tera orb faster. Its a pretty consistent farm in 9 turns with this same build stats as above just switching out calm mind.

    • That’s what I do as well. The only time I’ve seen the Charizard remove debuffs from itself was Turn 0 after Overheat. I felt more secure using Mystical Fire and just counting on the Sp. Def drops from Fake Tears for damage.

  • I beat it with a ev trained arceus in a matter of seconds. all it took was 3 acid sprays, one cheer and two to five judgments with the last one being terastlised into a stellar tera type. with the pixie plate of course.

  • My first time this event catching charizard, I use Hatterene, she is very strong along with the players, it wasn't very difficult at all, when I battle the tera raid. Like all my catch I use normal Pokeballs to make things easier.

  • Have violet and didn't want to respec my fluttermane. Used max SP ATT max speed fluttermane with choice specs mystic fire and moonblast. Fairy Tera. Mystic fired until I struggled myself to a knock out (charizard got paralyzed which is mainly why i took so many turns). Then spammed tera boosted moonblast. Probably not as consistent but worked well enough.

  • Arceus-pixie plate easily solos charizard (i won alot of solos with the set i use) The arceus i use is the solo build which is 252 in both hp and spatk, the moves acid spray,recover,calm mind and jusgement with the stellar tera. I just use 3 acid sprays then wait till it resets stats because setting up my calm minds. If played right itll take a few judgementa to take down charizard depending on how much time and calmminds ya set up but usually id get 4 or 5 of them and 2 tap charizard

    • Probably? If you’re rocking the Gallade, it does it in 10 turns, guaranteed. 2x mystical Fire 2x Swords Dance 2x Sacred Sword -> Shield Break Attack Cheer 1-2x Sacred Sword Sylveon, by comparison, has the capability to do it in 6 turns and is overall more straightforward

    • The Doggo can work great into this raid, honestly feel the flutter and Sylveon are a lot faster and more consistent as most of the Dachsbun solo builds rely on shell bell for the recovery so your a lot more at risk of those confusion secondary effects from Hurricane

  • Venesaur was a pain to defeat. Blastoise and charizard where easy lol. Sylveon tanked everything and healing up with draining kiss did good damage and fully healed again. He was yellow bar with a shield. 1 terastilized hyper beam and he was defeated lol

  • Idk what the chances are of this but my first charizard raid gave me 4 different herba mysticas!!!!! Never had that kind of luck. Sylveon solo’d pretty easy even with charizard never missing and getting a burn and confusion (I used life orb) so clearly a great strat!!

    • Correct. Just like any other 7-star tera raids, and the 5-star Walking Wake/Iron Leaves raids, you can only catch Charizard once per save file. If you caught it during the first go around, you can't catch a second one.

  • Looks like Fluttermane is a 10 turn KO on Charizard which is solid. HOWEVER - Iron Hands on Blastoise is 9 turns so if any of you have caught Charizard already and just want herba I’d stick with the turtle for now

  • Hello Osirus. I used the 8F glitch in my Pokémon Red, I used the glitch to make my Mew into a legal shiny. Thats not the end. Today I beated Red to be able to capture to Mewtwo and the Legendary Birds. I used the 8F ... And now im the owner of ALL THE SHINY KANTO LEGENDARIES WITH THE ORIGIN MARK (and without hacking). Thank you, Osirus, it may sound really dumb, but you and your stream chat encouraged me to do this really complicated and tedious process and it was completely worth it as a Pokémon fan. Thanks for all the support of you and your audience 💖💖💖
