  • The message was clearly sent. Haney, Shakur and whoever else better play it safe because Tank is just different. They don't comprehend why this kid is a proven all around fighter.     • Dude every one in boxing said rolly was up on the cards until he got knocked out. Pay attention and watch that fight again. Rolly just had a punchers chance but proved he was up on the cards. He doesn’t have good defense at all and would get caught with a knocked out punch vs any of the top 5 fighters at light weight

  • Good interview. On the flip side of getting into your opponents head. There was that time Michael Spinks corner purposely got into Mike Tyson's head by delaying the fight. I remember seeing Tyson run down the isle ahead of his corner camp, toss off the towel, and jump in the ring....That had the opposite desired effect Spinks was looking for.

I remember saying to one of the other Guys “I need more carbs”…He said “no you need more water…you’re dehydrated” I was like hmmmm. I guess that’s possible. And from the next day forward, I drank more water and than always ran stronger and further.

  • It’s crazy how fighters don’t learn these things till mid to late in their career. For a man who’s longevity took him past GENERATIONS of fighters he for sure looks healthy and strong. Most fighters lose it after because of they killed themselves

  • Ryan skipped his last fight to prepare for this one so I have a feeling that he got used to this weight since last year. IMO Oscar and Bernard knew that Ryan had to start preparing for rehydration clauses earlier so by skipping a fight that tells me that Ryan is going in unbothered by the weight. It’s also my opinion that rehydration clauses need to be eliminated because it does endanger the fighters health. Great fight for boxing!

    • Rehydration clauses are put in place for a reason. Its not to put the fighters in danger, its to make sure they stay in their weight class. Fyi, they both have the clause on them not just ryan.
