After my dad's funeral, my brother-in-law said my wife would inherit the $3 million inheritance.
@Revenge_Recall
After my dad's funeral, when everyone was talking about who gets what from his money and stocks, my brother-in-law, who's married to my sister Kelly, suddenly said that all of it, including $5 million, should go to Kelly, the oldest sibling.

How greedly and selfish some people are
The brother in law showed his true colours. And surprised the father didn’t include the half sister with a small inheritance. She was greedy and profligate, but he had raised her as his daughter. And these two were so grasping, they didn’t even hide their greed and callousness.
30 years after our parents died my brother is still accusing me of stealing things from my parents home. I live in a different country but he still thinks I put huge items in my one suitcase to take from their home that he had been removing things for days before I got the that country.
Why do they have a female voice for the story.... it's supposed to be the son telling it.
Maybe 'he' is a man in transition and already had his balls removed.
Well his mother was named John.
@@alisonponce8337 Like a boy named Sue.
Yeah, I had a hard time following it.
It's really annoying when they do that and when showing all different people when talking about a couple. 🤬 She really thought she was the HAIR though. 😂
That's it , I'm leaving my wourldly goods to a home for unwed cats
😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
You are so right on that.
Good choice 😃😃😃
🤣
Nothing screams quality production like using an automated woman’s voice to be the male narrator.
Thank you!
And pronounces words wrong as well as stopping or starting conversation when you are or are not supposed to. There’s only a couple of minutes left. I’ve gone this far. Might as well suck it up and drive on.
@@user-vm5ud4xw6n Exactly. I think I just heard "edible granddaughter".
The people doing these "stories" are from countries that are mostly non-English speaking.
My Advice is have a will dictating everything you plan to leave your belongings to!! I did my uncle's estate thinking my sister had talked to him about all his assets and seeing his will beforehand! He passes away ,So someone stole the will apparently. No will, no idea of the total of his assets. He did not have a lot of stuff . I spent 8 months tracking everything down . Finally was able to close the estate down 7 years and 3 months later! I would not wish what we went trough on anyone
I would expect the man's wife would be the primary Heir. Of course, it ultimately depends on what is in the Will.
I don't know what country this supposedly took place in ... but that's not how inheritances work. It's based on the will, and if there's no will, then it's distributed among ALL the family, not just the eldest, and not above the spouse.
Um.. But in the story there is a will. Its c,early mentioned. Plus the one daughter wasn't adopted
Oh and legally you don't have to inherit if you don't want to
Depends on nation, but oldest male child is the traditional no will option in most places, but not the current legal default.
Laws change from country to country, however, I can tell you that in Australia, regardless of what is stated in a will, it can be challenged in court and the judge may rule a variance on the contents of the will.
This is not the 1921 f00l 😅 u Just had to add some irrelevant crap @@sjmcc13
Why is it that people make a will and then somebody in the family says , oh no they didn't mean it to go that way! We know what they really wanted! It should go this way! They show no respect for the dead!
That's why some wills go "I (insert person's ful name here) Being of sound, heart, and mind, hereby request the affairs of my state to be incontestably implemented as follows" and then some people go "What do you mean "incontestable" Meaning The deceased said what they said how they wanted the will to go and that's that!
Why didn’t everything go to the man’s widow? Crazy!
I’m no lawyer, but I’m pretty sure something like this wouldn’t bypass the spouse and go straight to the kids. Adults or not.
Duh😅
Not true in Louisiana if there is no will the property and money goes to the children not the spouse
Every state is different. My parents had both a trust and a will. My mom had everything till she passed. I was the executrix and my brother and I didn't split stuff exactly as specified. A lot was antique furniture and I had no room in my house and rather my brother and his wife rather than selling the pieces. I took what I wanted, he took what he wanted and the rest we sold or donated.
It can if the will is changed. Nothing verbal. Has to be written down.
@@garys1216that’s not true in Louisiana , unless it was property he had before the marriage
I'm so tired of people thinking they are entitled
Narcissistic 😅
Or Borderline Personality Dx? Thanks. ;)
The video title says $3 million, the narration says $5 mil. Was anybody lucid in this narration?
Also, he said he had 2 kids. Then it ended up being just the one daughter. Fake af. not to mention the syntax and grammar.
Absolutely. Sonds bullsheet, it's fake.
When my husband died 8 years ago,I have 1 child and I got everything. Just saying. I also had a probate lawyer.
I'd have to give her something, THE HOSPITAL BILL
NO body gets anything until the momma dies. What kind of family does this? 😡
Unfortunately, mine. Brother wants to keep my deceased brother's share. Fortunately, the will mom made says shares are per stirpes, so my niece will get her dad's share. Thank you, Jesus.
the clickbait kind that is made up for you tube
My husband’s
This was stupid, but I listened anyway waste of my time.
Based on other stories I've read or heard, someone who wants their natural children to have something, because they don't trust their spouse not to leave it all to the steps/halves.
These words are inconprehensible . Who talking about who. ? This is the worst narrative I have ever heard and noone notices that sister and brother in law are attempting murder of mom and brother. And mom is gullible
I think it’s an AI narration of a badly written middle schooler’s fictional essay.
The bot needs more pronunciation lessons.
Nice story in that there was no divorce. It also was more suspenseful, making it more interesting.
The more I hear . The more confusing this story gets.
If you have money consider passing it on before your dirt nap. Americans have some bizarre customs. If you ensure your wishes are done while you are alive to give orders you can enjoy seeing the good your choices do.
It would have been better for a male voice in this video, and the images seemed to be totally disconnected from the story. Don't waste your time here.
I was hoping someone would tell the end so I didn’t waste any more time.
People can add beneficiaries (familial and/or non-familial) as they see fit. This can be done independently of a will.
Anyone enjoying the laughter and how Harry is so happy with his son? Wonderful !!
So, was this story written by a kid for a Jr High contest? I don't think even Lifetime would run with a story this so full of plot holes. Keep trying, young writer.
That's the way of it... All my life I took care of both sides of my family... All I ever got was I have a family myself...now both are paying with the way they lived..now she is waiting on hers hand and foot
Sorry, but this is just a story they wrote. This is not true. When you have multimillion assets, there is different things you need to do to make sure that nobody gets taxed after death. Most of the assets are put in trust. Telling your daughter after he died she’s not getting anything is ridiculous. Raising her and separating her like that is very mean.she might not have gotten a whole lot but she should’ve gotten something. Besides, this all is a ruse anyways.
I’m the oldest so I get everything. What kind of logic is this?
Regency England logic.
My oldest brother did and said the same thing, when our mother passed away. She had no will.
Narcissistic 😅
Delusional.
DP's eldest brother took everything.
Just ungrateful greedy people.
Another bogus story - you tube is full of them.
HEIR is pronounced AIR
Not in England, and if anyone owns the pronunciation it is theme.
“theme”? .. i’m so sorry .. simply couldn’t resist .. _SORRY._ 🫣
Yes i _agree_ but if you begin to _REALLY_ pay attention, there are SOOO MANY mispronunciations etc! Maybe English isn’t the narrator’s first language? Sounds like someone reading words that they don’t completely recognize, so it comes out all wonky. Sorry i am a recovering digressor. Now i’ll have to start all over again. ANYWAY. When i realized that i was _straining_ towards my keyboard like every other sentence - “okay weird disembodied somehow monotonous yet friendly voice - *_YOU WIN.”🏆_* … _i mean, it’s ok to just simply _*_give up_*_ sometimes, right? Plus i am _*_too old_*_ for this 💩. RIGHT?!_ LOL. 🤟🏼🕊️
@@sjmcc13 But even in England it's not pronounced "hair."
@@lauriedavis400, it’s an AI voice, not an actual person.
That sounds like my sister and older brother. Even though my brother lived right behind my parents and my sister lived in the same town as my parents and I lived an hour away from my parents they were no where around to help my parents the last 3 years of their life. Now by them I didn't deserve any inherent. They were Peed off when they found out that my inherent went to my better half.
The story makes no sense. When my dad died, the entire state went to my mom. And it was up to her to write a will as to what she wanted to happen when she passed. Why would either of the children get money when the dad died at should’ve all went to the wife.
If the dad left no will, then the entire estate would go to the spouse. But if he left a will, it's not uncommon for a parent to leave something to the children as well.
The father's wife is first in line for estate.
If the wife is still alive, it all goes to the wife. Bogus.
In the United States, if there is no will, in some states, the wife gets half and the children split the other half equally.
@@user-iz6wg3ld2y So those states don't have "community property" laws?
Many states don't.
Exactly 😅
I'm in Canada & the wife gets anything left behind. There was never any fighting in my family when my parents died. They never had a large amt of money but my siblings had no reason to get angry with each other & I, for one, would never turn on my sibl8ngs for money. We are very close knit.
Ah, the narcissist sister. We all know such people, sadly.
Before you started this little story, mom would inherit everything (except for a few states) and would be the one to get it all. Nice try.
Not with a will f00l 😅
Ai doesn't read too well!
NO KIDDING!!!!
And it doesn’t write believable stories.
@@tonyb8132 Imagine! 4 years of college to be able to write this!
I am confused over this narration, I thought it was a girl , a sister ,telling the story until “ he “ was knocked over by the brother in law. How many siblings were there, there’s the bad sister and the good brother but was there more. The author should have set the scene better and given them names.
The story is being read by a female, or female voiced AI. But the narrator is named, ironically, John Watson. The son of the deceased.
@@bethenecampbell6463 if it was interesting, I would listen again ,but alas it wasn’t. I suppose being read by a girl you expect it to be about a girl .

Yeah, this is an old tale. The situation seems to bring out the worst in them, it shocked me to see my husband's siblings "true colors"
No, sister should really get some i mean come on, all that time? if they really felt so dang bad about it, maybe just tell her and give her an opportunity to change her ways? but alas, who cares. i will never give money to my children or to even someone who is hungry. They always bite the hand that feeds you. I'm just glad we have a President that actually knows where he's going when he's on stage. .... lawd.
The AI is mispronouncing ! I would say that with the brother in law it was possibly attempted murder ! I won’t go in depth but my mother loved jewelry and frequently enjoyed her rings by looking at her hands. One of my siblings in addition to with holding medical care even took the diamonds off her fingers including the antique ring from her grandmother and replaced it with cheap costume jewelry ! More than disgusting ! 😮😮😮
We lost our only brother little over a year ago & we are now with the task to settle the inheritance. He had no will. There is quite an cash amount & a still in o peration a technology company. The courts have taken over. Now it's a matter of time. We are 3 sisters as next of kin. Why do people think they live for ever ? Make a will even if you don't have anything to leave ,but make a Will. It's a heartbreaking situation. And the fact is that my sisters & l don't want anything. We have everything we ever wantet & more .It's probably going down as a Charitable Organization.
Who knows if this is true? It makes a good story of greed anyone can believe
That's what I'm wondering too. What country is this supposed to be happening in? The Will is all that matters around here......
Absolutely, everything goes to the mother,
How much is a mans life really worth after a life of work devotion loyalty 5 million dollars plus home car stocks bonds all which gets caught over spent sold bad mouthed and forgot.is it really worth being a man and killing yourself your entire life to give everything to a family who in the end forget every aspect of him faster than the will is read.i walked away after my father died with a few pictures and his most cherished items I let them bad mouth him spend his money and live in his home.its sickening

My parents divorced when my twin sister and I were 5. I have only seen our father 6 times since then. He remarried, and had a son 6 years later. He only started calling me about 5 years ago. We went to Reno to visit him, in an assisted living facility, and my half brother was SO HOSTILE to me. His ex-wife said he had a hard childhood, that our father was particularly hard on him, since Dad was military for life, and my half-brother was "soft". Our father died in March 2022, and this March, I received a letter from an attorney regarding the will, which named my half-brother the executor, and leaving me $1.00 from the $400K estate. I never expected to be in the will at all, he never gave us anything growing up, but to leave $1.00 is a slap in the face. Wish he had just forgot me in death like he did in life.
Seriously they could have waited to the man was cold before they start fighting over money

all will's I've heard read give everything to the spouse. the second part is for if both of the parents die at the same time THEN the rest goes on. Usually everything is owned by both sposes at the same time. The one that dies leaves it ALL to the other.
Ungrateful daughter and foolish husband. Both deserve nothing.
By law the inheritance would go to the wife
Only if there was no will. He left a will, so the law doesn't need to get involved in the asset distribution.

You have a computer reading this with a women's voice and saying she is the son and brother. How ridiculous, spend an extra dime and have the story read correctly. I guess I just hate the idea of computer/AI taking over jobs we can still do far better as humans. Although looking at the comments either no one noticed or when it was first posted they had a different voice. Too bad, good story line.
Now now! Don't forget pronouns. The voice is a they, them, it, high tech machine which hates Trump and thinks Let's go Brandon is running the USA.

Same bullshit as my brother the only boy gets it all and mom is doing it
It used to be that way years ago here in US because women weren't allowed to own anything, it would go to the oldest son if they had one. No matter it always went to the old st son, nephew or male person not the wife or females. Not w you know why women want to be an equal. Life experiences.
Really, women want to be equal, well how dare they! It only went to the oldest son or male in certain religions, or if there was a will that stated such, otherwise it did and still does go to the wife and then children. I think a little google research or cracking a book might help you out.
fanciful twaddle
So did they spend moms inheritance or not? When they took her to care for her. ?
This is why you should spend all your money while you’re alive and live your best life. Enjoy yourself. Vacation. Do bucket list things. Spend all your money on yourself and don’t leave money to anyone. They clearly tried to kill the brother and then mother. Dumb people!
It was will sold shit from young lady and man

OMG, what a made-up story if I ever heard one! Someone has taken a creative writing course and read too many romance novels!
Very poorly read. several mispronounced words, and I’m pissed that I listen to them all the way almost to the end because it stopped before the end
Stupid production. But when John was in the hospital and his sister grabbed him like that, if she was mine, she would've been flat on the floor wondering what fell on her. Same with the brother-in-law.
Well this is just a story!
What terrible siblings!

I thought it would be an interesting read however, it wasn't due to the narrator being a womans voice but talking about being the dead womans son. It was all messed up so i gave up. Don't pretend to be a male when you're obviously a female....some of these stories are hard enough as they are and the son? speaking was a female............weird. So long...........
That's the funniest story I've heard in a while
This would have been a good story, without A I or whatever spoke… inflection changes the interest of whoever is listening, I don’t think computers have emotions to be able to read like a human. Is so confusing in a lot of areas, correct the errors before you post.
