I know right. But she goes out like every weekend with her friends or mini vacations but she doesn’t film it. I don't think that the comment was being ignorant or invalidating, I think that the comment was encouraging the healthy behaviours she displayed in a response to a lot of people disacknowledged them, they weren't comment on what was going on outside of the video. Denying somebody's depression can be harmful but I don't think that this was the case, maybe OP didn't word themselves extensively enough.

She’s quite open on her podcast about her mental health, it’s not really a secret
Speculating about depression isnt as bad as you may think it is. Everyone acts like it’s bad to speculate and diagnose, until the person loses it, had a mental breakdown or hurts themselves, THEN everyone will regret not speaking up. I’d give anything to have people ask me if I’m okay and try to make sure I’m not lying or something, that’s what the comments are, it’s not hate or accusations, it’s all love and support. The real issue is people hyping up this depressed behaviour and calling her a relatable queen that hasn’t changed due to LA, which is extremely toxic to say considering this behaviour isn’t healthy and now she might feel be reluctant to change because she doesn’t want to be told she’s changed or isn’t relatable anymore which has happened to her many times. That’s just my opinion. I’d be way more uncomfortable being boxed in as a relatable person for being bored, sad, alone and self deprecating than I would be if people were worried about my obvious mental health issues that I’ve been open about countless times.

I love some of themes/topics of this video, namely, boredom and misinformation. It reminds me of some other themes I have been exploring lately from other creators. There is nothing wrong with being bored and it is okay to be bored sometimes. Supposedly (maybe check my facts here :) ) boredom inspires people and kick starts their creativity. Next time you are feeling bored, let yourself be bored. Just take in the moment and actually observe what is going on around you. Don't immediately just a device and start scrolling mindlessly. I didn't get a smart phone until 2021 (I think it was sometime in March) and I only got it because it was actually starting to make tasks in my life harder without it for a number of reasons. I started finding myself picking up my phone in almost every situation when I was doing nothing. Even if I was just standing in line at a store for a minute. It hasn't even been a year and I already find myself reaching for my phone in almost every situation where I am not doing something where I used to have no problem just sitting with my thoughts. It is a little scary how fast that happened.

Emma you should try doing a closet clean out video! Or you could do a video styling clothes in your closet that you have never worn/haven't worn in awhile. You could also make a vid about how you put together an outfit/what your thought process is. You could also make a video around what you'd wear for different occasions (grocery run, brunch, coffee date, movie date, going shopping, having a picnic, etc.). You could take that idea and make it more crazy/niche/specific (make an outfit for oddly specific events) like make an outfit for going to brunch with Harry styles, an outfit for the grocery store when you run into someone from high school, or for a party on a yacht with lizzo, or for visiting a castle, etc.

Emma uses her filming day as a reason to take care of herself which may be true for many KZheadrs but she shows us the full scope of what she looks like and feels like most of the time. We love her for it bc we can relate, on an emotional level we all can relate to not feeling as good as we would like to most of the time. I honestly hope that we all together can find the answer to feeling good and inspired and excited ab life more of the time. Not excited ab huge events just excited ab being alive and little stuff that makes us happy. It's possible, we can do it.

No, the first part is what the comment were before this tiktoker explained how depressed and unhappy she clearly is and how wrong it was that people were hyping her up for being “relatable” when she’s clearly just not doing well. When someone’s relatable for bad things that harm people or themselves, it’s not good to feed that energy, even if we relate. You should say you relate and you hope she gets better, if that makes sense aha
