Nice video. I wouId ask you something, I'm interested in this monitor, so I went to read and see some reviews, and saw that some people found a slight ghosting issue in their tests. Could you please tell me if you encountered the same problem? :)
I did only use this monitor for a few hours but I honestly didn't have any issues with ghosting. Gameplay felt perfectly comfortable 👍
Is it good for fps like pubg steam or the 323cqr ?

Can you please comment on the hdr feature of this display. I know this is only VESA Display HDR 400 but still 550 nits with 3000:1 contrast ratio sounds pretty amazing. Also if you could tell about the Ray Tracing feature that we can see on the osd.

I just brought this monitor, let me tell you, everyones review on it just shows it with gaming and it does look amazing in games, however, to get windows right and the internet, it was a nightmare to configure, I very nearly sent it back, colours were washed out unless you go super bright and have indestructible eyes, at 165hz you only get 8bit which looked rubbish, so I set it to 144hz which gives you 10bit, if you goto 120hz then you get 12bit, I had a battle between my AMD driver configure app and the monitor OSD to get colours and brightness / contrast correct, saturation had to be increased to get nice colours and the colour temp had to be increased to 7200 to get the white balance correct.
I just got one. The light bleed on a black screen it terrible. Anyone else get this problem?

am planing on getting this monitor my only worry is am a graphic desinger and i don't know about the VA 500 net brighness
anything to do with colour id go ips personally
then again with you mentioning brightness only hdr tvs reach a real level of peak brightness needed for hdr, monitors still seem to be lagging there so if thats a priority perhaps use a hdr tv as your monitor my 2 cents
I hope one day MSI will make this Artymis a 49 inch 240hz 1ms monitor like G9 🙂

Since this monitor has only HDMI 2.0 and not 2.1, will it support the full refresh rate of 165Hz at the native UWQHD (3440 x 1440) resolution?

@@exoticcricket2550 Its great, so far I enjoy it and now I use it for my xbox seire x and steam deck. For the xbox it's not bad or doesn't seem stretch. The steam deck supports it really well too
@@charlielainez1148 I just bought this same one yesterday! Which cable would you recommend to get the desired 165Hz? Display Port to HDMI or Display Port to USB-C? Also can you overclock this monitor?
@@bazwav The xbox comes with hdmi and I use hdmi for my steam deck too
I have decided to buy an MSI full gaming setup, gaming laptop, gaming monitor, gaming pc with red theme as static light.
Kind of did the same and congrats. I actually have two setup. Guest/workstation Msi monitor (this one) Msi laptop (ge66 raider sfs rtx 2070 super) Jbl 5 speaker Steelseries mouse/mousepad and keyboard Astro a50 Red dragon gaming keypad Stream setup Viotek 240hz 27 inch monitor Viotek 200hz 30 inch monitor Razer mouse, mousepad, headset, keyboard, nomno pro, gaming keypad and headset stand (theres a lot of them). Msi dragon tiamat edition. The only thing I'm trying to change are the monitor since I want to change them to the msi esport edition for thr 27 inch monitors and replace the 30 inch one with the 30 inch msi esports monitor. After using this monitor, I can see why msi monitor are great.

the problem with Curved screens as i just discovered is that it messes with you F brain! now when i watch a Flat screen it looks bulged. Very annoying

Do not buy this for Ps5 it upscales 1080p for 120hz. It can’t do over 100hz 4K through hdmi
Strangely, not many monitors can achieve this. Most gaming monitors only really get 4K at 60Hz at most. It's a shame but the quality isn't the worst!
Worst thing is I was upgrading my 4K 60hz monitor. I’ll have to hope Sony allow 1140p soon
