Thank you for writing this book. Many men are having a difficult time to express their feelings. My father would say that men can’t be vulnerable- to toughen up and stuff our feelings. Stuffing our feelings creates more mental anguish to the point where it will damage our minds & relationships. We need to rewrite the traditional rules of what men are expected to be. I commend you on your cause to improve our world.

The work of men begins with pain! Acknowledge and make amends for the hurts we've caused ourselves and others. Strength does not come from suppression. Learn to self-regulate and shift from rationalizing to sensation. So many great insights in this Insights at the Edge episode. Rock on, Connor.
I bought your book man. But now that I see and hear you talk, I can totally relate to you on an entire new level. honestly I was having a little trouble staying focused . But that is my own ADD issues. LOL . Glad I saw this. Keep preaching it. Mental Health for Men is being talked about more and more now. And rightly so. Even us hard core "man's man" kinda dudes need to process our lives and our emotions to be better for ourself and for those who love us. Rock On Man.

33:18 I have had a difficult time accepting my feelings and myself and tend to label myself either gay or straight and then try to live up to that label yet all along I haven’t seen myself for a individual beyond the narrow way I feel is acceptable. Personal self confidence without the anger or extremes can be found without shame( i say don’t listen to the opinions and reactions of others). I think some people are narrow in their thinking. I see bullet proof people as weak, they’re hiding themselves because the have something to hide! For myself I have been distant from men, angry blaming and judgmental , as I was not honoring my own caring side. Many men or maybe just me were fragmented and incomplete disowning my own parts. I have hid things which people had called me, I was actually calling myself them( less than favorable traits) for so long I have believed them. But they are not true. I believe the negative bullying because I was not fully developed and maturated. As I come to share be less ashamed I feel more able to tackle life better and am less fearful.😊

The book mentioned raw models for men . Strong men i groups that can regulate emotions. I was thinking of fightclubs
So easy to love a man who is showing vulnerability actually, I struggle still to make my husband to open up since 7years 🤦🏼♀️
You may not be trustworthy. 'make' . This attitude is why. Forcing him shows it is all about you. You dont actually care, you just want to use him for selfish reasons.

Connor, look us in the eye ( aka the camera lens ). Your inability to look the audience in the eye is off putting.
He does on his videos, when discussing with someone it's natural to look at their video. What he has to do perhaps is arrange his screen below his camera.
