Etoo was arguably the best striker of his generation, no cap. He did it in Spain, Italy and England- the toughest and best leagues across the globe. He's a legend IMO!

@@LS6272 Henry was insane in the prem, but as soon as he stepped out in Barca he became a 7/10 player. Eto’o was arguably the best Striker in the world from 04-10 and was key in inters ucl and both of barcas. He even had a better shot to goal ratio in that was better than R9 in his prime 😱

The most incredible thing about is that after the third goal, Eto'o celebrated with a ball boy, who you can see at the top right on 3:52. That ball boy was Callum Hudson Odoi!

@@psychodictator8855 it's actually considered a privilege by many in academies if you get to be a ball boy for games. Raul, Tevez, Morata, Sneijder have all been ball boys at their respective academies

Etoo is the best African football player of all time. There should be no debate about this. No African player in the whole continent of africa, past or present can achieve what Samuel Etoo has achieved. The ballon d or is just a popularity contest. Etoo deserved that award in 2006 and even to 2010. The fact that luka modric can win it, tells me that. The ballon d Or is just a popularity contest, it is about favoritism, about who the higher ups like more. Even jose mourinho said he still does not understand why etoo never received that award. He even said etoo should have won that award, seeing all the great things he did on the football world, for country and clubs, with different world class clubs doing the impossible. I understand that george weah has won the ballon d or and some other fifa awards. people need to understand that etoo and george weah played in different times. etoo played in a time when football had more world class players, he played in a tougher era. George Weah learned how to play football in Cameroon, he played for a Club in Yaounde. Mention Etoo 's name everywhere around the world, and even grandmothers and grandfathers and kids will know who he is, mention george weah name and people will ask you to explain who he is. Samuel Etoo has won so many important trophies and awards for his country in africa and on the world stage which is fifa, that no player in the continent of africa is yet to achieve.
