After the update, I opened a lot of chests, I got a lot of legends and champions... as I understand it, no one will compensate us for what we have already received
Bro that happened to me a few months ago , when due to a glitch, level up chests stop giving champions ,i opened those and lost 7 champions or more as a result. Although they fixed it but it didn't matter because i just lost those precious champs.
And that is REALLY bad … spending money in a freemium game should make you feel good … If spending money gives you the bad feels, you will be less likely to spend money … which is VERY bad for business … They are just making some bad moves …

I feel like they are stress testing with CR "how much money then can earn with how many players". If it's a success I won't be suprised if they applied the same with other games.

I have been playing the game since 2016-2017. It used to be e really good, fun and competitive game. I am a free to play player, but have managed to max out 100 out of the 109 cards. Still remember when they added level 14 and I had to level up my cards all over again. Now... this is too much. I'm a working man and I'm not spending the next 2 years in order to have my cards maxed again. Having an almost maxed out acc and close to 10k gems as a free2play player is an achievement on its own. I am done however... I Don't see how I'm gonna be able to fit in after these new changes and stuff. This is just sad and I'm sorry, but I'm done
I am in the same boat, had 70 cards maxed, got 18-20 Royal Tournament wins regularly, but now it is just over. No more gems, no Maxed cards, overleveled opponents, it is just horrific.

In a good game the devs and the playersbase are supposed to be on the same side, working together to create a better experience. However in CR lately it feels like we are at war, the devs either ignoring or even now doing the opposite of what the community wants. It just feels like we are trying to talk and we are getting turds thrown at our faces by the devs while they steal our wallets.

Supercell actually did nerf progression for basically everyone except the wales, because in order to get back the baseline amount of elite wild cards they were aiming for, you would have need to have a full lvl14 account, but since many many players have rarely even one legendary on lvl 14 because of the book of books in the past and definitely not any champion maxed, it is literaly just a nerf to achivieng elite wild cards by a little more than 50%, this is RIDICILOUS. They either dont know how statistics work and get their "data" from there or they are just blatantly lying and ignoring the most important aspects.

I remember people spesking about how random the rates are for different rarities. Someone jokingly said to keep quiet or they'll just lower the amount you get. I guess they were right...
I haven't seen any other creator mention this either .. the Daily Deals for cards in the shop has ALSO increased in gold cost .. each rarity card has been doubled in cost .. so now you get less wild cards for more gold .. mind you this increase in gold cost in the shop was done on the initial update not this latest "maintenance" update
oh and Legend card daily deal use to cost 20k gold for 2k star points now it's 40k gold for 1.5k elite and 1k star points .. CR devs are killing our player base and one of their MOST important game modes is WAR .. what's War based on "forced" participation by clan members yet f2p clans are BLEEDING players and game loyalist are suffering 3rd-5th place finishes .. f2p progression isn't just killing the players but also clans .. the devs and executives are completely missing on the very point of what made this game so popular in the first place .. the social aspect of the game .. this is comment is coming from a former Clash Nights host!
Thank you for you upload and for reaching out to community. It is really sad. I was in game almost since start, also competed in one red bull world championship finals, got to know few pro players, I'm watching almost every esports tournament, really like the game and community. Really sad, but I have to admit that this is breaking point for me. Few days ago I deleted this game and was still expecting that devs will make situation better, that's why I am watching youtubers videos. But this... worse and worse and worse. And the saddest part is that supercell is top gaming company according to capital per employee rate (I suggest you to bring this data to subscribers also). They do have money, they do have amazing mobile esports game (with lots of opportunities to improve it and make long lasting), but... communities expectations buried.

I feel like this is could actually be an overall nerf. Commons, rares and epics are more likely to be found than legendaries and champions. Someone will probably analyze it further
Its not even only that, Free to play players are going to have less champions and legendaries maxed out than other rarities, so it's even rarer to get the cards they need from a pull
As a result of conversion changes, the cheapest you can get a card from 14 to 15 is now 500 k gold (shop value). They basically doubled the amount of commons and rares needed for upgrade, while epics are at 2.5× more than previously. Now you actually need luck for proggression (legendaries and champions), contradictory to what they wanted to achieve with ewc
It is a nerf. 100% and the fact that max has the ignorance to go on twitter and say straight up “this isnt a nerf or a buff” just proves how G.D stupid and oblivious they really are. I don’t understand how a game with so much potential, and soo many enthusiastic people in the community throwing out brilliant ideas for changes that would skyrocket this game into a new level of amazing, can go downhill every single day. Shit update after shit update with no recognition of their idiotic plays makes this even worse.. the sole fact that they think this doesn’t change progression proves how stupid they really are.
@@mattimeikalainen4075i wouldn’t call it luck, clash royale is a long term game so over the course of months and years the amount of legendaries and even champions is going to be averaged out. But like the original commenter said, it could very well be the case that this is an overall nerf to progression (obviously is for non maxed), but perhaps even for maxed players since legendarios and champions are such a small percentage of the cards we get.
We heard the community loud and clear .we did a mistake We're changing legendaries and epics back and keeping the rest nerfed to help balance f2p and spenders.
So glad to see Supercell listening to the community. I mean it would be nice if they actually agreed with the community, but listening and doing the exact opposite is a start.

Most of the wild cards I was getting were from commons, a giant chest could give me like 1.2k total, with 700 coming from commons. I dont get legendaries that much cause I dont buy the pass or shop offers anymore, so this update only benefits those who spend money imo. I am nearly fully level 14 and ive been playing for a long time, sad to see supercell destroying it with greed. I might quit soon and swap to boom arena tbh.

i read a comment on some video about level 15 saying they would only convert wild cards below legendary to ewcs, so that person got very lucky with this change they converted the ones that got decreased and didn't convert the ones that got increased
i started playing CR on its 5th anniversary update, back when mighty miner was added though it was past the game's prime, i actually had loads of fun, as well as fits of rage, playing this game. CR was perfect for killing time. CR was just a great mobile game but as i played more CR, rising from arena 1 to 15 (which was the top arena before PoL was added) i began to notice the cracks in the game, from the Pass Royale's immense value to spenders via pitting Lvl 14 cards against Lvl 10s, and Clan Wars being an absolute travesty to play for the same reason as well as several others, i began to understand why the people I'd known before left CR way before i even got into it i began to realize the extent of Supercell's immense greed when the phoenix and the monk were added. Supercell loves spenders and couldn't care less about the 98%; in other words, free to play players like me. i saw that i was deep into the downward spiral that were Clash Royale's monetization decisions and finally left the game for good when they nerfed the Rocket (since I was a BabyNate main deck enthusiast). even beforehand, the phonk update was unplayable to begin with and it totally cut off my playtime for about 70% before i stopped for good Boss, I know this is a lot to take in, but you've been a favorite CR KZheadr of mine because you're consistent, educational (in terms of gameplay) as well as entertaining, and I'm glad you're taking a stand against what Supercell has been doing against the majority of its playerbase despite you being under their creator program It just goes to show you care more about a game if you actually played it. Though I no longer care about the game, I'm glad you still do, and I hope for the best, though I have to be honest it won't be likely

I‘ve been very positive about this update despite being F2P for the past months, that‘s rare enough. But this change really doesn‘t make me happy even though I have all champions at level 14. Progression just became a lot slower…
Something to think about is how they got rid of the 300 gem awards from masteries last update and this one they make legendary kings chests the only ones to give actual value for ewcs, now it’s just straight up impossible to become maxed as a f2p and now they’re not even trying to hide it
it can also work (mabye) for F2P players which can consistently hit 10 wins in global tournaments and then i remembered they made the last level of the 2nd mastery give gold instead of gems...
For the casual f2p nearly all progression grins to a hault with heroes and lv14 already. Lv 15 and evolved cards might as well be in another universe. It could be decades at this rate before I approach a maxed deck either evos.
I mean, will these "bad changes" really change anything? Everyone's probably so addicted that they'll pay supercell twice the money anyway despite "quitting" before.
I am in a middle ground. Actually, as pure f2p, i have lv14 on : 3 legend, 12 epics. Player Lv 52, 8k out of 75k , and you unlock lv15 king tower at PLv55. Enemies at King 15 with lv14 cards are kinda hard to fight in war even without an evolution, imagine if they have evolved giant too. Good for us you can have only ONE evolved card.
I was kind of a hybrid, spend on pass and gems every now and again to get cards maxed, although not fully maxed on some legendary's. Now I am not spending another cent or even bothering to upgrade to 15

Idk how long im going to keep playing this game but im glad I didn’t use my excess cards for champions but I used all my common’s because I only have my commons fully max. I don’t like that you can’t use wild cards unless you’ve got them all maxed…some cards I genuinely have zero interest in using 😪

I have a feeling that a main contribution to the change of EWC conversion rates is the fact that in the old system, you could get the most bang for your buck from the lightning chests and now the new system forces players to buy the most expensive chest for the most ewc. Bad Faith argument ik but considering the past couple of months, I legitimately wouldn't even be surprised if that was a major factor for their decision

acording to the data, players where unboxing legendary kings chest to max out, in order to make the legendary kings chest have more value, the higher rarity cards are better and lower cards are worse to make the cheaper chest less valueble, we cant wait for your feedback
Worst thing is it makes it less skill on ladder because even a card tht get nerfed at level 15 will still destroy people even if playing a high skill deck interactions will be even worse for players with level 13 and 12 or even less it’s terrible

It's not surprising at this point. I've already accepted the fact that they're only here to monetize and will never do anything to improve the game if it doesn't give them instant micro transactions. All they're doing is killing the playerbase and longevity of the game. They could literally be making 10 times more money if they just made the game better instead of worse the past few years.

I've been playing consistently at level 13-14 since the champion update dropped f2p and j don't have a single champion maxed out. I also only have a handful of legendarys maxed

Yeah, the F2P playerbase is completely gone. For example, I was so close to maxing out my deck, which has mostly commons and epics, and the only legendary I have maxed is obviously the log and I don't have the bother to push 300-400 trophies just to UNLOCK champions. At this point the next thing they're going to do is releasing that 100x value offers that in reality aren't even worth the money
as a fully maxed top 1k and competitive league player Im evolving with the game together and leaving it with no regrets.
i am one of f2p players, and im still missing a few legendaries, all champions and like 4 months ago i didnt even have goblin drill (kinda skill issue) because of a bad matchmaking, it was ok yet because its not a big deal, you win some you lose some yet i struggled to upgrade a lot of cards. I have my account for 3 or 4 years and i still dont have everything unlocked, my most leveled card is knight and its only level 12 while in game i can see people with 13 king level and already having level 15 mega knight or e giant, or perhaps mirror which makes them level 16. It is not fun to play against that and it is still about the progression that came in this update, not the one that is coming. With this change, i may somehow get my knight maxed, but that wont get me anywhere. Having only one "maxed" card will never help me, especially when its common which will now give 1 elite wild card. This is a game of chances, it is not guaranteed that i will get knight from every chest and if it will be huge ammounts, not at all, it will even be a small chance. Another problem of f2p players is sometimes lack of motivation to play when there are too many overleveled people, which also slows progression like getting the books, champions etc. I am also not playing 24/7, i have stuff to do at home and the time i have left to play is sometimes not enough to get 35k tokens, heck if i know how many crowns and other stuff, and before i even max it, it will already take a year or two if not more since i aint spending money. I dont think chests will give me many champion cards, so it will also take me time to level them up. This change as you can tell literally needs you to have maxed legendaries and champions, and im barely maxing my knight. A COMMON KNIGHT. its already hard due to lack of good chests and rng part, so i dont think im getting any elite wild cards any time soon, but some people will keep spamming me with level 15 e giant with lvl 15 mirror. Totally balanced, not like e giants have already been pain to deal with, now they are overleveled, i wont progress through neither, leagues or trophy road which also barely support me with its rewards. As a non maxed f2p player all i can say is that just like the most people say, it is a disappointment. Shame cr. Shame.

This is actually a good update cuz gawd damn I keep getting champion chests and each time it gives me a champion I have that's already maxed. So this is a relief.
Stat-wise, it would actually make the most sense to keep rares and epics the same, but use the new value for legendaries, champions, and commons. Because yes, commons would still be the best value at 1. Would still feel bad for players that don't have maxed legendaries, but if their goal was to fix the scaling, at least we'd have drastically less people upset about it.

No this is actually a buff tho if you look at it in the right way for example you can trade legendaries for legendaries for 1500 wild cards and also do clan wars for legendaries and path of legends has champion wild cards and legendary wild cards and also season shop you can buy 3 legendary wild cards and you can get 4500 wild cards
If they literally just revert the changes to common rare and epic I’ll be happy. I’ll say as a casual player I’ve made my peace a long time ago I’d never be able to max out more than a few decks not to mention all of them. Its still disheartening when they occasionally have a perfect update feature like introducing masteries, or tripling gold volume from chests. Then the next chance they get they hit you over the head with lvl 15, and then take away gems from masteries which were the best f2p rewards in the game
I said this in a different video not to long ago but if you look at the BS team, the released lvl 11 and everyone was mad, the BS team then buffed progression everywhere even adding club league, then that made gears cheaper, than they made cosmetics more obtainable for F2P players and just made more changes to buff F2P players. CR made lvl 14 which was received badly, CR then released champions, which was alright but P2W since you had to be maxed, then the locked you in lower arenas for being under levelled, then they made lvl 15, now they made lvl 15 more P2W, I don’t play CR anymore and I haven’t played CR for 7 months so you don’t have to agree with me but this is just disappointing

I'm a free to play player and I just used my 10 legendary trading tokens I've saved up for a long time to trade for the few legendaries I have level 14 and only got 2,000 elite wild cards while if I would have waited for this update to trade I would have gotten 15,000. This is what is going to get me to delete the game.
Only way to try and fix this is if they increase the amount of normal cards you get. For example instead of getting 35 commons you get 45 or 50 or more This will make overall progression easier and it'll help upgrade cards to lvl 15 a bit faster
Why not increase the conversation rate? Idk they just don't want to increase it so that's my solution
The reason of these changes are if you opened lightning chests before the changes you would get more value than legendary king chests

I’ve been a F2P player since launch hit max 7500 trophies n loved hitting 2k on champions road through skill. Climbing the ladder and just being destroyed by a lvl 15 deck is miserable and genuinely every time it happens i want to uninstall. I will most likely never get a max card let alone deck soon and this problem will only get worse. WELL DONE SUPERCELL
i am so sad to see my favorite game looking like this. all i spent on this game was a few pass, like 4, and thats it. i only have 3 decks maxed. its impossible for me to get to lvl 15, and im constantly going against lvl15. after 7 years im quitting. ive been playing since the first day of clash royale, but thats it for me. it was a nice 7 years

Unfortunately, a number of people I've spoken to didn't even know all this was an issue. I think a large majority of the player base don't know or care which leaves Supercell in exactly the position they were hoping for
Its only speculation, but ive got way more elite wildcards than i should for only 8 lvl 14 cards, its feels like the chest are dropping them more that they should
I just don't get it, how are they always coming up with bad decisions? Level 15, evolutions locked behind the $100 offer, decreased the value of pass royale, removed gems from the final mastery tier and now this... I seriously don't understand how a company can screw up this badly. Give community what they want, making decisions that nobody asked for is not gonna get you more players supercell..
As someone who has been playing this game since release, I don't think I can ever return to this game. I have never spent a cent on the game and I'm glad that I haven't. After so many updates penalizing free to play players, I just can't anymore. I thought that the evolutions could redeem them, but they are just broken and frustrating to play against.
I’m honestly starting to love these rant style videos on clash royale. So hard to be interested in gameplay when the game is slowly dying bcuz of the incompetent devs
im a f2p player, 7 years and after the last upgrade discount i finally got all my cards to 14, i have 1 more legendary that i need 15 more to max - this game is all about the long game, this update makes no difference to me
So I used 11 Legendary tokens, which got me 2,200 wild cards pre-update, and now it would have got me 17,500...... Guess no compensation? What a stupid move, why couldnt this change have been implemented at the very start, if they had any common sense.

Even less chance for f2p players to max out. We can't even profit from the champion increases. Legendaries are by far too rare to compensate from rares, commons and epics in crown chests or higher. (Gold, silver give basically nothing)
Supercell is not going to fix every issue we don't like... they want the game to be almost endlessly playable to where you always feel like you have something to do and max players don't get tired of the game. Becoming a Maxed out payer should never be easy to do. In my opinion, i think we should prioritize them fixing pass royale before we let ALL of these updates that we don't like just pass us by. Do not let them think we're going to forget about what they did to our Pass Royale. Also do not think that they weren't listing to the community for some of these changes, the majority of players hated/complained about how overpowered the old pass royale was without ever purchasing more than 4 of them. Supercell will listen to the majority. However we now can clearly see that what the majority wants is not always good for the game.

i was going to play this game again but the pass royale update turned me away form the game and now i am 100% sure i will nerver play this game again !
i honestly could not believe that things could get worse than this... somehow they one upped themselves. congrats supercell i have deleted the game already and lost fait in the team behind all these updates.
And they’re secretly changing the wild cards, now when you get extra WC when you reached the storage limit, they keep adding it which means you need to max out all cards in order to convert WC into EWC. Before the update, you would be given random cards instead of more WC (can be those you have maxed) and you’ll get EWC. They just don’t care about F2P players and want to grab more money. To quote a joke from CN community (if you don’t know, the CN server is much worse and is basically dead now): “This update fixes the bug that some players haven’t quit the game yet” This is what they’re doing now.
im debating between firecracker or rg for my one evolution what should I pick, right now I'm playing the hog eq firecracker deck but I would switch if I pick the rg evolution
Ok, I've done the math Basically if you are buying from the gold shop, commons are still the better value, followed by rares while legendaries are now better value than epics which are now the worst value From the season shop, legendary wild cards are now the best value, followed by the Book of Rares, than rare wild cards, commons, common wild cards and at last still the Champion card
