@@catetanenbaum2418 I found that the conditioner gets distributed more evenly in my hair and it curls nicer after the shower. You can probably get away with any brush for the shower, I just find the denman works best for my curl pattern. I got a mix of 2c and 3a.

I have 3A hair and I love this brush! I can add leave-in conditioner and then comb my hair by basically separating it into 6-8 big chucks and combing through with this brush. I don't do sections that well, even, but the brush works wonders! I do a bottom layer, then the top layer and it's done. It looks so pretty when it's dry! I'm not very good with hair products and styling. This brush lets me accomplish something without hardly trying!

Literally finger combing saves you from so much breakage. Maybe that's why she, and other commenters, are experiencing the "endless knot glitch" and... it's bcos there's single and double strand knots/split ends that have snagged on otherwise unknotted hair.
