Amazing Mercedes Sprinter Minibus Campervan Conversion Time Lapse 9 Month Full Build

This video shows a complete time lapse of a conversion of a Mercedes Sprinter Treka minibus from a minibus in to a luxury campervan / motorhome. The conversion of the Sprinter minibus took over 12 months of weekend work to complete to the standard you see at the end of the video. The campervan conversion consisted of stripping the minibus down to the bare base chassis, protecting the chassis and rebuilding the camper van from the ground up. High end appliances and electrics have been installed throughout the conversion. To see the conversion and each job in greater detail, visit my channel where the conversion is uploaded by individual jobs. I hope you enjoy and please leave a comment on your thoughts of the campervan / motorhome conversion.

  • Amazing conversion. I watched this video in May 2023 and I have to admit that the MB Sprinter conversion still works great. Beautiful jpb.

    • Lightweight materials??... it's all wood, cabinetry, bulkheads, furniture, bed etc... how is that light weight. Don't get me wrong, I love the build, but I wouldn't say it was done with lightweight materials.

  • Found this channel by chance. What an amazing transformation. Loved every bit of the video from start to finish, the attention to detail from the beginning, stripping it down to the bare bones to get to the metalwork underneath to treat it with Waxoyl was impressive. I shall look forward to the rest of your videos.

  • Great job but I just have a question for people in general... I'm not necessarily picking on this build. When has it ever been comfortable to have a great big split down the middle of your bed? People build these convertible couches and are so proud of themselves when they flop them down - but then they end up with splits everywhere the cushions come together. It never fails that one person either falls into the pit or your hip lands in it- There is no way to get comfortable on these things. Usually the split isn't even in the middle on the longer couches, it's about a third of the way over which makes it even rougher to sleep for two people. At least in the middle you each get half but these things are ridiculous. In order to be comfortable you absolutely have to have a fairly thick mattress topper and where are you supposed to store that monster?

    @missychan63@missychan63 Жыл бұрын
    • No, not a Builder but, I saw in one Van where the Bed (Mattress) was stored Elevated near the ceiling, and mechanically lowered at night on the converted couch space: the converted couch was like a Box Spring: Impressive! It was the only one I'd seen built in that particular manner! MORE IMPRESSIVE I COULD DROP SOME KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THIS!!🤣🤣🤣 deb in MattressVille, SC⛱️ 08/08/2023🏝 * I'm in awe of people who can build these Vans: Beautiful and Talented!😊*

  • Wow alot of work alot of money very impressive I like the way you covered the windows I've never seen that in a build before but very creative. I thought you were going to partition the driver and passenger section from the living space for privacy at one stage but you prefer the open living look. Also i.likef the way you fitted the floor walls and ceiling with manageable cut out sections for each area very simple and systematic rather then bigger sections to cover as much as possible. I have considered vans then commuters then coasters but I think the Mercedes mini bus ike yours is the way to go. You need the width without the length of a full size bus as commuters and coasters are 3 seats across. But yours is 4 seats you need that extra space to walk down the isle and it gives you more design and better size options. Just a question what was the purpose of the red bottle attached under the chassis? .

    • KZhead has also made some other changes recently, maybe not for everyone yet, but it'll be coming to everyone soon. I always watch at least 30 seconds of the ads, because I was told that creators only get paid if you watch 30 seconds of the ad, and some ads are hours long. However, if you skipped the first ad, it wouldn't show the second ad. Now, if you skip the first ad, it goes to the second ad. Apparently, this hasn't happened for everyone yet, but it's coming to everyone soon. KZhead is removing and demonitizing creators left and right, especially some big channels, and those creators are going to other sites, like Rumble. KZhead is getting worse and worse.
