@@realmusicreallife as an owner the 4 AM dealers I have dealt with (including Nottingham) do go out of their way to help customers. That being said as Matt has hinted at though, parts prices for some parts are quite significant. The general bit being anything AM is pricey, Service parts are generally okay due to being mostly mercedes amg bits. Additionally, there tends to be lots of events to keep owners engaged with dealers throughout ownership - for example runs out locally or trips further away or just simply dropping by to nose at new models. I am 3 months into ownership of my Vantage, 3.5k miles covered, but already loving it. Test driven a dbx 707 and got another run out with other customers of said AM dealer I deal with.

Aston Martin have actually covered themselves in glory throughout this series, including allowing the filming. Well done AM.
Kudos to Aston Martin for actually allowing you to service the vehicle there. Pretty cool of them. Most manufacturers would simply say that the service doesn't apply to a rebuilt car.

Absolutely love Aston Martin. You've done an immaculate job on that car, which the service proved. Also well done to Aston Martin for encouraging people to work on their cars and helping them when needed. Some companies punish you by refusing to work on the car and then cutting them off the charging network.
I’ve been a mechanic for 25 years, seeing what you can do, and having the confidence to do it. Mat you can definitely call yourself a mechanic.🤙🛠

Exactly. Especially being a luxury brand like Aston. I would imagine those types of brands to be more picky with vehicles. This makes me want to go pick up an older Aston just because of how they treated him.
When you think about what Matt has done it’s actually incredible, fixed a completely smashed up Aston Martin and the only issues they found were with the tires!

I binged this series on a sick day and loved it. Gotta love Mat’s sense of when he can shortcut or fix a part and when he needs a genuine OEM replacement. That and his sheer determination to keep bangin’ on!

@@dave_s_vids servicing on fixed price is anywhere between 585 and 865. Just depends on age and mileage, but it gives an idea. Intervals are every 12 months or 10k. But hey all db11, dbs and vantage have 5 years free servicing, dbx and dbx707 are only 3 years.
I am rarely impressed with much, but you my friend were born for this. Not everyone is a true entertainer, but you have it, every time you say something "is mental" with your strong U.K accent you bring a smile to my face. The fact that you have a wide grin threw all of the video's hardships is amazing. Keep making these for KZhead they are awesome!
I think out of all the cars you've rebuilt, the Aston would be the one I'd take home. It's stunning and I'm not usually a fan of satin finishes but it just works on this car. Good job!

I've been following this channel since the BMW 1 and Audi TT mods and look how amazingly far this channel haar grown. This type of videos where the supercars get rebuild and are actually checked by the dealer are very satisfying to watch. Amazing work Matt, I'm curious where you will get this channel in a few years.

It doesn't need more power, it's got the looks, space and pace aplenty. So glad Mat stook to the stock wheels however, he does need to put it on MP4S tyres .... Makes all the difference.
