For everyone asking, no it isn't shaking like that inside the headset that's just the share screen view. It is smooth inside the headset and the graphics are even better than you're seeing!
I think that the shaking makes it feel faster and more intense
He was a bit overwhelmed I guess 😁 Normally you dont turn and shake your head that intensive, then the VR mirror on the screen would become more calm...

@@shmoof5530 It's worth it. I don't even have my wheel yet, and I'm in love. I'm throwing cars through corners with amazing precision in VR. I've used VR for many years, and I think this is the best feeling VR sim out there. The PSVR2 isn't perfect, but the overall VR device is well worth the money. Grand Valley is drifting heaven.

The display is bright. Car headlights in your rearview mirror are very bright at night, it's really something. Sunlight spilling over your dash as you come out from the shade is really neat. The mirrors display in 3-D, a feature I was really hoping for after playing other Sims in VR on PC.

Fyi, you can disable all HUD by going into settings, display settings, and then set "show race info" to off. (You can also turn brake indicators off in assists) 😁
I was expecting something very cool, and I still got blown away. This is incredible, i’m flabbergasted. Imagine how amazed I am that i’m using that word. If you can and you have a wheel, please do buy this, you won’t regret it

@@Phatzoot You obviously didn't calibrate it right during set up, or just trolling.
What you are seeing is the combination of the OLED colors and perfect blacks plus the HDR, thats why the lights pop so much, it makes everything look so much more real and natural. Its insane what Sony packed in this 550 headset. Huge props to them.

VR2 is the first VR I’ve ever owned and I played GT7 last night for the first time and was blown away!!! I grew up playing Gt2 on Ps2 and hadn’t played it since. GT2 was my favorite game as a kid..it’s insane to see how far we’ve come. I got to sit in some of my favorite cars and walk around them last night. It was even better than the actual race themselves.

It will be a lot better because you won't get all the bouncing and shaking that the share screen gets.
The games look far better in the headset than in the game. I got my psvr2 today and spent a few hours with it. Its excellent tech.
My experience is unfortunately way different. The mura effect of the psvr2 is ruining the experience. Maybe my headset has a bad case of mura, but it's so distracting, I'm returning the psvr.

It really has blown me away, considering this is from a (in terms of VR generally) affordable experience rather than super high end I'm shocked that it made me feel like I needed to lean with the cars movements. Normally I can tell all corners of my head im in a game Vs not, but this shocked me for sure

Modding scene for this game will be amazing if they release it on pc

2 small details that i like in the new update Is scapes movie from the garage and now the controller rumbles during the engine revs when you switch cars
The immersion is so spectacularly improved from the first gen PS VR. It feels like eating bean burgers for centuries and then you finally get to try the Beyond Burger for the first time. What a time to be alive!
Or even better, it feels like eating that veggie crap for millenia and then you finally get to try REAL MEAT for the first time. Damn that made me hungry.

6:38 if you’re curious you can see every car in vr before you purchase it after selecting it in store menu (where you pick the color of the car) But after buying it you can control the scenery and time of the day in VR showroom
Loving GT7 on PSVR2... have played loads of stuff on PCVR and this is the best experience yet. To me it feels more 'solid' than other racers, the graphics when up close to another car are awesome and you really become part of the track. Took an X-Bow around Nürburgring and for once felt like I 'understood' the road/camber/corners properly. The road felt wider than on my TV and very visceral. VR Showroom looks awesome too. I too now want a motion rig like YAW 2 to go with it!
Fully optimized for GT7 on PS5 that’s why it feels so solid
I have the same experience with GT7 and PSVR2. It is much easier to tell when the car starts to understeer and oversteer. I just wish the resolution is a little sharper. Also, I wish PD allows user to rev the car in the VR showroom. That would be insane.
One thing that GT obliterates Forza is how good the car models is. The R34 In GT makes me want to buy a PS5 just for admire it
Yep the R34 from Forza is a upscaled Xbox/360 model.. inaccurate headlights and OEM rims.
I was in VR, inspecting welding seems. When you get in there, you realize why PD takes so long to make these cars. They aren't making little matchbox cars. They're modeling it out like it's a massive sculpture.
GT outshines Forza in everything now.
Only thing forza has over gt is graphics

You should also try out GT Sophy the new Gran Turismo AI on the VR headset. There are some limited time events available for you to race against the new AI too.

Nice video. I only made it like 10 minutes before I started feeling motion sickness. I started out in a slow convertible but all the swaying of the body made it worse. Other videos I checked out stated GT7 should not be your first game you play if new to VR. Sounds like I will adjust to VR over time. Let's hops so cause this game looks fantastic in VR.
you can actually view a car's interior in Brand Central using PSVR2 without buying it; select a car then select "VR Showroom" just like in your Garage.
Theo there's one thing that might be a bit of an acid trip in GT7 VR, a lap of the nurburgring in the tomahawk X😂

There’s literally no other way to understand how mind blowing GT7 in VR is other than playing it. Played it for the first time last night and I’m still in disbelief! Not even Cyberpunk maxed RTX settings on my 3090 and TR 3979x can compare to this experience.
there's a mod for Cyberpunk in VR. Much better than this.
great job polyphony! now please: - add radio dialogs with the crew (remaining laps announcement, damages, pits stop recommendation,...) - add qualification to all events and let's start from the grid - simplify menus and dialogs. so many question and buttons to press... and add quick access menu instead having to through the not so practical main map.

@@RumpelStiltskindarkone after 10 or 15 min it become boring, no objectives at all, no oponents, it's like that skater XL game, the game looks cool but the lack of missions and objectives makes me want to replay EA skate 3 instead of playing for nothing.

i play the psp gran turismo game in "vr" (minus the motion tracking) through emulation and it's already an incredible experience, i easily burn hours on it. seeing this, i can only imagine how breathtaking gt7 in vr is...

Vr2 and the Logitech wheel paired together is crazy and feels so real! But after I played it for like 30 min with this setup, felt a little nauseous so had to stop unfortunately 😭 it’s my first VR so just need some time to get used to it
You can look around in brand central just click on the car there’s an option for it it takes you outside into the brand central area with the escalators and that

Bear in mind, you can see mura effect, like there is grainy mesh all over you screen on those videos unless you are wearing it. It's really taking away from whole immersion and experience.

This is just brutal… I have a PS4 with the old VR, in GT Sport you can have a race with 1 opponent and the resolution is straight from 1996 (480p maybe) 😂 This is a massive jump in performance
Well.. funny thing is, GT7 PSVR2 looks like 720p in the actual headset. I own it, and I did set it up correctly.

Guys for the people commenting on the video that the headsets moves a lot, the shakiness, the game doesn't shake like this, remember he is talking, explaining and moving his hands, all of this affects his neck and stabilization, usually when we play, we keep to ourselves maybe and not gesture like we are talking or like Italians :)

Just got my vr2 delivered. Downloaded call of the mountain and gt7. Call of the mountain has its good spots and spots that are just fuzzy. Talk about getting used to it. Motion sickness can set in quickly.

I tried it on a friends it looks good but it’s still very much a game than a sim which is a shame, I tried gt3 car round Red Bull and it was just too easy, also I thought it was blurry in the distance compared to my Reverb G2 and PC but to be fair it cost 5 times as much
