Corvac is dead...then he's not. WTF!!! "We are done here. Secure the site and call for extraction". There was also one of these...its over but then its not moments during the first battle. The story is convoluted and all over the place. The weird story progression would be tolerable if the story line itself didn't just suddenly start over out of KNOWHERE. It is time to start listening to these stories, and, EDITING them, before posting them. The potential for fun and exciting stories is here, but some refinement is needed.
This is a common thing with this particular AI generated and narrated story. Also common are "for every one that fell, two more took its place " and a few "like a hot knife through butter". Races and names start with Z, there's an Architect behind the scenes controlling everything and there is an ancient race of Progenitors that disappeared without a trace. Might be one that comes back in holographic AI form. Consciou9got downloaded.
There is SO much that doesn't make any sense in this story. At least 3 times it seems to suddenly jump back in time, one second weapons are useless, the next they become overly effective. Just a little proof reading would help a great deal. I won't even go into roles of the characters that would never be given to them to begin with. To me, whoever wrote this has no idea about diplomacy or the military and each of their roles. That seems to be a very common thread in most of these stories.

I really liked the story, but I wish there were more pictures to go along with it.
Seems like it jumps back to do a different ‘what if’ a few times. Otherwise it’s kinda like Mass Effect, I liked it.
