The mantra that the worst democracy was better than best military regime was during the era of Chief Awolowo's in the 1960 and 1970 & early 1980s. Today's politicians are worse than armed Bandits!!

Galadima is an old man who should be honest to himself given his age and expereience. Before the 2023 election he boasted that the ANPP candidate was the person to beat He misled himself to believe in that unrealistic assumption. He could not persuade his arrogant presidential candidate to stoop down from his high horse. Post 2023 election, with the woeful performance of Kwankwaso he should be facing reality rather than being an incurable optimist.
You spoke well all along, but your unpatriotism of not wanting to advice present government because of your selfish interest of planning to win election.

What is this old man saying? How can he be praising Abacha's dual exchange rate policy that allowed government officials to collect dollars at N22 from the CBN and resell at the black market at N88? Or he thinks we were not adults at the time? Abacha's only good points was that Nigeria was a strong force in African geopolitics, and the country was relatively safer at the time.
