The fetish question almost took dad out! 💀🤣🤣🤣
Man was having palpitations
The man suddenly developed a stutter 😂
it was disgusting. he's a grown man
@@MsDesiree39 disgusting how?
I think it was funny and innocent. He clearly has a preference but didn't want it to be seen as a fetish. He didn't want to confuse natural affinity for his attraction as simply sexually objectifying a particular race of women. Everyone has a preference whether gender, race, etc. There is nothing gross about it unless you have a total disregard for that individual as a human being. Additionally, he appears to have been a great dad and took care of his responsibility. It's gross to have preferences but not be accountable for your actions and results from it.
Why is the son and father so attractive, like wtf is going on?????
They're like the duo if you were at a bar and met them and you're just getting to know each other and you thought damn they're both fine but then Damien goes "oh this is my son", it would just glitch your brain
😂I’m weak like who knew
they take care of themselves, dress well, eat well, work out. other parent duos didnt do that they were overweight and dressed not to compliment themselves
God's chef kiss.
Lol I was like wait a minute dad is fine asf ok sir 🤣🤣🤣👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
The Indian dad is just prideful of his culture and doesn’t want to feel left out. He wants to make sure his daughter is proud to be Indian too lol
And I agree with that… My sister and me raised our cousin who is biracial… And we never ( and we don’t let anyone) just referred to her as being black because she is not she is of mixed race… I feel when you automatically, even if you can’t raise them in that culture you can’t deny a part of their identity… That’s a part of them… You can identify with the which ever culture you’re around or are connected to more… The one drop rule comes from toxicity and is toxic as well…
Yup! That’s what I got from it too!
Same
True, Its annoying how she just identifies as black
@@goddessvibes2345 I can see how that can be frustrating for some but it makes me wonder how many opportunities she’s has to be engulfed in Black culture vs. Indian culture living wherever she lives in America. And if people see her as Black instead of Indian then there’s also a layer of social conditioning that influences her to lean more Black identifying.
The girl with the glasses and her mom have a very strong bond, we love to see it
Yeah her mom seems cool af.
Absolutely, their chemistry was great
Yes ❤
You can sense that her mom had an appreciation for and probably had lived with and around Black people. She was really conscientious about making sure her daughter didn’t grow up not knowing who she was.

I like the mom's accountability with the retelling of the story and the accent!
That’s my favorite moment. Children are often times the best unintentional accountability partners and when they confront your ignorance boy oh boy
Same!
Love, love, love this comment because the story should honestly be listed in one of the stereotypes of mixed and racially ambiguous folks is that we are “the bridge” for those with white parents to be more aware…I living for the appreciation of her accountability but it brings up a bigger conversation of experience
Yeah. I think that’s definitely one we skip into easily. And it’s definitely inconsiderate.
As a mixed person with an Asian mom, I completely appreciated that she took accountability. Much respect!👏🏾
Daddy in the black on black suit fine fine. I wanna high five the lady that caught his eye. Such a good spirit.

I think I know what his dating history looks like
Makes me wonder about his background. I had classmates that grew up with us. Their grands remained while other whites ran. The kids parents didnt isolate. Unless taught or influenced otherwise, i think children are more likely to be like their peers culturally.
Damien (the white dad) is hot as hell

The white Dad was so good. The most culturally informed. Comfortable in his whiteness while respecting his sons mixed race. His adoration for black women while staying respectful. Him passing on the question about racism showing honesty in his position in the world. His deep love and care for his kid. Even as a misandrist of all of kids here it seems as if his son is the most well rounded and secure in who he is. The last question when he says he felt cool in his sons tiktok speaks to how even at some level he wants his kid to be proud of having a white man as his father. Biracials with black moms and white dads gon' hit every time ❤❤❤❤❤

“Biracials with black moms gon hit everytime.” Cringe.
Yeah. Daddy-o is hot.
Hit the nail on the head, they have a beautiful relationship and understanding of each other as individuals and culturally. As a mixed child I wish I had that kind of relationship w my parents, neither show much appreciation to the other culture and we never had conversations about race growing up

And even her admitting what she did in front of the camera knowing that thousands of people would see it, she could've easily not mentioned the incident but she did, kudos to her.

I felt so bad for the dad that was trying to answer the "fetish" question because I think he was trying to say he is attracted to black women it's just that word "fetish" is not the best one. For example I am hispanic and I am really attracted to white men. I've dated other races and found those men attractive. I just tend to go for white men a majority of the time. My fiance is white.

As a black guy myself, I can understand how the Indian father could feel left out when your daughter doesn't recognize that half.
Yeah, my parents felt that way with my older sister's kids, it's a bit sad/confusing for them to feel proud of who they are, and question why their nephews aren't? And it's not that my nephews aren't I just think in American society it's so much easier to fall under a particular standing that helps you be more sociable, if that makes sense.

Mix bro got that best of both worlds. Has his father's square masculine jawline, with curly biracial hair, and his mother's eyes
she said she disagreed with her Indian dad, `I disagree wit that...I think if you:re black you:re allowed to say it`.....he never said she wasn't allowed to say it. He said he thought it was derogatory and inappropriate ....both can be true..black people are allowed to say it but it's derogatory and inappropriate.
That’s what she’s saying. Sometimes, for black folks, it’s NOT derogatory and it’s NOT inappropriate. He can have his opinion but ultimately, what he thinks has no bearing.
@@dtown2816If that's the case, why get anal when others say it? It's bs spins in logic at the end of the day. A culture of clowns trying to be pro victims instead of being productive
She was disagreeing with the part where he said he didn't think it should be said within the family or outside of it. Implying she shouldn't saying in the house or outside. And that's where she disagreed, that she should be ok to say it outside the family, even though she wouldn't because she feels it's an uncomfortable word to say.
That wholesome handsome white dad who had "a preference" got so damn flustered for NO GOOD REASON. I guess he just felt put on the spot or whatever. Meanwhile, his son was the zennest of the zen.
It might be a question he’s asked himself, but never come to a conclusion about. As in, he worries he might be fetishizing a group of people, but it’s nonetheless his preference. And he might be. Or he might not. He seems nice.
Yeah, we'll never really know@@faiora
I think a lot of people have a preference. It's nothing to be ashamed of as long as you don't put a certain group on a pedestal or objectify them.
@@libera7161 This is the correct answer right there! Nobody would enjoy being objectified, tokenized or exoticized because it's ultimately dehumanizing. Just like nobody enjoys receiving backhanded comments, such as "Oh you're really pretty - FOR A LESBIAN" or "You're so athletic - FOR A JEW" or "You're so smart - FOR AN AFRICAN". Those are NOT compliments, they are microaggressions. Food for thought. 🤔
Right. Bc the son was like “I got that from him too!”
The mom who admitted what she did was a lot more respectful and aware than all the ones who took a shot
They took a shot because it obviously was bad. They probably don't want their kids to see them in a different light. And don't won't their business out there.....employers be watching lol cancel culture 😂

Poor Damien 😭😭😭. He clearly has a type and doesn't want to come off as if he's fetishizing Black women. All he has to say is that he has a type and keep it at that.
Why is it when someone is attracted to black women they have to reduce to fetish? Black women are attractive. The fetish correlation is such a useless negative stereotype
@user-qb9pp9bg4s I don't know if you're saying this in general or if you think I said he was fetishizing Black women, but just in case, that's not what I was saying. I also don't think that every non-Black guy that is attracted to Black women is fetishizing us, so basically, I agree with you lol. I hope my response came off the right way.
@@user-qb9pp9bg4syou’re absolutely right. however, i believe the stigma is rooted in history when the white man fetishized and took power over black female slaves and slept with them whenever they felt like it. so the idea has just been passed on through generations.
I'm glad he cleared it up by saying that it's a preference. Black women can be preferred by some non-black men just like some white men prefer Asian women and some black men prefer white women.
Some of y'all are too easy and love starved to see that words need to match energy. Stuttering and refusing to answer a question was not enough for you.

As an African American woman raising two 'white passing' (I hate this term but I've crutched upon it in order to 'explain' my boys to white folks.) kids in Austria, this video made me pause. The way in which each of the parents are required to reflect and quickly respond had me in heartfelt stitches. Parenting is such a fumbling yet beautiful journey.
