    • Nothing offensive but in my opinion sister you could be a bit positive may be like a successful astronaut thinking about that one shooting star at the time when his journey began which changed his life which turned his imagination into reality which let him conquered the eternity to light the whole human society with outer space knowledge. I am not a saint but in my opinion we can see happiness in everything be optimistic. Have a good day! 😊

  • I was one of the first subscribers. Imagine my awe when I remembered this painting today and I saw the channel has more than 3 MILLION subscribers. This one was the first, I think 🤔? Look at how many people got touched by this spaceman. I guess we see some portion of ourselves on him - full of things to say and feel and so lonely to share them.

  • i dont know exactly why, but this made me cry. i kinda related to this on a personal level. for years i have been struggling. i became very distant from my family and i have lost loads of friends. i feel like im trapped in a hole that i cant get out of. i want everything to go back to the way it was, but it just feels impossible. i can relate to this painting because i feel like i have no way to get back to how things were. all i can really do now is sit alone in my room and have a good cry. thank you so much for painting this. it somehow makes me feel a lot better.

  • When you think about it, his flashlight seems inter-dimensional, because through the rays of his flashlight you can somehow see earth over what looks like the horizon. But honestly i hope its more like a rescue mission, somebody is coming to get him.

  • My own backstory of this painting: Maybe he's looking for earth but he's already on it.... he's been in space for so long, isolated and alone for some time. Once he lands back on earth... something so familiar looks so strange once in a different light. Time has changed when he came back and he don't know what else to do but look out for something out there now.

    • You might be putting tape over paint too early or using the wrong type. If you're taping over paint you've already laid down, it needs to be completely dry first. If you're using a tape like duct tape, it will pull up what's underneath it. Try using masking tape or painters tape! Edit: Good luck painting, and I hope this helps even a little!!

  • The air was cold. Colder than it had ever been. It’s day 37. And the search is still going well. My cabin mate, Mark, he’s been doing good. He’s a solid, and a great co-pilot if I’ve ever seen one. I like talking to him, when it’s about coffee, or if it’s about our sons and daughters. But most days we lapse into silence. A new Earth is still unfound. My kid, Calvin, he’s never seen a real live plant. Bugger never even felt the sun warmer than a matchstick. But I’m having my hopes high that someday, our kids won’t ever have to put on a suit just to go outside. Never gonna have to face a reality that you could die just going outside. Then again, our ancestors were like this. Uncharted, unfamiliar. Still, they found a way, so we gotta find one too, you hear? But I’m rambling. We’re on planet 8. And the comet dust are more prominent here. To think we were so amazed with them back then... I better go. Rose will be at the moon station. I hope the government’s given us good rations. If there’s ever been such good luck, it’s a miracle we even got to save our animals. Poor dogs though, ain’t no one out there who’s seen a hide of them since the hit. My youngest drew them after I told a story ‘bout ‘em. She didn’t get the idea of the fur and the tail, though. Damn thing looked like a horse’. ...........silence....... We’ll see them again. So you hold on too, alright, Mike? I know you’re alive bud. I just gotta find where you are.....just send me a signal okay?...... ....please....stay alive. Your son... your son’s with me.
