  • How do I get someone to like me more? "In college, there was this girl who I thought to be the most annoying person on the planet. Let’s call her Nicole. I can’t put my finger on what annoyed me so much, but all I can say is it was really hard for me to be in a good mood when I was around her. One day, I complained about her to my best friend. I told her how much I dreaded Nicole coming around. She said, “Really? Nicole really likes you. Whenever I mention you she talks about how fit, beautiful, and smart you are as an engineer.” That shut me up immediately. And from that day forward, I had a lot more tolerance for Nicole. I actually kind of liked her, though I still didn’t want to be best friends with her. It’s hard to dislike someone who’s been saying wonderful things about you to everyone you know." _You want someone to like you?_ *Start talking about them behind their back, but only in the nicest way possible.* *What you say will get back to them.*

    @Kaorak@Kaorak10 ай бұрын
    • I've made this a habit. I have nothing bad to say about anyone behind their back.

      @SpokoR3@SpokoR310 ай бұрын
    • I do this subconsciously I guess. Just don't let myself tell unpleasant things about anyone behind their backs. Even if I know that someone doesn't particularly like me, I say positive things about this person because in the eye so of the person I'm talking to I become the person who doesn't say anything bad behind someone's back. If I hear you telling me what an awful person someone is, I think awful not about him or her but about you.

      @kseniyaella4142@kseniyaella414210 ай бұрын
    • I try hard to only talk about someone as if they were possibly listening at the table next to me. And I also sometimes try to think, If I wanted to give them a piece of critical but not harsh or judgemental advice, what or how might I say it? The former has saved me a few times, either when the person really was nearby or when the recipient was actually a friend or good acquaintance. The later has helped me as I’ve sought to reduce my own (unhelpful) habit of “complaining” in favor of trying to be more focused on helpful feedback. (Bill Bowen’s 21 Day No Complaint challenge defines something as not complaining if you are politely addressing the a person who may reasonably be expected to help with an issue.)

    • I totally get you, there’s someone who is so annoying that you don’t want to see/ meet her and it’s hard to pin point what’s annoying you, esp it will make you sound petty and childish when you tell a friend about it because it’s usually something trivial. That person is like the friendliest and warmest human being you ever met and at the same time I can just tell she’s so fake and I wanna puke. So I just shut my mouth and keep a good distance. Don’t say a bad word about her to anyone.

  • A general sense of humor is EVERYTHING. Some people are often defensive or ignore the friendliness of others trying to connect. Laughter is like nutrition for your soul. If you bring it to the table, you will be very popular.

    @cutzymccall7675@cutzymccall76759 ай бұрын
    • Lol not really. People will usually just think you’re a low value clown. A sense of humour is not the same thing as actually being funny. People are drawn to successful people. Be successful and you won’t need any of these videos

I am actually not at all talkative so I just let people speak and only reply when necessary. Almost 90% of the people I meet are impressed with me in the first time and always eager to meet later.

  • I like Cruise saying, “It’s a challenge.” Using positive language in garbage situations is funny in its own way. I know Cruise wasn’t an example of humor in this video, but it reminded me of the fact that “inspirational euphemisms” are quite funny, especially if you appear to struggle to concoct one on the spot.

  • You are creating a foundation not only for your life but for your legacy. You are needed for the world. You are necessary. It is vital that you do not exhaust yourself. Long-lasting change comes from little steps, repeated regularly, over time. The little things you do, as tiny as taking a sip of water or stretching more often or going for a walk. These all add up to something much greater than the sum of their parts.

  • What psychological facts you should know? They key of confidence is walking into a room and assuming everyone like’s you. Once you’ve accepted your flaws , no one can ever use them aganist you. The hardest prison to escape is in your mind. Speaking about your goals makes you lose motivation. The structure of your brain changes everytime when you learn something new. Listening 5 to 10 songs a day can improve memory , strengthen immune system and reduce depression risk by 80%. When we’re constantly wishing for something , we overlook everything we already have. Being forgetful is actually a sign of higher intelligence. Edit: Try to appreciate other's work. So upvote..

  • What makes someone charming? Talking less. Talking calmly. Maintaining a good eye contact while speaking. Being respectful towards subordinates and strangers. Keeping a faint smile throughout a conversation. Exuding confidence in their gait and posture. Admitting their flaws and mistakes with confidence and humility. Not being too affected or excited by the presence of the opposite gender. Doing what they consider 'right' and not caring too much about other's opinions. Living happily and not complaining too much about life.

The author is a product of his time and the examples are so verbose - most of the book could be condensed into a KZhead video much like this one, with far wider appeal and ability to action.

  • What're ten most common facts of social psychology? Control how you respond to things sent to destroy your peace, Your child will follow your example, not your advice. This is how life shapes up in society, 80% people remain quiet even when they really want to say something in order to avoid an argument with someone they care about, Healed people will automatically stop trying if they feel unwanted . They won’t fix or beg . They simply walk away, Associate yourself with people of good quality, for it’s better to be alone than in bad company, Most of us are not a product of our circumstances, we’re a product of our own decisions, No one knows our story like we ourselves do . Don’t let anyone define us . Let’s create our own identity, tell our own story & be proud of our growth, Sometimes we’ve to suffer in life- not because we were bad - but because we didn’t realize where & when to stop being good, Haters are just a part of the game in social circles. Use haters as fuel to keep surprising yourself, It’s funny how you can do nice things for people all the time & they never notice. But once you make one mistake, it’s never forgotten, Just Chill.!!
