Wedge Salad with Dairy Free Ranch Dressing

Crispy iceberg lettuce wedge salad with a banging dairy free ranch dressing. Enjoy!
RECIPE
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon almond milk
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 clove garlic, grated
1 tablespoon capers, chopped
1/2 teaspoon caper juice
1/4 teaspoon Smoked paprika
1/4 cup fresh chives, sliced
Salt & pepper
Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well along with 1/4 teaspoon salt and a few cracks of pepper. Mix well and check for seasoning. Dressing will get better over time

  • ranch needs dill if you ask me, its the defining flavor also, protip. cook bacon on a rack in the oven, it renders the fat better, dont need the paper, saves the fat easier, and the bacon cooks better with less oil this way

  • This looks delicious and your herb garden looks awesome. For the iguanas in the garden I have seen people use wire cages to protect their plants and gardens. Hopefully you can start some more tomatoes and peppers for a fall garden.

  • I never wash iceberg lettuce. Its not dirty like romaine tends to b. Since childhood ive never seen it washed. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. If there were bugs well i guess i ate them!🤣😂

  • Your videos are awesome 🎉 thank you so much 😊 I always wonder any organic oil has to be minimum expeller pressed if not cold pressed even though they do not mention because if they use conventional method like using hexane to extract the oil then how can they label them as organic because it is chemical. Please let me know if my understanding of organic is wrong.

  • Looks fantastic! Unfortunately many items (forager's cashew sour cream) are not available in Canada, and there really aren't many if any decent substitutes.

  • My concern is that you didn’t wash the lettuce I see this quite often with these lettuce wedges or even cabbage nobody seems to wash them but when you cut them you find bugs in there it’s just kind of gross if you don’t wash it what it what are other people do
