Friday Night Funkin' is a free-to-play and open-source rhythm game. Developed by a team of four Newgrounds users, the game has a play style reminiscent of Dance Dance Revolution and PaRappa the Rapper with an aesthetic reminiscent of Flash games popular in the early-mid 2000s on platforms such as Newgrounds.

    • It's 2D. It gives the illusion of being 3D because of how the poses are done, kind of like Vtubers. And I've made some similar sprites, like Monika and Yuri from DDLC. I use them in a lot of my BETADCIUs. I'm currently working on making more of the game and mods HD or anime. And thanks!

    • They took a while to make and retention dropped a little bit during them. It seems like the best idea is to just make them as "in game" as possible. Those have always worked great.
