I know you were just as excited as us when Adidas announced their newest Predators with a full wrap of latex on the thumb and an all new backhand material that is very different from last years model.
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT THEY TORE ON ME!?

  • I went to my local Adidas store a few weeks ago in need of new gloves, and I checked out the new Predators. I was super disappointed that their sizes 10 and 11 didn't fit me, but after watching this video, I'm glad I dodged a bullet.

  • Great video! Just a quick note regarding the latex: The URG 1.0 latex IS "creme de la creme", a specially made latex for Adidas, which is only supposed to last 3-4 games (games only, no training). Thus, it requires a good pre-wash to get rid of the leftover residue from the manufacturing process and to soften the palm. The contact latex you mentioned is basically the latex used in 90 % of "elite level" gloves; Nike, Puma, Kaliaaer etc.

    • Def one of the best gloves rn for what ur paying. Snug and tight fit but still flexible and the latex provides good grip but still quite durable. If u go to some Nike outlets they can even have it for discount of 30% or more. I bought my gloves at around $45 (AUD) and the retail was around $130 (AUD). That being said tho that was during Christmas but still is a good cost effective option.

  • This just recently happened to my pair of these gloves. Loved the feel of them, but as you mentioned, tearing like that is a nail in the coffin.

  • First, you must use water to moisten the gloves or you can wash them with warm water after purchase. After about an hour, the grip of Adidas gloves will stick more. I'm an Adidas fan so I'm still using their gloves

  • i haven't had a problem with mine at all i got the hybird urg 2.0 ones no rip grip is great and so far no problems what so ever!

    • Correcto! Antes el modelo predator era bueno pero este modelo nuevo tiene muchos errores, por el precio es mejor ir con el modelo del dibu 2022 mundial. Con el modelo competition se ve muy interesante vamos a tener un video especial para ese modelo! un saludo gracias por ver el video

  • I bought these & within the first session, they had the exact same rip in both gloves. Thought this was just a one off & decided to buy them again... Now I've just watched this video, I am regretting that! Hopefully it stays rip free 🤨

    • For me it’s the trans and zones. Got the predator pro 1.0 hybrid World Cup pack now and it’s also a great glove, but I didn’t play a lot with it so maybe my thoughts will change.

  • I byed these gloves after adidas fixsed the glove but overall they are decent gloves and most gloves last 2 mathces and they are done but umbro gloves red and blue the las 3-4 sesons with traning and matches and when you are on the feald with your frends

  • I have no problem spending extra on a pair of keeper gloves if they are guaranteed to last. From what I am seeing is that cheap or expensive gloves it doesn't matter. The common complaint is that the wear out too fast. I thinking the best way to go is just buy cheap glvoes every season.

  • For anybody considering buying these gloves I wouldn’t because it was rlly nice the first week then erosion and lose of grip if I was you I’d cut off the strap because the studs on the strap fall off easily

  • - First of all, I hope that your shoulder tendon heals as quickly as possible so that you can get back in action on the field, and thanks for uploading the video - This pair is certainly a FLOP given the shared images from keepers who got torn gloves even before using them -----------> UNACCEPTABLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!☹☹☹☹☹☹☹☹☹☹☹☹😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕 - Lack of functionality, now workmanship and low durability along with priciness make me drop Adidas out of consideration when asked to name my Top 10 (maybe 15) goalkeeper glove brands. We can definitely get something better for less cash! Watch out for your wallets, keepers!
