Glad I came across this video. Started day hiking some time ago and now slow transitioning to longer and more challenging hikes. Love to see these are budget friendly gear you have. I keep thinking I need to have those most extravagant gear ever.

I just got into backpacking Jan 2023! Been watching video since like 2020 😂 love watching and seeing everyone's different gear choices!! I had to to a pack shakedown after my last trip, was heaviest pack I had ever carried...

I’ve used that closnature tent on tons of backpacking trips some even down to 17 degrees and have no complaints. As I’ve switched to the durston xmid 1 person tent for ultralight backing the closnature will still be in the rotation.
