    • Yeah the way he opens his eyes to pierce him before he realized that’s the Totsuka blade tells you just that. If he just realized that he have the blade he would take evasive actions and take advantage to control the weakened Sasuke and then Itachi's body, of course if you consider that Akatsuki is around that area, anyway it would be impossible for Orochimaru 😅

    • @@joshuaguevara6775 It makes a massive difference if you watch the episodes with 1 week breaks or binge them. Anything binged evokes far more emotions. I'm so glad i only started watching Naruto so late that when i was finally caught up it was at the end of the Pain battle. Literally the first time i had to wait 1 week was the episode where Naruto is hailed as a hero and thrown into the air at the end of the episode by the villagers.

    • I think 10 years after the manga/anime "Itachi being the favorite character" is something you have to deal with when you get into shows so late. Spoilers would be explaining WHY he's our favorite character.

For Itachi to be people's favorite character essentially tells them he must be likable in some way and that gives them clues as to what will happen going forward

  • This is why i hate it when people comment in early episodes how much they love a villain. It's a spoiler to what they actually are or what they will become. Granted there were clues, but I think it affects their reaction to the "reveal" if they are sure there will be plot twist.

    • I mean you can't really blame the comments when they are very late to watching Naruto. You're gonna see popular characters more often and it's gonna indirectly spoil. Especially when a series is this long and a character dies this early. There's no avoiding it. Just be happy they haven't seen other characters

But unless you binge like 10 episodes it wont make sense, also I'm not that mad because the real reveal is later, and you dont really feel bad for itachi now its when you find out

    • I get what your saying but Ron does mention he notices Itachi in like everything outside of comments too. Itachi is marketed a lot because he is a fan favorite so it gets hard to avoid things like that if your late to watching naruto.

  • One thing here is Sasuke always thought Itachi meant "the same eyes" as the power of him, but what Itachi really meant as "the same eyes" is the hability of observation and comprehension of what is happening (general situation), what Sasuke clearly didn´t had.

  • Itachi was diagnosed with some kind of disease shortly after joining the Anbu. No one really knows what it is, but we've speculated for years that it's something like Tuberculosis. A lot of the fans have always suspected that, or some kind of other pulmonary disease. Because he's always grabbing his chest and breathing heavily, but it could be heart disease too. It actually reduced his stamina and lowered his chakra levels. That's why he gets gassed so easily from using the Mangekyou Sharingan. The blindness is a direct affect of using the eyes, but that affects all MS users who don't have EMS. Itachi would be way stronger if he didn't have the disease holding him back. Greatest child prodigy in the Leaf village since Minato Namikaze.

  • About 24:28, remember when Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke had their reunion, and at the end Sasuke raised his hand for some jutsu but Orochimaru stopped him? That was supposed to be Kirin, the same jutsu he used against Itachi. He could've instantly killed them.

    • @@M.Evra91 He always needs clouds for it to work. That's the point of the jutsu. He's maximising efficiency by using thunderclouds to generate the attack. The only chakra he then needs to cinsume is to guide it to the target. He would never be able to generate that scale of attack purely from his chakra.

  • Glad to hear naruto is your favorite...while it's a lot older and does have a lot of controversy in whether it finishes well or not, it definitely is the pioneer of many shounen anime out there. So many popular shows right now take from naruto. Personally, I grew up with Naruto and it did play a large part in who I was with all the life lessons.

  • I think given the shot of Sasuke’s legs shaking, he didn’t run because he was in pure shock. I think he had an adrenaline crash too, and between that, the shock, fear of death, his brother doing the usual scary shit, no energy, etc.? Yeah. Homeboy was locked down.
