Ya really gotta love how menacing Mr. Freeze can be when he wants to. Though he sounds more scientific, he still has an air of intimidation very fitting of his cold nature.:)
It's because you know Freeze isn't a talkative person by nature. He doesn't do bravado. So when he threatens to freeze your bones and shatter them like glass, you know he fucking well means it.

+Liam Pritchard The Firefly fight was basically the same as the Poison Ivy fight from Asylum, so I'll agree it wasn't that amazing. Shiva's fight was nothing special, but she's basically a ninja, so what would you expect from her? Deadshot's fight in Origins doesn't come to mind (I know it was in the bank), but the best I can remember, it as similar to Catwoman's fight with Two-Face in City, and I'll also grant that as being bland. Bird (pity he didn't look like he did when introduced in Knightfall) also was like Shiva; he's a mercenary. Sure, they could have had it taken place on a roof where you're dodging flocks of birds attacking you, and that would have been better, but I'm just happy they added him to the game. If only Trogg and Zombie had been in it. I actually enjoyed (finally) being able to fight Killer Croc fist-to-fist, and I thought it was a fair first boss battle. I thought the entire Copperhead scene in the Steel Mill was actually extremely well done, similar to Scarecrow's scenes in Asylum, and I also thought the fight was pretty good, and sometimes frustrating. And poison can also give you hallucinations, along with dying ("after-death" experiences, etc; the mind is shutting down, of course you'll see strange things). The Electrocutioner's fight (again, being a comics fan, pleasantly surprised he appeared) was off-putting at first, but when you realize all he is amounts to an arrogantly boastful street thug with some tech, it actually makes it damn amusing, and is a very good trick to make it seem as though that was the main boss fight on the ship, which I appreciate. I applaud your support of Knight (the one main Arkham game I've yet to play, sadly), but the boss battles in Origins, I think, are some of the best of the series. Frankly, while I liked the atmosphere of Asylum, no boss battle actually stands out for me, and City only really had Mr. Freeze (though I also quite liked Mad Hatter's, and speaking of which, he was also great in Origins). While I've not played Knight, one criticism I hear a lot are the boss battles, and while I'm sure I'll still love the game, as I do all the others, it doesn't mean I should talk down on the good battles in the other games.
+Liam Pritchard hey, i loved the firefly boss fight. A good way to recycle a already great boss fight and don't you dare about forgetting bane. Killer croc and albert king in knight are great yes ( even if they are the same btw ). Jason is kind of logic, but he was himself ( the so called original character of the arkham knight )and his boss fight a disapointement to me, my opinion. Riddler could have also been better though.
Gotta love how Batman says "Freeze, enough" !! when Mr. Feeze crushes Penguin's hand, yet Batman literally brutalizes and breaks the arms and legs of thugs and henchmen.

Freeze is a steel suit of armor that enhances his strength and used it to step on penguins already broken hand, that's like if he put a brick on his hand and hit it with a sledgehammer
Well they deserve it and it would certainly motivate them to give up and get a normal job like everyone else. Freeze wants to kill and we all know Batman is allergic to even the word itself.
Super hero or not, the sight of Solomon Grundy would make me piss myself. I would have bat grappled to the top and beat up the Penguin rather than watch this monstrosity come to life via a kajillion volts of electricity and then fight him in hand to hand combat. I would let sleeping dies lie, or berzerking zombies wail rather than stand down there and watch all of this happen. Sorry, Gotham.

This was my favorite boss fight in the whole game. The creativity of the fight, the atmosphere and the general out of nowhere aspect is what really made it for me.

my favorite is clayface. dodging him was quite satisfying. i also love the despite his size he dont slow down and use almost every attack formation a shape shifter can possibly came up with.
You can still hear him after you beat the game. If you go back into the Gladiator Pit where you see Penguin, you can hear his chains dragging on the ground and if you wait long enough you can hear what sounds like a faint groan.
I know this is old but your right i can hear him in the pit his chains and his groan omg rocksteady is hiding some really great easter eggs i never noticed that

I remember the first time I played Arkham City, I freaked out when I had to fight Solomon Grundy for the first time, so I looked up a walkthrough on how to beat him. This was the video I watched, which is probably run by Batman himself because of how much of an expert the is at these games, thanks Bats. This was also my first Arkham game, so I have good memories with this.

This was the greatest reveal when I first played the game. I was NOT expecting Solomon Grundy in the game at all, and he was a blast to fight!
I always felt bad for him. He seems so sad. Like he didn't want to keep waking up, but people like 🐧 resurrect him for there own ends. I want to put him out of his misery.

Apparently he resurrected after Arkham City and went berserk in a morgue before disappearing to parts unknown. So not even a missing heart can truly stop him for good.
What I really like is the casual way Penguin just announces he found a 12ft tall corpse chained up in the basement after he bought the club, like finding Solomon Grundy in your basement is a common occurrence.

When I was fighting Solomon Grundy, it was a pain because I did not know how to set up explosive gel that fast, had to time it between attacks, especially the shockwaves. Then I got hit by every missile when I had to defeat penguin, but at least I did it.

TH3JB0DD3N3RG0N Grundy has the greatest amount of super strength, Bane is the most intelligent and skilled fighter, croc has the greatest durability because of his scales and he also has the greatest healing factor. So it all depends on the writter, really. Bane can outsmart them both, Grundy can one hit KO any of them if given a chance, Croc can outlast them and take the win. Either of them can win this.

Freeze isn't really a bad guy. He's really a good person whose done bad things to try and save his wife. But really he's not bad in the way most of Batmans villains are.

In his origin in Justice League, one of his killers had a good tooth. Probably one of the few instinctual memories he has is of gold, hence why he's drawn to it like wolves to meat.

I'm used to playing Shadow of War and Shadow of Mordor. I've spent some thirty-forty hours on them, and now picked up this Batman game. I find the controls incredibly clunky and clumsy compared to controlling Talion!

Fun fact the first time I played this game I didn’t know about the quickfire bat explosive option. So after dying repeatedly, i figured out the timing and spent 30 min with out dying placing each bomb and beating Grundy

The grey skin and huge physique already told me it was him, and I was happy(and sad 'cuz he needs peace) to see him again after his death in JL Unlimited.
Key note: for PC press 3 twice fast to apply a quick explosive, took me some hunting to work it out as cannot tell from videos.

Arkham series boss fights are different from god of war and dmc as in that they are puzzle-oriented. Batman is often at a physical disadvantage unlike these games and he cant exactly punch his way to victory, so he has to adapt to his environments and use his gadgets, thats what i really like about asylum and city and felt what arkham knight lacked.

Funny how cobblepot designed an intricate system that requires him to dramatically press on button 4 times to resurect a freaking zombie, the first of which sets off a shit ton of explosives...impressive really
I explicitly remember this exact moment my first ever time playing. He looked big, but when that cutscene ended and the game play started, as he stood up, the words "oh fuck!" automatically came out of my mouth. He was *huuuge* . Love this game so much.
