Hows the move in going?
My boyfriend and I are moving in together next spring and we've talked about pretty much everything: finances, room layouts, food, chores etc. You name it. But I'm watching a bunch of videos like this to prepare myself and see if there are any topics we haven't talked about. It's very helpful

How old were both of you when you moved in together and how long had you been dating by then?
we had been dating for 1 year and 9 months by then and we were 18 (Mel) and 20 (Arrius) when we moved in together

My bf and I are planning on moving in together so we can go to college near each other, would we have to buy an apartment before the year starts? Is it dumb to buy an apartment before starting college
No not at all dumb, it’s probably a good idea to get a place before college starts! As long as the both of you are committed and responsible. You should budget together and plan together. Do you guys go 50/50 on bills??
We do! We split bills in half but if there is a time that one of us is struggling then the other will pick up the bills and that’s because we see all of our income as one not individually!
How'd y'all talk w/ your fam about moving in together?
We didn’t talk to them at all we honestly purchased the apartment and just left, wasn’t what they wanted and wasn’t in their best interest but it was the best for us. We didn’t see much of any other choice so we just left. We talked it out with them later and now our families accept our decision and understand. If you want a full video on it let us know🙏🏽

You're sweet but very young and obviously without red pill knowledge. You mentioned about friends. Didn't you two know that person is exactly the same as his friends. They wouldn't be paling around if they are not very similar.
Not all people are exactly the same as their friends. I am very different from my two best friends and my boyfriend is different from his two best friends. But my boyfriend and I are very similar to each other in a lot of ways
Kids should take advice from older mentor not from other youngsters. Not because mentor is smarter but because he's being around longer and he's more experienced.
If you think age has anything to do with common sense, education level and overall knowledge, you are sorely mistaken.
The norms are different with each generation. Finding experienced couples in a similar age range that have good advice is more relatable
