The MTV "Dude This Sucks" story is genuinely horrifying and depressing. What those guys did to those poor girls was assault-assault, if not potentially/arguably sexual assault. I hope any footage of that event stays lost forever for those girls' sake.

SpongeBob on Adult Swim definitely never existed, but they did air reruns on MTV for a while when the series was new. There weren't any changes from Nickelodeon's airing, but it is interesting that the show also aired on another Viacom network that was geared towards a slightly older audience.

That'd be so cool! One of my favorite kinds of lost physical media is that there's a ton of lost furby stuff, especially for the ones released in the 90s. Some of my favorites include the one dressed up as elvis and the one that inexplicably has an iron-on spam shirt. It's a rabbit hole that really has no reason to go as deep as it does; there's also some really cool found stuff like one made with real jewels finally going onto an auction after like 24 years this June

One that gets me is the Danny Phantom pilot. When Danny phantom first aired I could have sworn there was an episode where Danny ends up walking into the ghost portal machine to try to fix it before it ends up activating and giving him his powers. It’s basically what you see in the shows intro, but it was a full episode. I remember him getting his powers and then being unable to control his powers. Like at one point he was just walking with his friends and then his legs went ghost and he started to fall through the floor. Eventually he learned how to control his powers. The first episode you can currently see is “mystery meat” and it is odd for a tv shows pilot as Danny already has his powers. Yes I know there is an episode where he has to go into the portal and reenact the whole situation on how he got his powers in the first place, it’s not that episode
I remember that episode! I think Sam and Tucker had a rope tied around Danny’s waist “just in case” to pull him out when it activated. It’s how he got out after it turned on. Perhaps they just decided to leave it as a pilot and therefore its not include it in the episode list?

hey so uh i have some possible info about the little einsteins pilot apparently, my family may have recorded a full length version according to my mom, me and my sister were huge fans of that series, and so she would record them from the TV, and apparently at one point, she recorded an episode just labeled "pilot" i'll have to ask her for more details tomorrow, and it is possible that we lost that tape, but i'm going to go look through my grandfathers collection soon, to see if maybe she gave it to him

sorry, i kinda forgot about this comment, but to update people, i might have to wait for spring, my grandfather has a ton of old VHS tapes in his basement, so it could be there, but he also has a bit of a hoarding problem so searching there will be like looking for a needle in a haystack, he also has an old RV on his property filled to the brim with old stuff from one of our old houses, including VHS tapes and old computers, so i might have to start the search there, but we also live in canada, and it regularily dips below freezing at this time of year, which is almost certainly not the best condition to search in

I never understood why a “new member” would imply whatever topic they bring up could be fake. Maybe they just joined a forum to just discuss whatever their topic is?
Essentially, it's a credibility issue. Frequently, trolls will make new accounts and make fake posts to get people to search for lost media, hoping to get a laugh. Of course, not all new members are trolls, but the risk is still present

You see I have some personal lost media that I want to be found yet, I'm not sure where to post it as it may not be fitting or people will think I'm trolling. I wanted to find a song. All I remember is that it was on a cassette tape (it was new) and it's sung by a woman. The genre is R&B. It starts off slowly with a piano (could be a synthesizer due to it sounding like other instruments are being played) the closest I've found to this opening is Mariah Carey's dream lover. Just the small part of the beginning is playing. The lyrics are probably wrong as I was very young when I heard it but it's something like "sitting in my living room thinking of all those times before.... Waiting for you to walk through that door..... Who's going to comfort me when I'm.... Who's going to comfort me I'm all alone. You took a part of me." Also I could say it's probably a 90s or early 2000's song. I guess in the meantime I'll either try to recreate it or buy a cassette player so I can go through my aunt's collection (I hope she still has it)

It's simply that new members are more likely to troll than users who actually actively post on forums- it's the activity that shows the user is actually passionate about lost media rather than some 12 yr old who thought it would be funny to lie there. My recommendation for anyone who wishes to share something is to create an account and try to be slightly active before posting about something really obscure, bonus points if you discuss said topic on multiple sites to show how you really mean it when you want it found, try to make as much detail as possible while also MAYBE providing recreations of whatever media you're trying to find
The worst thing about jumpscares is if it's at night. I was asleep with my Roku TV and I kept getting an ad about a movie channel. It first started off with those old movies reels counting down from 3 to 1. After that there's a woman screaming "help me!" Before she crashes her car. It was so bad that I had to mute my TV at night to avoid it. I think they stopped airing it but I'm too afraid to unmute it. What's worse is that my TV was at a low volume yet, it was up really loud for the commercial. Why do they do that?
Heck, even fairly-standard loud or unusual sounds can really upset me once the sun goes down!

Guys I need help finding an ad from 2018 or 2019, this was an animated ad about a man in a library on the phone talking to someone before getting into an accident and then blood starts appearing and he gets shot. Been looking for this with no luck. The ad then ends with a logo for a studio or company

Could I suggest looking into lost media from Osamu Tezuka’s animation company? There’s quite a bit n given the fandom for his work is pretty small nowadays, none of them are very well known. A few have lost media wiki entries but I don’t know if all of them do

11:51 Chuck and Pasqually were likely overlayed onto live footage, you can see Chuck gesturing and it's likely to be the contents of the ad (I'm thinking footage of a birthday party given the circumstances). The lack of background cels and the fact the characters are regulated to the bottom of the screen (at least in every cel I've seen) backs up my assumption, plus the inherent cheapness of the animation makes me doubt it was a fully animation piece in the first place. This brings up the possibility that the live footage may actually already exist out there (as an existing PTT advert), and it may have merely been reused for this ad (given the small scale of its' distribution).
He doesn’t have all of the cells for the parts he has. It’ll go from 22 to like 27 at some point. He did confirm it is in fact a birthday party and I believe the audio has been published and rumored to be around 27 seconds. And I do want to say they would probably layer the animation over live footage(similar to the ones we have now)

Please someone help me When I was a kid I saw a bumper for nick jr Around 2010 I think In the commercial these kids were on like a sort of minecart ride and it looked like stop motion because I I remember them having paper mouths While they were in the ride flashes of fruits and veggies kinda danced around the screen and all while this happens a weird song plays about the fruits I’m not insane I know what I saw was real and I’ve been searching for the bumper for years it always stuck with me for some reason If you know what it is please tell or saw it to I wanna know 😭

Dude This Sucks: Why are there so many people in the comments sections saying weird things about the MTV producers. For all I know, this was a scheduled act, and MTV was not aware of the act's nature until it actually happened. #3. Pawn Stars PBS documentary: Is it possible that this documentary was produced by a PBS station in Nevada, rather than by PBS proper?
The tv land jump scare is real, it didn’t advertise anything and it was very reminiscent of the jump scare played in the video but it wasn’t the same. This women looked less zombie like and more alive/demonic. There were no words spoken and no other indications it was actually promoting something it was just.. weird. It might have been me.tv also that aired this but I know this one’s for sure something that happened

1:00:00 You know, the fact that there's an interest in the magazine advertisement for some one-off figures when the figures have been found and are owned by an individual who is known just tells me how obscure of a search a lot of people are interested in pursuing when the search is for a single magazine page in a random magazine.
9:57 there was a recent Caddicarus video where he showed a Resident Evil 4 ad that was banned: It first shows some nature scenery with calm sounds, them a naked woman feeding a baby with breast milk pops up, then the camera comes closer to reveal her disitegrating zombie face. To end, it shows some gameplay clips, closing with the game, Capcom and Nintendo Gamecube logos. This ad showed when the game was fresh and was (obsviously) a Gamecube exclusive. In the video, Caddicarus says that it was quickly banned in the UK. If the mentioned TV channed was british, then the story could be real. It aired on the region for a short period of time before getting quickly banned.

It's hard to find lost videogames without even knowing what exactly we're looking for besides it being related to that show, specially since videogames vary from digital to physical like a web flash game to a physical copy you have to insert inside some sort of device besides needing a date of when the videogames we're most likely made, all that sort of info to even know where to look for

Do you have an email or something we can contact you directly by? I’m not sure I have lost media but it’s definitely undiscovered media if I can find it again. I can better explain it through formal exchange but for now I will say it involves the Nintendo 3DS internet browser feature and a secret image I believe placed by Nintendo. I’ve yet to see anyone talk about it at all and I would love to give you the full story and see if I can potentially find it again before it is lost for good (Nintendo has announced shutting off its internet connectivity).
