The previous one like the 2018 sounded even better. I have a GLE53 and it sounds so muted compared to my 2018 C43. The sound gets worse as regulations get tougher

I agree, particle filters (might have translated that wrong, my apologies) are I think the biggest cause in this case, it is such a shame since AMG's sound like a proper symphony. Even the 4.0 V8 twin turbo hot-V setup these days sounds just staggering with a proper tune. I doubt however anything will have more of a presence than the old 6.2 litre naturally apirated engine.

I m trying to think about what model I want as a “keep this old beautifully sounding car in your garage since we will lose them to electric cars soon” I was thinking maybe an older E63 S or even a newer E63 S with an after market exhaust and a tune from like rentek or something. They have kits that remove the muffled sound and add horse power

Thats all cool for sunny days but my city is snowy and im scared of even thinking having a rwd lmao. Manufacturers all started having 4wd systems as standard on their high performance vehicles.

@@Leon13410 sounds better than the f80 yes. But the e92 m3 with the s65 v8 sounds way better than the c63 & is more exotic & can rev up to 8600 rpm. & F10 m5 with twinturbo v8 is nice too. Both amg & m cool ass cars in there own way tho.
