I got mine from Amazon shortly after they sold out the first time. I love it, I live IN NYC and our Springs are just a extension of winter so it hasn't been appropriate yet to test it outside but it'll definitely be in my rotation heavily once it gets warmer! That coconut and like roasted Tonka smell with freshness, I totally get why people would be let down or not jazzed about it too much but it works for me.

I agree about the spring and fall. The coconut throws me off in cooler weather. Its a confusing fragrance for me but then again, everyone is wearing sweet stuff now in the summer sooo🤷♂️
First sniff i thought this was putrid. I let it sit for a week, tried it again and love it now.
I love Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, but I need to cut back on sugar. So I see these sugar-free ones and I buy some. The disappointment I felt when I tasted sugar-free Reese's cups was heartbreaking. That's how I felt about Asad Zanzibar.

Be happy your bottle only jiggles inside the case. Mine came right out of the case along with the lid when I went to uncap it. I had to glue it back in. Also, there was slight leakage which came out and dissolved part of the logo above the silver ring.

I love it, I get so many compliments whenever I wear this perfect for spring and summer
I gave it away to my brother. Had high expectations seeing coconut and iris but unfortunately I did not like it, smells kinda disgusting and I don't get the iris. I also agree that this is not a summer fragrance but would work much better in the winter as the sweetness seems too cloying for the heat.

I preordered Zanzibar also. Was super excited to get it but I was let down so I gave it to my son. Also my plastic ribbon thing came off in my hand lol
you just have to shove it back on, it's friction fit.
The feeling of the bottle is cheaper compared to the old bottle. I thought it was just my bottle. I preordered 2 bottles with all the hype on the internet and at the end I wasn’t a fan of the fragrance. It has at the end that smell of spoil eggs or yokes. I believe “calone” is the right name for the chemical.

If you are talking about Gisada Ambassador , imo. is it a fruitier more mass appealing version of Sauvage .It is in my regular rotation , and constantly get compliments when wearing . Great price on tester at Jomashop at the moment !

My buddy got this last week. He loves it. I think it smells like a cheap car freshener that got puked on...to each his own.
I tested it at a local store and I did like it. But I will wait for the price to dip under $30 then add it to my collection. Another lattafa banger for sure.
I have the opportunity to buy Parfum De Marly Layton, 78%, the one before reformulation, quite cheaply. Is it worth it? Could it have lost quality over a few years? Even if it has not been unpacked, can it lose quality and parameters?
It won't lose quality unless it's been stored incorrectly i.e in direct sunlight or in a room that has huge variations in temperature. I wouldn't hesitate buying it, as long as the price is right.

I have both Zanzibar and le beau, I think they are both great, but definitely not even close to each other.
Seems many are disappointed in Zanzibar due to how sweet, spicy and off putting it is for Summer. I was as well. If you are unhappy, try layering with something like Rue Braca Theoreme it really changes this to something much more pleasant.
I just picked it today from a store near me. I tested and I couldn't resist.
What store carries lattafa near you? Curious because the stores around me only carry designer frags and no niche/clones
@@henny.productions The store had a lot of Arabian fragrances. The owner is from Pakistan. He told me he was in this business for around 30 years. The shop is 10 years old. I just searched for lattafa fragrances near me on Google and bam I got this shop. Prices were pretty much close to what I was getting on fragrancebuy. I can say that I got Lucky that I found this shop near me. I don't have to blind but anymore. 😎
@@henny.productionsi live in nyc on Broadway 31st a bunch of stores carry lattafa Afnan etc.. for the last few years I've been lucky not to have to go online and buy stuff. I passed on this one tho..All 20 to 45 dollars for them

When I hear Zanzibar, I think of Metal Gear Solid. lol But awesome review as always.
Of course, they've worked with perfumers in the past. They release beautiful frags. It's funny that when designer frags release something that smells identical or similar to an already established frag, that it's perfectly fine and people will pay high dollar. But when a Middle Eastern perfumery does the same thing, people get upset and don't want to spend over $25.00 on it. Technically, all french perfumers are copycats because the Middle East invented perfumery.

Many haters on this video. It's not a matter of taste, saying " i wanna give it back" it means that many people have a serious problem with themselves, this fragrance some find amazing,some just ok but I can't except that some don't like it at all.. Something goes wrong with that people
This is such a strange fragrance. It's so stupidly strong that it doesn't jive with how sickly sweet it is. The sweetness would be fine if it were more subtle but it's delivered with a big dropkick in strength that it's an assault on the nose. You know how they say you really shouldn't spray in the air and then walk through the mist? I don't know that I'd go that far with this one, but I do spray it so far away from me that I avoid having this stuff in any one concentrated area and I get more of a light and wide coverage. For me, it's fine if I treat it that way.

I took your recommendation for the the Zanzibar. I purchased it and it smells like alcohol and medicine. I thought my nose was deceiving me, but I brought it to other people to smell and they think the same thing. So did I get a bad batch or did I get duped. Can you explain.

I blind bought this due to all the hype on other channels & again I'm disappointed! This smells like cheap suntan lotion with no redeeming qualities! Seeing all the mixed comments, I'm not the only one. Starting to question legitimacy of not only the reviewers but the commenters on some of these channels! Anyway if you like coconut, you should sample the new CK Eternity Aromatic Essence. That's solid to me!
