Universal Studios Hollywood! 60th Anniversary Tour, WaterWorld, HHN Prep, New Merch, Rides & MORE!

We made it to California and our first stop is Universal Studios Hollywood! We enjoy some of our favorite attractions like Secret Life of Pets, WaterWorld (where we FINALLY saw the seaplane for the FIRST TIME!), and get to enjoy the pass member preview of the brand new 60th anniversary Tram Tour on the Glamour Tram! We see Doc Brown and the DeLorean in the courtyard, and get to get off the tram and walk around the backlot and take pictures with cool sets! We also try some tasty new treats, see fun characters, see Halloween Horror Nights construction and the building of the new Fast and Furious Roller Coaster!

It was nice meeting you while waiting in line for this tour. Sometimes its hard to gauge if the personality you see in videos will be the same in person, but you are a very friendly in person as well.

Nice meeting both you and Sam during the 60th Tour! Always enjoy your videos. Side note... I graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff! Most people don't realize how much of Arizona is high elevation forest! Flagstaff and Sedona are beautiful!
FINALLY you two got to see the plane! 😂 I actually like that there are some unique attractions on each coast that are different and exclusive to the parks that are a little further away. USH can keep the Secret Life of Pets and we’ll hold onto E.T. on the East Coast, and everyone will have that many more excuses to travel and explore! 😎 The 60th Anniversary tram tour looked like a blast (of water) and Toad’s tough guy act was quite possibly the highlight of our week. We’ve got an HHN Hollywood trip booked this year as well, maybe we’ll see you there! 👻 Amazing video!
Yay, you guys are at Universal Hollywood!! It’s very cool there!! I’ve always wanted to try to do the Hollywood tour bus!! That would be so fun and cool, especially when they show where some of the movies were made and TV serries filming studios!! Such a fun tour to go through!!I like Beetlejuice!! He was funny!! This was so awesome 😃 I still haven't made it to any Universal Studios Park yet, but I hope to some day, maybe be able to in 2026 in Florida. Anyway, glad y'all got to see the plane in show this time😊 The Tour looks so awesome, if I ever get out there in future, I'd definitely do the tour. Didn't know that you actually could get wet, 😮 This was so great. I'm grateful that I get to experience these adventures through the screen. Thank you. I like Universal Studios Hollywood, but personally, CityWalk has had a much bigger impact on my life since I have been there a few times from early childhood before my first visit to the theme park in 2018. It’s still nice to see footage of the park, especially how it will be honoring the studio tour’s anniversary in the next four months or so.
Yay! You got to go past the clock tower and see Doc Brown to boot.

What camera do you use? It looks fantastic on my 4K TV.
I've been there twice that I remember...once as a kid when it was still a newish thing and once with my stepsons when they were young. So much more there now than there was in those "olden days." I just don't get to the LA area and avoid the traffic like the plague, but should go back. My daughter and niece went there a few years ago and enjoyed it. Glad you got to experience their 60th anniversary!

We went out west for the first time last fall and had a ton of fun! For some reason we didn’t know Donkey was out there so we didn’t get a chance to see him. Hopefully one day!

I have never been to California, it’s on my list to go. Donkey is right, Florida is way too hot and you got alligators. That was hilarious. Oh, and I forgot to mention in your other video. I cannot believe they’re building a Halloween horror house in Vegas. That’s crazy. I mean, that’s cool and it’s gonna be open year-round, but I wonder why they chose Vegas.
So when I was a kid many many years ago. My pop would take me swimming in a natural springs outside if Tallahassee Florida. Apparently scenes from the original creature from the black lagoon was filmed there. And I tell you it looked the part. lol
I went there the first time back in June 2023 a day before the Disney Pixar film Elemental was released.

Have you traveled to center northern Cali? Some suggestion would be mystery spot and Santa Cruz beach boardwalk. Great America I think is a ceder park too in Santa Clara. Lake Tahoe is nice! And the area of Humboldt area to Avenue of the giants w lots of drive thru trees . Love your videos❤️
I’ve been to those areas but haven’t vlogged them. We want to do a future trip where we do all the other socal theme parks and other places like some movies and show locations!

Great vlog! We're thinking of going this year. What hotel do you recommend? A universal partner one? We're also thinking of doing Disney too so would a Disney hotel be better or something in between?
We stayed in Anaheim but the drive between that and Hollywood is long with horrible traffic. Normally the hotels right by USH are the way to go, but the prices were through the roof on the days we were there so we saved a ton by just driving. It all depends because prices vary so much throughout the year, we always just price out and compare what works best. But the two hotels u can walk to USH from are what I’d recommend if u can swing it! We did it last year and it was primo.

Definitely come back to HHN try to this year because we are even better than Orlando our characters scare people a lot more than they do in Orlando PVC, Dev has came out here, and said that we beat Orlando
Hi Jackie, the fog you were seeing from the top of the escalator down to Super Nintendo world is most likely just our Marine Layer. It forms in SoCal most mornings when cool, moist air sweeps inland from over the cold ocean and gets trapped between the warm dry air on land and normally burns off as the sun gets higher in the sky mid day 🙂 The air is cleaner than it looks!
Ah we've noticed the mornings in that area are always white and gray, and the sun doesn't come out until later. Thanks for the info!

Haha no we were there a week before everyone else! We were there for the pass member preview, it lined up with the end of our trip. Everyone else was there the next week, it was a fun coincidence that this new studio tour preview lined up with our road trip finishing date! :)

I hate what they've done to Hill Valley clock tower. It was honestly my main reason to ever go to USH, so now I'm not so sure. I think you missed the Pugh Two by days. That could have been fun
Studio 12 was on the tour Adam did. They said it was for a movie next year although most of it was hush hush as the details weren’t given yet. It’s supposed to be a big name star in it though. I also think that was an agent or a producer or something walking by as they often are on the phone.

I'm sure USH pales compared to Orlando, and someday, I hope to visit. You were so lovely giving props to that 60th pretzel. You must have got a rare good one, but it's generally stale like that 60th doughnut. Brilliant eating at City Walk instead of the park, which, IMHO, is bad everywhere except Hollywood and Dine seasonal promotions.
Yea most theme park pretzels I've had haven't been much to write home about, but I must have gotten a good, fresh one. It was the first day so maybe that's why. And totally agree, that's why we went for delicious sushi in CityWalk!!

My guess is that you were at Universal Studios Hollywood on Sunday. DYK Ryan Gosling made a surprise appearance there the day before at the Fall Guy pre-show at Waterworld?
Nope, we were there last week on the first day of the pass member previews. Several days before that happened. But super cool for everyone who got to see that! I definitely woulda included that in my vid if I was there that day haha.

Yes it's basically the same. I didn't notice any differences that I can remember. I do feel like the Orlando version the screens look better. Just the outside and entrance are different.

It’s hard to say and totally subjective. But being Florida girl born and raised, my heart is with the Orlando parks! They’re also bigger with all the amazing resorts to explore too.

Universal does NOT play around with their “splash” zones.
Kinda sad how they are potentially gonna get rid of Springfield and the simpsons. Never guessed why til i remembered they partnered with disney now. Shame cause i remember when the ride opened by itself and later on they upgraded it by adding the scenery, hopefully it stays or disney incorporates them at their parks

I understand what you're saying and appreciate you being polite about it. He is growing his hair out currently, so it's going to look a little crazy until it gets to a longer length. He has trimmed his beard since this video though haha! I think he's handsome too, and we aren't fussy about our looks so sometimes we just get unkempt and are ok with it.
