That Blue Dial Cellini is my kind of watch. A perfect day dress watch and I started out life as a middleweight boxer. The style is an homage to the Breguet Classic (one of my favorite designs). I love the guilloche blue dial, it's so classy. The lines are simple, the dial: Hour, minute, and a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock, (I've always loved small seconds movements). Simple and straightforward, but the guilloche really sets the dial. Beautiful! The color is not hard, it doesn't try to get your attention like some gaudy colored dials that try way too hard to attract attention. The shade of slightly grey-blue is not harsh, it doesn't jump out at you, but lets your eyes fall softly on it. It is an impressive Office or Casual dress watch. The brown strap is nice for day wear, but the dial color will also match well with a black strap for a formal evening event.
I'm glad to see someone like it. I think it's beautiful.

Gee weez, even when Seth is ''weakened'', he makes sense and still demonstrates a certain sharpness. Imagine when he has all his faculties! Still, it's good to see him a little more relaxed. The 1908 is definitely a great looking watch. Does it compare to a Patek or Vacheron? Probably not, but I think it represents a great dress watch.

I have always felt that the man makes the watch, not the other way around. If, in order to feel like a man, you need a large watch, or a watch of a certain value, or a watch that is a particular style because someone else says its "in style", then you have more problems with your manhood than what a watch is going to solve. I have a wrist size of almost 9" and 13 watch collection consisting of one watch of 40mm and all the rest ranging from 32mm to 36mm, and a couple tank style at 25mm to 27mm. All but the 40mm are vintage and i love wearing them. I would rather walk into a room and have people say "hey, there is Chris, i wonder what watch he has on today?" then have them say "hey, look at that {insert brand or latest hype watch name}, I wonder who is wearing it?"

Agree with you on the Daytona with diamond bezel. Pointless for a chronograph. It makes the watch non functional as the tachymeter isn’t there.

A man's watch used to be 36mm, ergo so many Rolex in 36mm. Women's watches were usually 29mm to 18mm. Today big is in, so we're up to 45-48mm, and women are wearing men's 36 to 40 mm watches. Style is in, style goes out, but Fashion is forever. What looks good 50 years ago still looks good today. i.e. My Rose Gold 36mm, Day-Date with the fluted bezel, and alligator embossed brown leather strap still looks good even though it may be considered too small for a man of 6 feet in height. I admit it does look a tad small on me, but it is still fashionable. Once a classic, always a classic. You will never go wrong staying with the classic watches.
