Si Kin naman ay may parang problematic issues kaya nag hiatus siya noong una hanggang sa i-announce na ng Viva na wala na siya sa group. I love how not only are they promoting generic Filipino culture, they are promoting LESSER KNOWN REGIONAL CULTURES in the Philippines! And the attention to detail is INCREDIBLE!! Filipino culture is weaved into every inch of their work. Some things I noted: • The different regional languages incorporated • the "Handa, 'rap" in the intro which is from the CAT/ROTC training we had in school • The use of traditional Philippine folk instrumental towards the end (Bandurria??) • The background decor: Jeep, banderitas etc • The coconut shells and the Maglalatik folk dance that was incorporated • If you check their ig, each of their outfits are custom made to reflect their own regional cultures (kudos to stylist Bang Pineda and Black Code Manila for their fashion) Basically, they have this very strong concept and vision of who they are and that is to break in the music scene and showcase tradition and culture in a modern fashion. AND I AM HERE FOR IT 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

@@mrtandok There's a shit ton of pre-Hispanic styling that Visayas has maintained (from my experience as a Bisaya), so that's a bit unfair to say. The entire Philippines has been subject to some degree of Westernization, but there's still a lot of pre-Hispanic stuff that has survived. Not in perfect shape, sure, but still very much alive.

i love how this group just celebrates the diverse cultures in the Philippines. It's not a kpop-washed band. They are just them and giving a platform to share filipino culture. I'm so into this
It's absolutely kpop-washed. From the vocal line, rap line, dance line, hair color, fashion. It has Kpop formula written all over it. What's unique is the effective incorporation of filipino culture.
@@kenceus1969 I think the rap line and vocal line is more influenced by western pop rather than KPOP...the hair and fashion though I can agree that it's influenced by KPOP
props & language, culture incorporation wise, pinoy 100%. Outfits, hairstyles kpop washed... but they're good...

@@malmisdiofel5972 well Kpop was influenced by western pop in general but Kpop kept that formula, putting vocals and rap on one song. We can hardly hear that on western bands now.

I think this is the best P-Pop group to ever debut in the Philippines. The way they incorporated Filipino concepts in the lyrics, song instrumentals, hairstyles, clothes, and in the music video is amazing. I was in awe throughout the music video. For a debut, this packs a lot of potential. Well done, Alamat!
