Brother Travels 2,000 Miles To Give Sister An Epic Surprise | Ring TV
Damaris hadn’t seen her brother, Dakota, in quite some time and she wasn’t expecting him to come for a visit. But in secret, he flew in all the way from California to Wisconsin to surprise her. When he arrived at her doorstep, he started nonchalantly chatting over her Ring Video Doorbell for the big reveal but his plan failed. The surprise was on him: she wasn’t even home. But she pulled up moments later as he was scrambling for a new plan. And her Ring Video Doorbell saved their priceless reactions on video to re-watch, thanks to her Ring Protect subscription.

My brother can’t even come downstairs to open the door for me
That’s sad
😂 but same
🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 sameeee.

Her excitement made me tear up a bit. This is the LOVE siblings should have for one another.
They had good parents. It helps. 🙏🏼

Oh . . . so I wasn't the only one.

Lol!
That was soo adorable. A lot of people complain about their siblings but I say appreciate them while you have them. Even if you don’t get along that well. Life isn’t forever and they could be gone in an instant. I would give anything to see and hug my big brother one more time. He’s been gone for 48 yrs. He had no idea how much he was loved and appreciated. So whoever reads this reach out and contact your sibling and let them know how much you love them. No argument is worth losing a brother or sister over. Whatever the problem may be put it to rest and just love each other.
Sadly, these relationships can't always be repaired. My only sister betrayed me with my ex, caused serious harm to my young daughter, and slandered me, when I was her biggest advocate, I trusted her and helped her out of an abusive relationship. That's all changed today. We speak only in passing. I've forgiven her, but I have some major scars from her deceitful behavior. As Jesus heals me, I'm praying for her, but my trust for her is zero. It's difficult to maintain a relationship with someone you can't trust. My best friend of 30 years is more of a sister to me, than my biological sister, and I'm grateful for her friendship. Thanks for sharing, and God bless you 🕊️🌹
@@msb1410 So sad, but the important thing is you've forgiven her. I agree that it's extremely difficult to build trust again once it's been broken. I wish you all the very best and hope you heal completely. God bless!
@@jacquelinejohnie2598 Thank you so much. It was hard in the beginning, and God has healed me of the pain of the betrayal. Because of who I am, if there's ever a time that she's in need, I would still be there. Because, that's what Jesus would do. Love your enemies. 🕊️🌹 God bless you, and thank you for the words of encouragement. 🙏
@@msb1410 I am so sorry 😞 that your sister betrayed you and I definitely do not condone such behaviors .I have observed throughout life that people make the worst mistakes of their lives when they are most vulnerable. The lost of a loved one 💔 a divorce or broken relationship with a significant other or even a religious leader or close friend 💔 life is uncertain troubling and we all must try to remain in a place of unconditionally love and forgiveness. The trust has to be earned but a loving and kind fellowship is the good 👍 ♥ life's short.
Sadly my siblings and other family don't care of I exist, so no thanks.
This is so cute. I’m close with my three sisters. So I completely understand the excitement. I would have cried
I did cry! 💧
Makes me wish I was close with both my sisters too
❤️
I would love to have a surprise visit from my 2 sisters and my mom. I only live 2 hours away but I bought a house a year and a half ago and they haven’t seen it.
Hilarious! Her pulling up and comes a running up 😆
indeed...Bro had to run for his life lmao
Oh man!! I would give anything for a family like this 😩😩. This was so dang wholesome
I know the feeling. I didn’t have it but have done everything possible to make sure my children did. Love seeing them together.
Me too
The show goes on. some people are lucky and live in bliss. others go through the ringer no matter what
Politics broke mine up 😢
Is a blessed family.
Made me cry. 😢 Ive wanted to have a brother like this my whole life. You are truly blessed. 😊
Me tooo
Perhaps in your next life. I do have such a brother. Used to appear in my house whenever he feels like visiting. I'd come home from work to a warm dinner on the table. He fell very ill in 2018 and I came to live with him until now.
me too
I teared up as well
They are blessed. My only living brother wouldn't sell me land from where we grew up. He sold it to strangers instead. Not a loving person at all.
I lost an older brother just 2 years ago. What I wouldn't give to see him on my front porch. I hope these siblings had an awesome visit. Love your siblings while you have them. They can be gone in an instant.
I lost my older brother in 2020. Nothing in life prepares you for the loss of a sibling. We think about losing our parents, our aunts and uncles, grandparents, we know that’s coming one day but no one really thinks about or prepares to lose a sibling at a young age. It completely turned my entire world upside down. It’s almost been two years and the grief is still there. I think about him every single day. I now believe it’s not some thing we ever get over, I think we just learn to live with the pain and loss. Sorry for your loss, it sucks!

@@Asdfgqedfglo me too. Sorry for your loss
@@Mymimemei sorry for yours! Sucks.
When you get older it get harder to see each other. Distance, Medical issues, loss of independence. Treasure your time together when you can make it happen.
I used to run screaming to my brother like that & jump in his arms lol. He passed last year. I miss him. This made my heart happy 💙🙏🏽♾
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
So sorry for your loss, I have a Brother that is 62, 8 years younger then me. I still call him my little Brother. Such a joy.
Look how the Kids are screaming and she comes running out of the truck. That's❤❤❤❤❤❤
For all of us who don't have this....thank you for sharing. Some families truly are blessed.
THE LOVE OF A BROTHER AND SISTER, ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.🙂
This made me cry!! I remember my brother (a marine embassy guard) coming back home after the Lebanon attack . Finally getting a call that he'd survived; then told he would be coming home. We put up yellow 🎗 ribbons everywhere. I just lost it when the car pulled up and I saw him standing in our driveway. I wish I could find the news report about it; back then most people didn't have video recorders. I've looked through our old family albums, can't find anything. But we were too excited to even think about taking pictures!!
Try contacting one of the news stations to see if they have it in their archives
@@adrianeclark6562 i tried; they don't have it. Been too long.
@@MrPatrickrawls I am. I've also contacted the local newspaper that ran the story. Fingers crossed 🤞 that I find something 🙂
That picture is locked away in your hearts.........safe and sound.
That’s so adorable! The squeals and then the girl racing in to find him just made my heart happy. I love my brother. He surprised us (me and my husband) with a Christmas hamper in 2020. We’d had a tough time during covid times (husband was out of work) and he just wanted to cheer us up. Certainly did. There was so much love and yummy goodies packed into that one box. He’s a good man!!
I absolutely love this! What a cool family
💯
Awww that was so sweet to see!! My brother died when I was seven of a brain tumor that we didn't even know he had. He was Awesome!! He was 14 years older than me but I was always with him and he loved being with me!! His friends would come over and he would still want me around!! I still miss him all the time and it's 40 years later.
Im so very sorry for your loss.. My brother died when he was 38. He was funny, smart and loved. I miss him.
@@khaley37781 Thank you!! I'm sorry for your loss!!! ♥️🤗 Good thing is they are always with us!!! ☺️
Sorry to hear that, I understand. My brother passed away at 12 years old and I was 9. It's been 44 years now. Miss him and always wonder what it could have been, had he not passed away so young.
@@dfiniin6820Thank you!! So sorry for your loss!!! I always wonder about it too. I think we probably always have days like that.
Wow!! We are planning a surprise 750 mile trip to surprise my brother tomorrow!! His wife knows we are coming cause we wanted to make sure they’d be around! Can’t wait to see his face!!
So how was the surprise. From the Caribbean.....🏖️😊
Great!!! He thought he was dreaming!!😅 we all had a great time! Had a surprise little birthday party too! Has to be one of the best trip in my life!
I’m a year later but I’m so glad to hear you all had a great time! I hope it continues!
So this is what a well adjusted, loving family looks like
Often things aren't as perfect as they seem.
Lucky sister and brother, to have each other 🤗🤧
Oh I love this, I just lost another Brother (3 since 2015) I miss them SO!!!!!! Love, spread it while you can!!!!!!!

How sweet ❤️
My beloved brother passed away in January. Never a day goes by that I don't wish I could do what this lady did, and hug him tight one more time. Broken heart hurts every single day. I miss you. With every sunrise and every sunset. 💕
Prayers and condolences to you and your family. Hoping that your heart is filled with beautiful memories and peace that exceeds all understanding. Much love to you ❤️

Her “WHERE IS HE” at the end was priceless. A great memory!
That was so sweet 🥹
That's very special ❤️💙
I'm a triplet and we have a sister who's a couple years younger. We all act like this towards each other.
My brother and I are very close so I totally get this excitement! May GOD continue to bless them with HIS LOVE, GOOD HEALTH, GREAT IDEAS AND FUN! Peace, Lynne 🍃💜🍃
I loved watching this! My brother was very important in my life, me, my husband and my son took care of him until cancer ripped him out of our lives, I miss him every moment of every single day!!
I adore seeing that much love in a family! Made me smile!
I had to watch that a couple of times. So freaking cute. Just seriously warms the heart. What a special relationship! 💓
Me to and each time it was like the first..made me emotional
Noooooooo, where was the finding him part? That was probably the most epic of all e.g., the crying and hugging etc. ❤️❤️❤️
Their love for each other is precious lol!!!! I don’t see my brothers and sister for years and when we do see each other it’s never been like that! Dang, I’m jealous.
WOW!!! I WILL NEVER GET ENOUGH OF SEEING THESE KINDA VIDEOS!!! FAMILY IS EVERYTHING!!! THANK YOU FOR THIS! I NEEDED THIS VIDEO TODAY!!! PEACE!!!✌🏾

I am totally going to do this to my Sister 💖
She will absolutely love it 💝
Do it 👏🏿👏🏿
This put such a smile on my face! I love sibling... family happiness!!
Sibling joy. Beautiful.
I am so envious of this family. I have t seen my brother in 20 years. His choice.
I'm so sorry. I haven't seen my son in 4 years. Also his choice. It's heartbreaking, isn't it? I'll pray for your brother to soften his heart. 😔
@@jamssnana4084 It is. I will pray for your son to soften his heart too
Appreciate your brothers and sisters. Let them know just how much you love them. I lost my sister to cancer , 8 months later I lost my brother to Covid. It’s as if I lost a part of my future because you expect to grow old with your siblings. The loss cuts deep.
This made me cry. As a sister who has lost 2 brothers. My future reunion will be in heaven. Hug them now and hug them often🥰💚💚💚
What an awsome brother. I love the screams of happines
I'm so happy for the love in your family.
So blessed. What I would do to get a happy birthday from my brother. This year will be his 20th birthday in heaven. I miss you and love you so much Pat. ❤️
That was emotional for me. Such love displayed there. Wish more families would like that.
her excitement made me cryyyy 😭😄🥰
Omg so adorable. Love it when siblings show some love ❤️.
Love how she ran in fast after him
I cried. Thanks.
I love them and wish I had a brother like that
Love it!!! Now that is love and family!!
Dang I cried 😭 this was wholesome!
Warms my heart. Always make time for each other no matter what. ❤️
Hope they know how blessed they are
I love my sisters for their blood-curdling screams when they see either their siblings or children unexpectedly. It is maybe the most beautiful (if terrifying) sound I have ever heard.
How wonderful. I miss my brother very much. He passed away in 1978 I was just 15 and he was 25. This is such an awesome surprise.
The love and excitement is palpable! Hold each other tight always! My brother ended his life on 2/25/1999 and I’ve never been the same.
My condolences...
Sending you much love ❤️
This is a great change of Pace. Its good to see Family with an Unbreakable bond.
This was so cute💚💚💚💚
I loved this so much!!!!!
Pure joy, so sweet
i would have enjoyed seeing more of the reunion!
The way she pulled up, hopped out the truck, and ran squealed 😂🤗💞.
Oh gosh I'm crying. ❤ I miss my brother.
This one got me teary-eyed when I heard how happy the sister was to see he was at her place.
Please, don’t take for granted if you have a close family like this. What a blessing!
This was just so cute and loving it made me tear-up and laugh at the same time. Her brother is a stinker for running and hiding. So, so very sweet . When I was 9 yrs. my older brother left to be stationed in the Philippines for almost 2 years. My mother, sister and I went to the airport when he came back. I will never forget how it felt to see him walk off the plane. We all ran to great him. I jumped into his arms like a monkey and he had to carry me to Baggage Claim. Poor mom and sis had to wait for their hugs. It was one of the best feelings ever.
I LOVE IT!!!! Hope you're having a great visit and have warmed up! lol This was awesome.
This video was just simply,, BEAUTIFUL...
Awww that sweet 😊🤗💞
This is how it's supposed to be, thank you!
That's pretty cute. Glad to see some love from the ring instead of break-ins and stealing packages.
You haven't seen the ring videos of the cat protecting the kid, the brother after jumping into the wrong yard, neighbors putting out a fire while the owner isn't home, ect.? There's plenty of other good ring video content, it's not even close to being all bad.
What a loving family.
Omg!!! What a wonderful surprise!!!🥰🥰🥰
I lost my baby brother when he was only 32. We were as close as these two and I miss him every day. I wish all siblings were as close as this.
Dang! That is some real sibling love right there!
So beautiful!!!! Sadly, I miss my twin sister 😢💔 But, we had 48 of the greatest years together 🙏👍❤️
Love this. I miss my family.

This made me cry, I miss my sister.....😥 *Lisa - 1962 to 2011, 49yrs old*

My sister would scream too...out of anger for why I have returned home 😂😂😂

This is so wholesome and adorable. I love seeing siblings who love each other. 💙💙
Cute, me and my brother are close. I love it!
Me and my sister have always been close. Of course, we sometimes fight, but I couldn't live without her lmao. That was a great reaction though.
My brother has only come to see me once in 50 years. That was when my parents drove him to see me! Be grateful for everyone of your siblings that love you that much that they come to surprise you
that's was great , needed that

God I miss having a family. This is sweet.
Of course he needed to come in and get warm, he had to sell his whole house to afford the gas to drive 2,000 miles.
it costs probably 400 bucks max if he needed 70 gallons of gas
@@privatedetectiveinvestigations lol you totally missed the joke but 70 gallons is well over 500 for me
So cute!
OH GOSH THAT MADE ME CRY PRICELESS

Family is everything.
Love it ❤️. She raced home really fast 😀
